This restaurant has some seriously good sushi. We were worried when we frst entered as no one else was in there but the staff jumped straight in making us at home and provided great service. We ordered more rolls than we could handle and we thought that the Golden Apple and Crazy Tuna ones were our absolute favorites, with the Crazy Tuna probably being one of the best sushis I have ever had. Our waiter never stopped checking in on us and were happy to see some other customers coming in making the atmosphere more lively.

My wife and I visit Red Koi often and we always end up ordering more food than we can eat, but we can't resist all their great rolls. The Fuji Volcano Roll is our favorite, and I personally always get the Spider Roll with softshell crab. The servers and staff here are the best and there's always a cool vibe. I just wish we could afford to come here more often.

We were very happy with the sushi at Red Koi and loved the decor and vibe. Our server was cool and the rolls were made fresh in front of us and looked so pretty. So many rolls to choose from. Prices are reasonable and I can't wait to come back.

We were very impressed with Red Koi and had the best sushi and hibachi so far locally. There's also some good apps and the Bang Bang shrimp were ahhhmazing. They have a wonderful atmosphere with an izakaya type atmosphere and the best waitstaff. I read that they had cocktails but we were told they don't have a full liquor license anymore, but do have Japanese beers and sake. For the price, quality of food, excellent service, and wonderful atmosphere, Red Koi can't beat.
Highlight of visit: The Black Dragon Roll and Red Koi Roll were our favorites among the sushi, and the Salmon Hibachi was excellent. And as mentioned the Bang Bang Shrimp is a delicious appetizer. We left so full 😋

The BEST sushi restaurant in Palm Coast! Ambiance and service are top notch and the sushi is outstanding. Great quality and everything made fresh. I could eat my weight in the EL Diablo Rolls 🌶ï¸ğŸ˜‹ and the Fuji Volcano Roll is amazing too. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu here and try the Chef Special as well.

Red Koi has a good vibe and the rolls really impressed me. The Volcano Roll, Green Dragon and Dragon Eggs looked amazing and tasted fresh with flavors that worked well together. Service was friendly and the timing was right, never felt rushed. I also tried the hibachi trio, the filet was tender and seasoned well, but sitting outside wasn’t ideal because of cigar smoke drifting over from nearby. Overall it’s a good spot for sushi in Palm Coast and I’d definitely come back for the rolls. Just sit inside!

Good little sushi restaurant with a great vibe and attentive customer service. The Volcano Roll, Red Koi Roll, and Nigiri were all excellent and the Dragon’s Eggs are a must have. The plum wine was delicious and our evening here exceeded expectations.

From looking at this place online we expected it to be bigger but it was quite small and the outside patio was disappointing. Service could have been more attentive but we did enjoy the hibachi and most of the sushi rolls we chose were good. I haven't tried other sushi restaurants in Palm Coast yet and would do so before I came back here again.

As a vegetarian I was really happy to see that they offer a variety of vegetable sushi rolls, and I chose four for us to share and ordered the vegetable tempura appetizer as well. The tempura was quite good but apart from the soy sauce it had no flavor or seasoning, and when the sushi rolls arrived, as much as they looked very nice, didn't have much flavor either and tasted quite bland. The only real flavors I ever got were from the soy sauce and the wasabi. We did have good service and it's quite nice inside, but the food, at least the veg options, need some work.

Red Koi is undoubtably the best sushi restaurant in Palm Coast and we also really like the vibe there. Never had a bad roll there and those dragon’s egg things are truly amazing!!! Always great service and they treat you very well.

Saturday night and not too busy and we sat inside. Although we were greeted and seated straight away it took a long time before a server came over. We ordered a few sushi rolls which arrived fast but just on a plate not looking very attractive. The rolls tasted quite good but some fell apart when trying to pick up. Server didn't check on us much and we had to grab his attention for drink refills, etc. They have also no longer sell liquor and cocktails are now just wine of sake based. The Japanese beer was good and very cold. The restaurant is quite nice inside and although not full it was loud, but that kind of added to the atmosphere. Outside could be nicer and you have to put up with the smell of cigar smoke from the stogie bar next door.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience here at Red Koi for our weekend date night. Our server was very attentive and thoughtful and the setting inside has a nice Asian bistro feel to it. We had a variety of dishes to share including some appetizers, sushi, tempura, and hibachi, and everything was perfect and so tasty. The fillet in the hibachi was very tender and the shrimps tastes very fresh. The sushi looked so beautiful and the tempura batter was very light and crispy. We both loved Red Koi and can't wait to come back.

Didn't have sushi instead ordered the Vegetable Tempura and Tofu Hibachi which were both really good. Had a great server who gave a lot of attention and the restaurant has nice vibes. Need to come back here again and try the sushi next time.

Loved the food here. Sushi looked beautiful and was fresh and tasty. The batter on the tempura was light and crispy. But those Dragon Eggs stole the show... amazing. Service was awesome and the courtyard seating is very nice.

We were at Red Koi over the weekend and had a great time. The restaurant's location in the European Village offers a great outdoor patio with music. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I started with a cocktail which wasn't very good so I switched to Japanese beer, which was much better. The sushi was excellent. We had a variety of sushi rolls and they were all very tasty and looked amazing. Definitely is as good as any other sushi in Palm Coast and has the best service and atmosphere.

Review by Pat, Palm Coast 6/23/20233.5.0Food:Service:Atmosphere:
Went for dinner and it was very quiet, and I imagine it would be a better atmosphere with more people as it has very nice decor. The server was extremely friendly and checked on us often. The food is hit or miss... our sushi rolls were very good and nicely resented, but the hibachi was completely tasteless and the batter just not crispy. Would give it another try but will probably stick to the sushi next time.
