Review of Kendall's Bagels by Restaurant Man from Palm Coast
Sitting in here now just finishing breakfast after receiving good service at the order line. Got a ham egg and cheese bagel and my fiance got a western omelet, and both are very good. The ham is Taylors which is nice. Coffee is fresh and hot.

Loved the bagels and the cream cheese had good flavor, but the staff need to work on being more friendly and polite. Young lady serving was being very curt with everyone. Their bagels are really good though.

Skip DDs and come here instead! Bagels and staff are so much better. Great cream cheese and bagels are nice and fresh. Good coffee too. Easy access and parking without the hassle you get at DDs.

The line to order was painfully slow, partly because of the other customers being indecisive and for the staff moving slowly. However, the bagels were very good and loved the cream cheeses. It would be great if they had some kind of online ordering system. That would seed things along much better.

I used to go to the Sub Base for my morning bagel but they have been going downhill, so I come here now and much prefer their bagels with better choices and more schmears. Good coffee too and the atmosphere is nice and always clean. Service is not always very happy, though, and on the last visit I didn't even get a greeting, just a stare.

Kendall's is the best place in Palm Coast for bagels. Reasonable prices and generous with the schmear. They do a good Reben too! Good service and the restaurant is nice and clean.

I was surprised how busy it was in here but we got served quickly and my bagel with egg, cheese and pastrami was very good. Got another everything bagels with lox schmear to go and that was just as good and fresh. Clean enforcement and friendly staff. A nice deli place to visit.

Just ran in for a bagel. It's nice and bright and more modern than I expected inside but the staff could be a bit more friendly. My bagel was very good... fresh and smear was tasty. Prices are good and there's tons of parking out front.

Good little breakfast and lunch spot. Salt bagel with egg, cheese and pastrami was delicious and their sandwiches for lunch are very good too. Very reasonable prices and clean.

I wanted a Taylor Ham (pork roll) sandwich which I usually get from a great deli on route 1. Since I was heading East and not west I called Kendall’s Bagels and ordered a Taylor Ham (pork roll) sandwich with cheese and NO egg. I was in a hurry to get to an appointment so I picked it up and opened it while driving to my next destination. Much to my surprise there was only 1 thin slice of meat on the sandwich. I would venture to say that it was probably less than a half ounce of meat and I am being generous with this evaluation.
Later in the day I went back to speak to the employee who gave me the sandwich. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the product she kept telling me that it was a training issue. I asked to speak to the owner. This employee stated that she was the manager and said that it was a training issue with a new employee. She stated that when a pork roll sandwich is ordered they are supposed to ask how many slices of meat the customer wants.
Never in my 4 decades in the F&B business have I ever known a place to not have a standard as to how they make their sandwiches. What good does it do to put a price on a product when the amount of the product is yet to be determined.
Let me say that I am a NJ native who has been in Flagler county for 25 plus years. It is great that I can get this product here. I will also say that I have been very happy with Kendall’s Bagels every time I have been there prior to this experience.
Not only does the new employee need training but so does the so called manager. She made no effort to offer an apology but continued to blame it on a “training issue”. Well if she is a good manager then she is the one responsible for TRAINING.
I will at some point talk to the owner as I am a true believer in letting a business owner know when something went wrong.

Stop here often to take breakfast to the office. Classy little place. Bagels are excellent and the smears are tasty. I'd like to see more flavors but what they have are very good. Service is first class and a nice environment.

Clean and friendly environment with an excellent variety of bagels and cheeses. Great coffee as well. Plenty of other good menu choices too. Best reuben in Palm Coast! Everything tastes great and customer service is awesome.

A cute and very friendly place. Staff are so nice and their bagels are excellent with a good selection of smears. Also like their wraps too. If you haven't tried Kendal's yet I highly recommend you do.
