This is a different take on Chinese food with a kind of Hong Kong style dim sum. It doesn't have the pizazz of staff walking around with trolleys, but they make it all in house and it tastes good. Not a huge menu but it covers most of the classic dim sum.

Our first time here and we really liked the food. It's a different variety from regular Chinese restaurants and we thought it made a nice change. Everything was delicious and the kids loved it too, especially the piggy buns. Staff were happy to explain things. Dim Sum will be added to one of our faves in PC.

Plenty of awesome bites in here... I tried dumplings, pork buns, ribs, and fried rice, and everything was delicious. Many more items on the menu I look forward to trying... a much better Chinese takeaway than the others in Palm Coast.

I just told the lady at the counter to put together a selection of the dim sum for us to try, and we were really pleased with the order. Not sure what everything was called, but the two types of dumplings and the buns were our favorites, but it was all very good. We need to make this a regular spot.

This is not like a Chinese restaurant where you get General Tso's or Chop Suey, although you can get Lo Mein and Stir Fry's, it's small plate dim sum and best when you order a variety for everyone to share. All of their dim sum is made by themselves and not from frozen bags. It is all very tasty and you can tell the difference with them being freshly prepared. We have been here several times since they opened and have found them to be consistent, friendly, and affordable. We recommend you dine in for the best experience and freshness.

Good dim sum and I appreciate that they make it all by hand. I think the flavors of some items needed a little boost. The fried tofu impressed me and I liked the dumplings. Basic decor with a family style setup. I'd definitely order from here again.

I've been seeing the signs from the Cypress parkway and finally gave them a try tonight, and so glad I did. I wasn't too impressed with the ambiance but the food was excellent. Didn't quite know what to order but it was very good, and not like other Chinese food options in Palm Coast.

Review by Sly, Palm Coast 3/3/20265.0Food:Service:Atmosphere:
The service and food were excellent. We had a variety of dim sum and they came out hot or steaming and tasted great. I like how the wrapper on their wontons is very thin. The fried rice is the best in town. Although the restaurant is simple, I recommend dining in because this food is best eaten fresh.

No sweet and sour chicken here but you do get some amazing dim sum dishes. Good selection and after visiting three times, I have tried most, and they've all been excellent. The shrimp shumai, pork bao's, and beef wontons are the most memorable. Staff will help if you're unfamiliar. A great place.

Review by Shayne, Palm Coast 2/3/20265.0Food:Service:Atmosphere:
Didn't have very high expectations when I walked in but I left very satisfied. The dim sum's were all delicious and I like that they make their own. The roasted pork bao was my favorite but they were all good. Two suggestions I have is I'd like to see more veg options as I can only usually eat a small amount of meat, and they could work on the atmosphere. Right now it's too bright and sparse and it doesn't match the food.

Very good dim sum and it's made fresh in house... you can taste that it's not frozen. The pork fried rice was excellent! Get some egg tarts to finish off... so good! The owner is nice and it's clean and uncluttered, unlike other Chinese places in Palm Coast.

Review by Felix, Palm Coast 1/1/20265.0Food:Service:Atmosphere:
The dim sum we ordered was all very tasty. I really like the Roast Pork Bao which had very tender and flavorful pork and fluffy bao. My wife liked the Chili Oil Wontons with Shrimp so much that she bought extra to bring home. A good variety of dim sum is available and fun to share with family or friends.

This is great dim sum and very close to how it is in NY. The shrimp lo mein, red bean buns, chili oil wontons, and BBQ pork are all delicious. Everything is nicely served and the staff are terrific, but they could do with paying a little more attention to the decor and atmosphere.

Review by Mia, Palm Coast 11/16/20254.5.0Food:Service:Atmosphere:
Something a little different than the usual Chinese places in town with dim sum choices plus a few stir fry and noodle dishes. We ordered a selection of the dim sum and liked them all especially the shrimp dumplings. We had the chicken fried rice which was good and the bok choy for some greens, but we didn't care for those. Our order was ready when we arrived and staff were very nice.

Review by Hayes, Palm Coast 11/7/20254.5.0Food:Service:Atmosphere:
The menu has some interesting items on it, at least for Palm Coast, and we tried a few which were very good and look forward to trying more. The shrimp wontons in chili oil, turnip cakes, and soup dumplings were the highlights for us. Not much in the way of atmopshere but the staff are friendly and parking is convenient.

Review by Shaz, Palm Coast 11/3/20254.5.0Food:Service:Atmosphere:
The waitress was terrific and she helped us order some delicious dim sum for the table. So many to choose and the ones we picked were very tasty. I did like the beef dumplings with chcili oil the best and the piggy buns were also very good. The restaurant is nothing fancy but it is very clean and people were coming and going all the time.

Dim Sum Express in Palm Coast offers a fresh take on Hong Kong-style dim sum with all dishes handmade in-house. The menu, while not extensive, covers classic dim sum items such as dumplings, pork buns, soup dumplings, ribs, and fried rice, with many reviews highlighting the pork lo mein, sesame balls, and fried rice as especially flavorful. The service is noted for being friendly and informative, with staff happy to explain menu items to newcomers. The atmosphere is simple and family-oriented but lacks decorative flair. Guests appreciate the consistently tasty food and find the pricing reasonable for the quality. Dining in is encouraged to enjoy the dishes fresh and hot. While a few have wished for stronger seasoning on some items, overall, the experience is satisfying and distinct from typical Chinese restaurants in the area.
