Review of Golden Chopsticks Buffet by Olive from Palm Coast
First visit when they had just opened was chaotic and not a good experience, but driving by today it didn't look too busy so we stopped in, and it was a far better experience. All the food looked fresh and the stations were clean. We tried various dishes and had the hibachi and everything tasted great. Our server was good at cleaning away the empties and keeping us refilled. Good value for money if you arrive with an appetite.

As far as buffet food goes Golden Chopsticks is very good. I tried several dishes and some sushi and they were all tasty. The young Asian lady waiting on us had limited English but was very cheerful, and the decor is nice.

I love it... I had a very good experience... the service was great and the food was on point... I will definitely be going back again... this is what Palm Coast needed.
Highlight of visit: The price was just right. We had lunch and I looking forward to trying the Dinner.

Very much an enjoyable experience at Golden Chopsticks and I'm happy they opened! Great addition to Palm Coast.
Highlight of visit: The baked salmon.

We were one of the first in when they opened and we were impressed at how bright and colorful, and nicely decorated the place is. All the buffet foods freshly cooked and not just turned over from the night before. They were making fresh sushi and we started to sample everything. There wasn't anything I didn't like and the highlight for me was the hibatchi. Very good value.

Like most buffets there's always some dishes or items that are not so great, but mostly the food at Golden Choptick's buffet was very good. For just about the price of an entree almost anywhere else, you get a lot of choices and opportunity to fill up for the day. No room for desserts so not sure how they were, but I was very satisfied with everything else. The staff were also very nice and the setting is much improved over the drab old Golden Coral.

Great lunch today at Golden Chopsticks in Palm Coast. Everything we tried was fresh, hot, and delicious, and the service was excellent.
Highlight of visit: Pineapple chicken, coconut shrimp, steamed dumplings were very good.

I liked the Asian style decorations and they have all new booths, flooring, etc., so it's much fresher and nicer than the old Golden Coral. I thought buffet restaurants were dead after Covid but judging by the huge amount of people here tonight, I was very wrong! The service was friendly but maybe they could of had some more servers to make it better. The food stations were well stocked with something for everyone. The usual Chinese dishes and a few American ones, hibachi and sushi stations, and plenty of salad and desserts. I mostly went for the Chinese dishes and they had good flavors and not too sweet. They had a pepper beef type dish that was excellent. I'd like to return when it's quieter and sample more. For around $20 you can have a good meal, which is rare elsewhere these days.

They have a lot of food for $13 at lunch and what I had tasted good. Disappointed with the hibachi ingredients though. Our server was very good but I was shocked to see they charged us for drink refills!

I loved it! Yes, it was crazy due to being a new buffet. I thought the food was very good and the restaurant was nice. They have a large selection and the sushi was amazing! They made large pieces and was very fresh. I have been to just about every Chinese buffet near us and this is by far the best.
Highlight of visit: The hibachi grill was amazing!

We've had a few Chinese buffets before in Palm Coast and I think Golden Chopsticks is the best so far. It was extremely busy which made it difficult to get good service and to keep everything stocked and cleaned, but the food we had tasted very good. They have made a good effort with the decorations and I think it will be enjoyed much more once it's calmer.

First off, this is not a commercial endorsement or compensated endorsement. My wife and I have waited for this restaurant to open and we went today. The parking lot during lunchtime was half full of cars. Going into the front doors of the restaurant you are met with a beautiful cherry tree in full bloom. There is also 3 dimensional wall art in the entryway. Being taken to our table by staff occurred in about 1 minute. The fish/seafood was perfectly cooked. I had crab meat, salmon fillet and peel/eat large shrimp. I had egg rolls, chicken drumettes, Asian noodles. It was all hot and cooked perfectly. We had no complaints. The staff was friendly and cleared our table of used plates while we sat. The staff was very attentive and standing by ready to serve.
Highlight of visit: We have already decided to go back and I will get the salmon again.

They have done a good job at renovating from the old Golden Corral and the food is certainly much better. Like any buffet, you see the worst of people as they pile plates a mile high and make a horrible mess, which I find very off putting. I tried a few dishes and they tasted quite good plus had a couple of sushi rolls that were nice. The lunch prices are good value and I’m sure it will feel much better once the opening rush has died down.

The food was good for a buffet. Very few items were labeled which makes you have to guess what you’re grabbing, I grabbed a custard bun thinking it would be a pork bun. There are a lot of options to choose from, you won’t go hungry that’s for sure. The price is very good for a big buffet like this, 12.99 for lunch and 17.99 for dinner. It has a section where you grab cold food and they make it like hibachi which is very creative. Overall it’s a good place to go if you have a big party or picky eaters.
Highlight of visit: I really liked the wide range of sushi.

A standard Asian buffet with Chinese and Japanese cuisine and a pretty good salad bar. Most of the food tasted quite nice but hardly anything is labeled so if you have allergies you could be in trouble. Service was OK but slow at cleaning and some of the buffet areas could do with cleaning more often.

I admit I prefer table service over buffets but the rest of the family insisted on trying this new place so I relented. We must have arrived at a lull as when we left there were hoards of people outside waiting to get in like a ticket line for a Taylor Swift concert! So, I did enjoy the food which was plentiful and they had a good variety of dishes and items, but had of been one of hose poor souls lining up for an hour+ for a table, I'd say it wouldn't have been worth it. I still prefer table service restaurants but without a wait for a table, I would visit Golden Chopsticks again.

Went there today and was disappointed. Mostly seafood instead of traditional Chinese dishes. Which is nice if you like seafood. But unfortunately I don't eat seafood and allergic to shellfish. I found it very challenging to find something to eat as nothing was labeled except for the salad dressings. Also they had a flyer saying that it was lunch price Mon thru Sat until 3pm. They charged us dinner price. I showed them what the price was on their flyer and they would not honor it and then proceeded to take all the flyers away. Even though I wasn't too happy with it I wish them the best of luck.

We enjoyed the food here but it will be much better after the opening rush has calmed down... it's just a little too crazy in there right now and the staff are doing too much crowd control. I was impressed with how the cooks kept the buffet replenished and stocked, and the only bottleneck was the hibachi. I'll be back once the honeymoon period is over.

It's a nice place with all the usual Chinese buffet choices plus sushi, hibachi and salad/dessert bar. The items had from the cooked buffet were good and the sushi I ate was OK but they didn't have many choices. They also had shrimps and crayfish but no crablegs. Service was OK but I can see as it's new and very busy the staff are still figuring everything out. Good value if you come with an appetite.
