It seems like everyone has their favorite Chinese restaurant in Palm Coast and King Palace is mine. I have tried them all a few times each over the years... read more!
Review of King Palace by Adam from Palm Coast
Very good service here and I like how they are willing to adjust a dish. Food is very tasty and big portions for at least two meals. Lot of construction going on at the plaza but the restaurant is very clean inside. Easy parking.
Highlight of visit: Shrimp with Garlic Sauce and Szechuan Chicken are very good dishes.

King Palace is our favorite Chinese restaurant in Palm Coast. They are not very good for eating in but have good takeout and delivery service. We like how their food tastes and it's always cooked fresh and ready fast. You can see the kitchen from the counter and it's nice and clean. The staff are friendly and the food is priced reasonably.

Tried King Palace last night. Liked their sesame chicken and the generals. Mongolian beef tasted ok but had an odd texture to the meat. Rice was good but the crab Rangoon was not the best. Staff friendly and a lot of construction going on. I hint it will be much nicer once that is complete.

Not easy place to get in and out of especially with all the construction in the building so I ordered on Doordash. It arrived in good time and everything was well packaged and tasted great. No complaints about the food at all and still the best Chinese food I've had in Palm Coast. Hopefully it'll be much more convenient once the construction is finished.

All these Chinese places in Palm Coast taste the same to me. None are particularly great and all have the same menus and level of service. A lot of building work going on here but they remain open. Food was satisfactory and did its job of feeding a family of five quite inexpensively, but not anything to rave about.

I ordered with DoorDash and had no problems with the service. We had a variety of our favorite Chinese dishes that included Boneless Spare Ribs, Beef Chow Mein, General Tso’s Chicken, and Sesame Shrimp, plus a few sides and rices. All the dishes tasted very good but on the sweeter side and were large portions. The Beef Chow Mein was not too dark and was probably my favorite dish. Five of us devoured everything so no major complaints.

Just ordered from here using Doordash and delivery was quick and everything was packaged well and still hot. The food tasted great and portions were large. The Szechuan Triple Delight was very good and my wife liked the Dragon & Phoenix for its taste and variety. We just had plain white rice which was good and the Egg Rolls were light and non oily. Will definitely order from here again.
Highlight of visit: Both of our meals were very good... the Szechuan Triple Delight and the Dragon & Phoenix.

Good friendly service but everything tasted the same... just like very sweet soy sauce with some garlic. If you closed your eyes you would never distinguish from the dishes or tell what meat it is. The rice and eggroll were OK. I'll move on and keep looking for better Chinese in Palm Coast.

Got the Bourbon Chicken Combo which was quite good... flavor nice but on the salty side. Egg roll and Pork Fried rice were OK. Lots of construction going on outside and hope they do some fixing up inside too as it's a bit run down.

King Palace is your typical Chinese takeout with all the familiar dishes and combos. Ordered 2 or 3 times from here and it's quite good food, and they're quite good priced. The Dragon and Pheonix is good.

Some dishes good here some not so good. Lo Mein was nearly all noodles with hardly any meat or veggies and we had to add soy sauce to it for flavor. The Chicken with Broccolli was mostly broccoli stems that were almost raw. But the Szechuan Chicken and Spicy Shredded Beef were really delicious and Pork Fried Rice was spot on. The restaurant is very basic and not suited to eating in and staff easy to communicate with.

Food is usually tasty and pretty good value! I order lunch from here and it's usually ready when I get there. Usually get a combo platter that comes with pork fried rice and egg roll. The Generals or Bourbon chicken are my favorites.

You really have to look to find this place. It's not a place you want to dine in and is more suited for takeaway. The Moo Goo Gai Pan tasted good but the chicken had a strange texture, but the Roast Pork Egg Foo Young was spot on. The Beef with Broccoli was mostly broccoli with little beef although the flavor was nice. Rice was good and eggrolls were greasy and had to put on paper towels to absorb the oil before eating, but actually tasted good after. Service was ok and didn't have to wait too long.
Highlight of visit: The Roast Pork Egg Foo Young was very good.

This is in an odd location but has reasonable food that was tasty with good sized portions and quite cheap. Service was ok but the restaurant and outside area could do with some TLC.
Highlight of visit: We got some combo platters and liked the Chicken in Garlic Sauce and the Roasted Pork Egg Foo Young.

Mixed feelings about my order from here... half good and half disappointing. On the latter side, the General Tso's Chicken was a goopy gelatinous mess and the Wonton soup had so much grease floating on top and that's all that could be tasted. On the plus side, the Crab Rangoon, Moo Goo Gai Pan, and Beef with Vegetables were all delicious. This is not easy to find and it's not a very inviting place either, but the staff was friendly and the prices aren't too bad.

The inside is a bit of a dump but the woman serving was very nice and helped me to decide what to order. The dishes had good flavor but the texture on the General Tso's Chicken was kind of weird like it was cooked from frozen. The rest of the family enjoyed their food.

They make some dishes better than others. We order at least once a week from them. BUT our main complaint is that the same dish is inconsistent from week to week. They deliver and get the order correct that's worth a minimum of 4 stars.
Highlight of visit: Good egg foo young, & noodle dishes.

Our neighbors recommended us this restaurant and we called to place an order which was easy. But when we went to pick it up finding it was not so easy! It's in a strange location for a restaurant hidden off the road without any signage. Anyways, at least the food was quite good and had nice flavors. It tasted freshly made and the portion sizes plentiful. The Hunan Beef was melt in the mouth tender. At least we now know where it is for next time.

Same as all the other Chinese's in Palm coast using frozen bags of food from the restaurant supply stores! Hardly anything made from scratch and everything tasted frozen! Can't Chinese restaurants in Palm Coast cut up a chicken and make a sauce from scratch? Plus they all have the atmosphere of a morgue and attitude like we're all [to Chinese food] Americans! And it appears most of us are!

Our family has been getting Chinese take-out from King Palace for more than a decade and we have very rarely been disappointed. Since their inception, the quality and consistency of their food has stood the test of time. We WOULD campare it to Chinese take-out from NY, where we lived prior to moving to Palm Coast.
The only reason I gave it 4 stars for atmosphere is, it's a completely generic take-out restaurant atmosphere, although it has tables to eat-n, and we have, on occasion, it's not a beautiful ambiance, but who cares about ambiance, when they have great Chinese food.
They've always been very sweet to us. The husband has come to deliver, even before it's delivery hours. We will pick up from now on, since the husband and wife both take care of the food and we don't want to take them away from that.
We LOVE King Palace-it's one, of the two, Chinese restaurants we order from in Palm Coast.
Highlight of visit: We tend to reorder the same things over and over, again. Our faves are: apps: their chicken meatballs, fried dumplings, shrimp egg rolls. For main courses and sides, we like: roast pork lo mein, moo shu pork, mei fun, moo goo gai pan, and their pad thai.
