I hope I visited on an off day for them as the service sucked! The hostess just ignored us and once we were finally acknowledged and seated, our waitress had an attitude too and seemed irritated with us asking questions. Our breakfasts were alright but you can definitely find better in Flagler Beach like at Sammy J's, Hi Tulip, Java Joint or Oceanside. The decor is fun and if they had great service and was welcoming we would probably have enjoyed the food more,

I have been here several times and it never disappoints! Food is great! Cooked to order! Staff is great! Love the decor, even the bathroom has beach vibes!! Hope it stays a local favorite!!
Highlight of visit: I can’t eat huge portions of food, so when they tell me I can specify exactly how much and how it is cooked, I thank them so much!!!

We like the community atmosphere here and its warm hospitality. The food is very dependable and delicious, with a large menu to please everyone. For a true FB local experience you have to try Friends.

A friendly and homey place with some good food. The waffles were great, bacon crispy, and the eggs were cooked as I ordered. My friend enjoyed his Spanish omelet. The coffee was okay and could have been stronger. Overall a tasty, filling and inexpensive breakfast.

After not being here for a while I'm sorry to say we did not have a good visit here today. The service was not good and we did not feel very welcome, and the food was very average at best. So disappointing! Not sure what's happened but it used to be a friendly spot with much better food. Maybe an off day so I will give them another few months before I try again.

Review by David, Palm Coast 2/7/20264.0Food:Service:Atmosphere:
A friend and me had breakfast here this morning which was hoot and miss. She had a benedict which she loved, and I had the sausage and gravey which I wasn't too impressed with. The gravy was too floury and the sausage was hard to find. Potatoes were good and eggs were cooked as ordered. Coffee could have been fresher, but the second cup was better. Our server appeared a little overwhelmed but did a great job.

The place lives up to its name as it is friendly but the inside is a little cluttered. The food was good and my omelet was tasty and definitely worth the price. My daughter had a bagel with egg, cheese and avocado which she liked. Coffee wasn't the best but it did the job. We would come back here next time in town.

Friend's is where you'll find the best breakfasts in Flagler Beach. Almost everything is made from scratch... biscuits are so good and the gravy is outstanding! The hollandaise sauce on the benedicts is made in house and is delicious. Servers are so kind and friendly. This is family homestyle cooking and hospitality at its best.

Friend's is a great no frills diner type cafe with good wholesome and filling food. I like the omelets and French toast here. Visit often and occasionally it looks like they're busy and could be understaffed, but the quality of the food doesn't go down and is always cooked just right.

Review by Jasper, NJ 8/21/20253.5.0Food:Service:Atmosphere:
I am currently staying in Flagler Beach and eating breakfast out each day. Friend's Cafe was recommended to me, and I went there on the first day. It's a place with a lot of local character, both in decor and people, and a menu loaded with breakfast staples and a few in-house specialities. I went with my breakfast favorite, Eggs Benedict, which was quite good, but the hollandaise did not taste homemade, and the homefries were way overcooked. The server was friendly but did seem rushed. I left full and their prices are very reasonable, but to be honest, this was a very average Eggs Benedict.

Saw this place one day and went home to look at the reviews. They were great, so I went to eat breakfast there. Cute little place inside. The pancakes were the ABSOLUTE BEST that I’ve ever had!!! Fluffy, tasty and delicious!!! Can’t wait to go back!!!

First time having breakfast here this morning and we found it a fun place. It has that nostalgic hometown diner feel about it with friendly service and very hearty food. They make good biscuits and they know how to cook eggs right. The menu has something for everyone and their prices are very good for today's market. Our only complaint is that they need to turn the A/C up more as it was hot inside there.

The name about says it all! Very friendly and close to the beach. Fun kitschy decor with a good homestyle comfort food menu. Been here many times and the food is consistent. Omelets are eggselent especially the okey dokie artychockie. I drive here from Palm Coast as it's worth it. Go see them for yourselves, you'll like it.

A very homey place with homestyle food. Lady serving was nice and food arrived quickly. Breakfast burrito was seriously loaded and tasted good, but did not have any Mex type of seating. The French toast croissant was a good twist and my wife enjoyed it. Coffee was decent and the homefries are good. Friends has all your basic diner type foods with a few of their own touches added, and it has quite a fun and cozy vibe inside.

This is a quirky place with fun decor, and our server was terrific. Our breakfast tasted fine but could have been warmer... it felt like it had been sitting at the pass for a while. We did enjoy it here though and would definitely come back again.

I often meet up with a friend here for breakfast. It's laid-back and they never rush us. Their breakfasts are very good. The atmosphere is quirky and homey and the servers are friendly. I usually get their Giant Waffle Special which is great value for money. Their Biscuits and Gravy are very good too.

Friend's Cafe in Flagler Beach offers a nostalgic, diner-style breakfast with a large, varied menu focused on homemade, hearty dishes. Guests praise the fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon, well-cooked eggs, and scratch-made biscuits and gravy. Specialty dishes like eggs Benedict receive mixed feedback, with some noting homemade hollandaise while others find it average. The atmosphere showcases local character with fun, beach-themed decor, though some find the space a bit cluttered or warm. Service is generally friendly and attentive, though occasional understaffing can lead to slower or less engaged interactions. Coffee quality varies, often described as adequate but not exceptional. Prices remain affordable, making it a good option for filling, casual meals. Overall, Friend's Cafe provides a familiar and homey dining experience with some inconsistencies in service and certain menu items.
