Good breakfast spot and family loves coming here. We like the patio tables best as inside is a little dingy. Lots to choose from for breakfast and we always end up eating way too much! Good fried cheicken and waffles and omelets. Kids like their pancakes and waffles. Service is good and they have decent coffee. They try to keep prices down even in this shit economy.

In for breakfast on my own and was overlooked by servers until I finally got to order. Food came out fast and was mostly good except for the Canadian bacon which was very tough and dry. Coffee was average and again service was bad and refills were almost non exisitant. I guess I wasn't a big enough order for them.

Four of us for breakfast and we had about a 15 minute wait to get seated. It was busy and I couldn't believe people were actually sitting outside 🥶 Extensive menu and we all chose different. Everyone enjoyed their breakfasts except the pancakes tasted premade and rubbery. Everything else was very tasty and well cooked. We liked that nothing was really greasy especially the hasbrowns and potatoes. Our server was great and worked hard. It's not an easy job as I've done it and she was great. Metro is a good local option but I think it could do with expanding.

We are a family of six so had to wait longer for a larger table but once seated our server was great and didn't fluster over orders from four fussy kids. Considering it was very busy our breakfasts came out fast and all at the same time which is impressive. We all had different orders and everything was delicious and plentiful, and the kids loved the pancakes and French toast. My hubby had a breakfast burger which was a perfect breakfast for him, and I had a very good scramble bowl. We can't afford to eat out often these days but Metro's prices are good, and it was lovely to have us all together for breakfast.

Loan diner, sat outside for late breakfast. Server was good. She wore a shirt with Friends with Benedicts on the back. Made me laugh but had a breakfast burger. It did have hollandaise at least and was tasty. Metro is a good dependable option.

Stopped here for dinner with wife and 9 year old son. We came here for breakfast once before which was good, but dinner wasn't so great. Both the shepherd's pie and the teriyaki salmon were too salty. The ground meat in the pie was chewy but the salmon was cooked nicely and was a big piece. Our son got a burger and said it was good but he didn't finish it which is very rare. Service was slow and the vibe was off. It had a much better atmosphere when we came for breakfast.

Metro is a reliable choice for a good breakfast with plenty of options and consistent quality. Today we sat outside as the morning was beautiful, but the service was not quite as good as you get inside. I don't like the coffee they serve here, so I always get iced tea. The breakfast bowl was good but the roasted tomatoes were not, they were just cold and raw. My husband ate all his chicken and waffle and said it was excellent. He also drinks their coffee.

Great for breakfast but expect a wait during peak times. Fried chicken and waffles are awesome. Coffee needs improvement and service can be stretched when busy and booths designed for short stays! Food is consistent which I like.

A family of four came for a Saturday breakfast. We weren't too impressed with the atmosphere - our booth was grimy, and the menus were falling apart and greasy. The server was friendly, but we felt rushed. The coffee was weak. OJ tasted watered down. Our breakfasts were very good, though. Kids cleaned their plates, as did us. Hope they work on the details.

Review by Steven, Palm Coast 12/10/20244.0Food:Service:Atmosphere:
The food was mostly good but one of us were served a cold breakfast and my Huevos Rancheros barely had any salsa and was far from authentic. My wife had a Benny which she thought was excellent, and our friend liked his bowl, but the other friend's Waffles were stone cold and wouldn't melt the butter. Our server was OK but I think was overstretched. The atmosphere is more for practicality than ambiance.

Old school diner type place with breakfast all day and some good dinner options too. The pulled pork waffle is an odd concoction but it works and love the fried cheese curds. Service can be hit or miss and car park is horrible.

We were without power from Milton so grateful Metro was open to feed us. Had a great and sympathetic server and our breakfasts really went down a treat. First hot meal in a few days so tasted extra special - maybe on a normal day not so much but today was fantastic. It was busy but the food came out quickly which was welcomed by impatient kids entow.

My family loves going to Metro for breakfast and dinner, but I honestly don't care for it too much... it's just not to my liking, but they enjoy it and that's what matters. I get by with pancakes or a burger which are usually OK.

It gets busy here and then I don't like the atmosphere or service... kind of feels like you're rushed and part of a factory line, plus the food seems like it's cooked in haste. So now when it's busy we just go elsewhere. But when it's quiet we enjoy it and the food and service are much better.

Many people recommended Metro for breakfast to us but we found it disappointing. It's a busy place and not the most relaxing. The breakfast potatoes were greasy and overcooked, and eggs not as requested. My bacon was rubbery and the toast was cold. My sister had the Avo Toast which was underseasoned. It looks like a lot of people enjoy Metro but it's just not our style I guess!

Metro Diner in Palm Coast offers a wide breakfast menu with reliable, mostly well-cooked dishes like fried chicken and waffles, breakfast burgers, scrambles, and benedicts. Families appreciate the ample portions and kid-friendly pancakes and French toast. Coffee receives mixed reviews, with some preferring iced tea. Service is generally good, especially inside, though it can feel rushed or inconsistent during busy times. The atmosphere tends toward practical but shows signs of wear, like dingy booths and aging menus. Dinner options receive less praise, with some salty dishes and slower service. Outdoor seating appeals to some diners, though the experience varies. Prices remain moderate, making Metro a practical choice for hearty breakfast meals in the area.
