Food was perfect. It brought me back to my years in Germany. Simple place and just right. Looking forward to coming back.
Highlight of visit: Rahmschnitzel and spaetzle was perfect.

Their homemade Bratwurst are excellent... you can really tell the difference from bought ones. Nice folks and a clean cozy atmosphere. Will try the schnitzel next as that looked good.

Although it's a very basic restaurant and more like a roadside stop, the food at Schnitzel Time is very authentic and you get European hospitality. We have visited 2 or 3 times and enjoyed the food a great deal. The sausages are homemade and you can really taste the difference. We have been to Buchner’s Bierhalle in Jacksonville and Schnitzel Time's food is much better. Just wish they had big steins of beer 🍺

Have visited many German restaurants in the states and Schnitzel Time is by far the best !! The jager schnitzel was as good as any served in a gasthof in Germany and the spatzle was absolutely authentic !! Enjoyed our dinner immensely and will definitely make this our “go to” restaurant for a Great German Meal !!
Highlight of visit: The food is excellent and Sven and his staff are very welcoming …. This is a great place for an authentic German meal and I Highly recommend a visit soon !

We heard about this restaurant for such a long time but haven't been there yet since it looks so busy. Well last night the weather was awful so we decided to try it since we had family visiting.
I must say that all the positive reviews I've read were on target. Everything was absolutely perfect.
Highlight of visit: I ordered the Cream schnitzel with spaetzle while the rest of our party had the German Hot Dog with sauerkraut and onion with a side of French fries. Everything was delicious. Then Sven, the owner, gave us a side of German potato salad and cucumber salad to try. It was by far the best potato salad I've ever had with chopped bacon. Even the French fries were delicious. The German beer was just perfect with our meal.

You have to admit that German food doesn't look the most appetizing and is quite basic with dishes like a sausage on a bed of kraut or schnitzel on egg noodles, but it is very tasty, and it appears that almost everything at Schnitzel Time is passionately made from scratch from the brats to the potato salad, which you have to respect in this day and age. Plus this is all in a gas station store. Simple but delicious.

Saw this place when getting gas and grabbed a bratwurst in a roll with potato salad side to go. Both very good but wish I had some condiment for the brat. Friendly service.

This restaurant is off to a smashing success. The food was excellent the staff was very friendly and the Schnitzel was outstanding. My husband had the brat and he said, it was the best he ever had. Also, the German potato salad was excellent.
Highlight of visit: The Jaeger Schnitzel and brat on a roll. Definitely will return and have.

I never trust what's in sausages so ordered the schnitzel which was very good... had a good crisp and flavor with a superb gravy and a side of spatazle which I enjoyed... I would definitely order that dish again!! Friendly folks working the place and they have done a nice job of making a gas station eatery into a neighborhood restaurant. I bid them much success.

Been twice here now and liked their brats but found them a little dry, and thought the hunter sauced schnitzel was awesome. No fault with the service and it's clean and comfortable inside.

Very impressed with their brats and the service is very friendly. Didn't take too long to get our food and we took home as we live close by. Had brats from supermarkets but the first time from a German restaurant and there's definitely a big difference. Less bready and more meat. Their menu is quite small but it's just a tiny place on the side of a gas station.

We just ate here, and the food is excellent. An Army career spent mostly in Germany, and married to a German wife, we know German food. Quick, friendly service, and fair prices so check this place out.
Highlight of visit: Rahm schnitzel, and jaeger schnitzel with spaetzle were excellent.

Even though I never really found German food to be very exciting I always have to give new places a try. Staff were pleasant and although it's in a gas station, it feels quite nice inside. The food offerings are very typical with the usual schnitzel and bratwurst but I was pleased to see some interesting sounding sauces and a German mac & cheese piqued my interest. I went for the latter and a Currywurst with Pommed Frits, and I thought everything was quite good. I was also happy to see German beer available! I hope they do very well here! The fact that I can walk here from my home is a big plus too!

There seems to be a run locally on small specific restaurants that are mostly pickup and takeout
places, which is fine for this type of food and something I quite welcome. This week we did Beachside Gyros, Stoked Poke, and today Schnitzel Time. Although all completely different food, they offer limited menus with a focus on just a couple of dishes, and here it's schnitzel and sausages, or bratwurst. Both are available in rolls with a variety of traditional sides and sauce options. The schnitzel is quite dry and needs a sauce or gravy, and I recommend the bell pepper sauce. The brats are a little one dimensional without a condiment and I opted for sauerkraut. We took our food to a nearby park to eat by the canal and had ourselves a feast of a picnic. The food was very good. The brat was my favorite and probably one of the best I've had, and the schnitzel was tasty it was a little tough and maybe over cooked. The staff at Schnitzel Time appeared to all be German and appeared to be overwhelmed, which is understandable as it was busy and they're still getting used to the system. I do like this new trend of niche specialty restaurants and hope we see a lot more pop up locally.

Forget this place is in a gas station, the food is authentic and very good. Went twice in 3 days because I liked it so much. Had a brat roll the first time and a schnitzel the next and thought they were both great. Kraut on the dog was good and the spaetzle was tasty.

I think they're still finding their feet and seem disorganized with people standing around all over, but their food is very good. Dogs are large and meaty and schnitzel is impressive. Just a bad location I think.

Loved it and wish we had more places like this in our neighborhood. This would have been a great fit in the European Village. Everything was delicious. Took a while to get but worth the wait. Online ordering not working yet.

I agree with the parking. We couldn't park and came back later but it should be better when the opening honeymoon period ends. The staff are very inviting and seem proud of their offerings. The food is very good here, and although it's mostly rolls, dogs, etc. there's a good variety and very filling. Being close to my house is a plus so maybe I'll walk next time. Welcome to the neighborhood Schnitzel Time 👏
