Ruby Tuesday PERMANENTLY CLOSED

This wasn't their night. Ordered the Cheddar Prime burger. Asked for it to be cooked Medium. At best, it was medium well really bordering on well done. I am not in the habit of sending food back, but when a member lf the staff came to the tables to bring refills, one was spilled on the table, one of our party's food, and lastly in the lap of one of the guests.. Had to ask them to remake the Cajun pasta that had soda spilled in it. Poor busboy.... was his first night. Management came over and apologized. Waiter had already told management that burger was overdone. The manager said he would get the redo on the pasta and the burger out in 4 minutes. Second burger came out about 10 minutes later, also Medium Well. Not happy. Management comp the pasta dish and the burger and gave us free cupcakes. Like I said before, not their night.

This place has become very tired. The atmosphere is dull and rank. Had to wait a while for someone to come out to greet and seat us even though it was not busy. Menus were tattered and torn and mine was barely held together. Salad bar was OK but pasta and potato salads lacked any flavor or seasoning. Our sandwiches were mushy and again lacked flavor. Drinking water tasted terrible! Our server was cheerful and efficient. Overall a very pitiful dining experience and it's disappointing to see a once reasonable restaurant become so bad.

Got sucked in by the free salad bar with one of 30 entrees staring at $9.95. What they don't tell you is that it does not apply to hamburger entrees even though some are over the required minimum. Food was not that great and salad bar very basic. Complained to corporate and never even got the courtesy of a response. Will never go back.

We had stayed away a long time due to an odd atmosphere in the bar. The help breaks in the bar, yes they take their breaks in the bar and stare at customers. We tried it the other day again and it was pretty good for what it is. I think it's time for a chainwide upgrade of decor and some healthier menu items. But for Palm Coast, it was ok. Oh, we sat in the dining room this time.

Went back the other night to try there so called "new" menu and the food was cold, service was slow, will never return to this place. I also complained about the food and the waiter offered me a free dessert, no thanks! I did not see a manager on duty walking the floor once! I wish Applebee's would take its place!

By choice, we decided not to visit this restaurant for a long time. On a previous experience, i ordered steak and it was fatty, grizzled and overcooked. After not being herefor years, we tried it again. The food was far superior and enjoyable. Service was great, salad bar decent. The atmosphere has...changed. I cannot put my finger on it, but Ruby Tuesday's seems to be suffering an identity crisis. Indeed, the food is great. The service is awesome. But what used to be a popular hangout for the young crowd has changed into a strangely hipper version of Bob Evans. It is even difficult to tell whether they are trying to shed their "TGIFridays motif" for something more refined? The parking lot used to be packed to the gills...now not so much.

Either way, I would recommend this place. Order the steak! I was pleasantly surprised in a good way this time around!

My wife and I went to Ruby Tuesday's when they first opened. The service was horrible and the food was horrible as well. We said we would never go back. We both decided to give it another try last week. Well, boy what a difference a few years make. Service was outstanding and the food was fantastic. We will be going back as a regular now.

Nice atmosphere in here and food is good but service let's it down. Went for lunch and as much as our server was nice it still took over an hour for a turkey sandwich and bowl of soup! With an hour for lunch it's not possible to eat in here and get back in time. It wasn't very busy either! Also, server charged us double which was corrected.

I like to go to Ruby Tuesdays when I am in the mood for seafood. The New Orleans Seafood is very good and not a huge serving. I love their mashed cauliflower as well. I have never had any kind of problem there but I think they may be a little understaffed at times. We had to wait 20 minutes because they didn't have enough waitstaff to serve their patrons even though there were empty tables.

In the past year we have visited Ruby Tuesday at least 6 times and have always found it to be a pleasant experience. The atmosphere, food and service is very good and prices are reasonable. We particularly like the selection on the salad bar which has always been well stocked and kept clean. Specials are always available at sensible prices and we will definitely return.

Visited in the hope of improved service since last experience. Although much better, there is still room for improvement. Our server, Annette, was initially good, but would disappear for long periods. Had to eat entire entree without a drink as she couldn't be found. Salad bar was clean and well stocked and food was good. Prices for the lunch combo deals are good value. Will go back but service is what makes or breaks this place.

If you haven't been here in a year or two, try it again! Some of the other posters here had similar experiences as I did with really bad service and awful food. But all that seems to be behind them now and they've finally got control of their staff. My last visit was a great experience... I took my mom for lunch who had a tilapia dish and I had one with chicken and spinach. Both meals were delicious and service was great. I had the salad bar which was good but I was too full to get much value from it. I'm glad this restaurant is back on track and I hope it stays that way.

It's amazing the difference service makes to a dining experience. I had written this restaurant off due to such terrible service on my last few visits. However, my wife really wanted to go for their salad bar and I reluctantly agreed. And I'm glad I did! We were seated immediately and our server came over very eager to please. She was extremely pleasant, communicative, and very efficient. The food was good although portions seemed a little smaller, especially the soup, and prices were on the cusp of being high. Hopefully this server is an example of all staff their now and management finally has control over customer service.

My husband and I ate here last night and the food was great. He had the Trout and I had the Chicken with BBQ sauce. It was delicious. Their baked macaroni is "the best" We always ask for "Tweety" and she is absolutely delightful and very efficient.

Before going to the dining room we had a drink at the bar and Jamie was friendly and efficient.

I only wish they would bring back the coleslaw with blue cheese dressing. It was awesome and nobody else had it.

Was there for lunch, waiter was efficient but spread too thin. The wait from the kitchen was so bad that the waiter gave us a free salad bar. The appetizer finally showed up after completing the salad bar.The food was good for both parties present,cooked just right. The manager was very sorry for the service, but had just come on. Looks like the kitchen is under staffed. Too bad.

What a let down! Service was rude, slow and almost non existent! Food was OK but completely spoiled by the appalling service. This place needs a manager that know how to manage staff and customer relations.

I will always love the salad bar and their food is good; but their service is downright negligent. We waited 20 minutes from the time the waitress cleared our table to the time I had to get up to ask for our check. It will be a long time before I return.

Today was my final visit to Palm Coast's Ruby Tuesday's. The food is good but the very bad service and attitude of staff don't make it good enough to come back for. It seems like no one is managing this restaurant! The service is incredibly slow, very nonchalant, they stand around chatting and act like we (customers) are an inconvenience. At lunch today other diners around me were complaining about the service too! There's clearly a problem here and I'm sure it starts with management. There are many other restaurants in Palm Coast that offer professional service and make you feel appreciated.

They just can't seem to get a handle on the service here. The hostess was very nice and welcoming and seated us straight away, but then it took forever for anyone else to arrive. Finally a manger came over can began to take our order followed by a server. After that the service was good and the food was excellent. It just seems that when a dining experience starts off on the wrong foot it never really corrects itself. Judging by other comments on here, whatever system they have here isn't working too well.

Food here is good and has definitely become more varied and interesting. However, the service is awful! Today at lunch we were seated then forgotten about. We had limited time as we were on a work lunch break and waited nearly 15 minutes for anyone to come by. Other servers walked by us but offered no assistance. When "our" server, Donna, finally arrived, we expressed our displeasure but was never offered any kind of apology. She took our order and it still took over 5 minutes to get our drinks. Our food was delivered by someone else and not until we had completed our meal did Donna return to check on us. The restaurant was not very busy and from the future, it will be less busy as we will not return for lunch.
