This is truly a hidden gem... very well hidden in fact, it's hidden on a road we rarely drive down and even when we have, we never ever saw it. But after searching for a restaurant on here for our anniversary, we decided to visit Don Luigi's. We made reservations on their website which was easy. It is a small and narrow building, with an intimate atmosphere. We had a warm welcome and were seated at a nice table. We love Italian food and it was hard to choose as everything sounded delicious. For antipasti, we chose the Antipasto Freddo which as a lovely selection of meats, cheeses, peppers, and olives, and for entrees, we had the Veal Scaloppini Francese and the Saltimbocca di Vitello. Both meals were excellent with everything tender and perfectly flavored. The sauces were not too rich or salty, which is our problem with the chain pasta restaurants. We had no room for dessert but did enjoy a cappuccino each with lady fingers. The staff were very attentive and courteous, and our server made sure our night was special. Now we know that it's here, we won't be strangers.

We had family in town and took them here before Christmas, and we had a spectacular meal and excellent service. Our waitress had a good personality and was very professional. The food was delicious, and we all enjoyed our meals. They even accommodated a vegetarian in our party with a dish she was extremely pleased with. Wine and drinks were very good and the atmosphere was casually elegant.

This is a small but Italian eatery tucked away in a small strip mall that is tucked away from the main road, but once you find it, you'll be warmly greeted and seated in the cozy dining room. The menu is typical of almost any Italian restaurant with no special house dishes or homemade pastas. But the food was good and the service was excellent. It's the kind of place that just feels comfortable.

Nice place with professional service but the food didn't really wow us. We thought the dishes were just basic Italian you can get almost anywhere. They were cooked well but I wouldn't call it gourmet. They do have some nice touches though and we did leave satisfied.

We had a really good waiter and liked the cozy atmosphere. As for the food, everything was delicious. The bread and dip and Freddo antipasto were a perfect start, and the Veal Marsala was so good with a lovely rich sauce. My friend had a pasta with a cream wine sauce which she raved about. We very much enjoyed our meal here and although the menu is mostly just classic Italian dishes, they're prepared very well, the staff are super and for strip mall restaurant they make the most of the space.

Don Luigi's is our go-to spot when I don't feel like cooking... we love Italian food, and they are always satisfied with flavorful dishes, good hospitality, and a cozy atmosphere. We have had so many wonderful meals here and yet to be disappointed. It's miles above the chain place up the road!

We had a very nice night here and was impressed with the quality of the service. The food was good but needed more flavor and the pasta was under seasoned. I had to request salt & pepper as there was none on the table. Some nice touches though and it has a lovely atmosphere.

Cute lace with a good atmosphere and staff were very professional. Although I wouldn't call the food gourmet it was quite good. The Stuffed Salmon was very good but the Lobster Ravioli tasted pre bought. Good bread. Not the best wines.

My son brought me to Don Luigi's for an early Mother's Day dinner and it was a lovely experience. They have a nice elegant yet casual atmosphere and so many delicious sounding items on the menu. I ordered a veal marsala dish which was full of flavor, tender, and looked beautiful on the plate. The sauce was rich and tasty. The bread and oil, small side salad, and tiramisu were all excellent. They also have drip espresso which was strong but smooth. The staff made everything special and thank you to my son for a great restaurant selection.

We've been coming to Don Luigi's for a couple of years and have never had a bad meal here. There are so many dishes on the menu to choose from that offer a good variety. Sometimes I get something simple like the Penne Genovese and leave more than satisfied, or I may get one of their excellent seafood dishes. Either way, Don Luigi's doesn't disappoint especially with their attentive service and cozy vibe.

The name says it's 'gourmet' which I would disagree with, but it is definitely very good homestyle Italian food. Service was friendly and our server took great care of us, but food was slow coming out, which was fine as we were not in a rush and we enjoyed relaxing between courses. Wine selection is basic but we did have a reasonable Chianti. We would put this on the list of Palm Coast's better restaurants and will happily return again.

Superb Italian food and professional service. Had the Penne alla Genovese with Chicken and it was superb. My wife loved her Mussels with Linguini dish. This is a very good restaurant that cares about its food and quality of service. 5 stars all around from me.
Highlight of visit: I'm a simple guy so just had the Penne alla Genovese with added chicken, and the flavors were superb. Also the Antipasto Caldo was an excellent antipasti.

My wife and I visited for dinner Saturday and enjoyed our meal, although we were disappointed with the pasta. We expected homemade or at least on the flat pastas, but they're all bought dried pasta which puts them in the same category as Olive Garden or Carrabba's, and not close to the likes of Osteria Rustica. The food did have some nice flavors but this is not elevated Italian food. Service was very professional and ambiance quite nice but a little cavernous.

Tucked away and easily missed when driving by, but it is well worth seeking out. It's small, cozy, with excellent service. The food is really delicious. From the fresh garlic bread to the pastas to the desserts, we loved every bite. The lobster ravioli was so good and reasonably priced too. The chef here definitely has a magical touch.

Don Luigi's in Palm Coast offers a warm, intimate setting for enjoying classic Italian dishes prepared with care. Guests appreciate the tender veal Marsala and Saltimbocca di Vitello, praised for their rich sauces and balanced flavors. Starters like the Antipasto Freddo and fresh bread with dip consistently draw positive remarks. The wine list complements the menu well, with friendly and attentive service often highlighted as a key part of the experience. The restaurant creates a cozy yet elegant ambiance, fitting for special occasions or casual dining. While the menu sticks to traditional Italian fare without unusual twists, dishes are generally well-prepared and satisfying. Minor notes include some requests for additional seasoning at the table and occasional comments on the wine selection, but overall the atmosphere and thoughtful hospitality stand out to visitors.
