The Portuguese Table CLAIMED

The Portuguese Table, which just opened, has wonderful food that is beautifully presented. The staff are friendly and accommodating. However, the AC could use an upgrade.

Highlight of visit: The codfish croquettes and grilled chicken were the best I ever had!

What an amazing experience from beginning to end! The food, the hospitality, the service... everything was incredible.

We started with the garlic shrimp and garlic octopus, both absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. The guys even brought us some dobrada to try, a very traditional Portuguese dish. Such a thoughtful gesture and one of those little things that makes you feel genuinely welcomed. And of course, warm Portuguese bread and butter came to the table too. If you know, you know!

For our main courses, we tried the Portuguese Table Style Steak, codfish in cream, shrimp pasta, and barbecue ribs. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. The steak was juicy, the codfish was creamy and comforting, the shrimp pasta was delicious, and those ribs were so tender and flavorful.

Then came dessert... OMG. 🤤

We tried the affogato for the first time and LOVED it. Ice cream with hot espresso poured over it... I didn't know I needed this in my life! We also had serradura, flan, and their homemade chocolate mousse.

And that chocolate mousse!!! You can immediately tell this isn't something that came out of a container. It has that rich, homemade flavor and is made with real Portuguese chocolate. Creamy, chocolatey, and SO good. Honestly, all the desserts had that homemade taste that reminded us of the desserts you would actually have back home in Portugal.

And obviously, we had to finish everything with Portuguese coffee. You could smell that espresso from miles away! Strong, fresh, and the perfect ending to an incredible meal.

I also have to mention the service because it was probably one of the things that impressed us the most. The restaurant was FULL, but you would never know it by watching the guys work. They were taking care of everyone, checking on every table, bringing food out, and still had smiles on their faces like nothing was happening. Never once did we feel rushed or forgotten.

Amazing food, incredible service, generous portions, and those real homemade Portuguese flavors that are hard to find.

Amazing food and service! Parabens Portuguese table!!! We ordered empanadas, garlic shrimp, seafood rice and pastel de nata. Amazing flavors! Definitely coming back!
