Great place! I like the firecracker shrimp and fried rice, but they have Asian cuisine for every taste! read more!
Review of Mamaling by Bob from Palm Coast
Our first visit to Mamaling and the food was much better than expected... thought it was just another Asian fusion type place but the food is much better, and more like Asian classics with their own twist. We had a selection of the small plates which were all delicious with the standout for me being the mini tacos. I had the drunken noodles large plate which was really good with plenty of flavor, and my friend had beef pho and loved it. Service was efficient and attentive but not a smile in the house. Tap at the table to pay which I like. Atmopshere is good for what it is.
Highlight of visit: The mini tacos and firecracker shrimp small plates. Both entrees very good.

Mamaling isn't the most authentic Asian food and kind of Americanized, but you still get an excellent meal there. I like the atmosphere and service is good. Not the original owners anymore but everything is the same.

The food was amazing but the service was not great. Had the steamed buns and brussels to start which were both amazing, and the pork ramen main was really tasty. Good atmosphere but lights need dimming.

Dinner was amazing and everything was delicious! They have a great selection of small plates and all are awesome, and my roast pork ramen was very rich and full of flavor. We weren't impressed with the service though. Our server just didn't have it together, wasn't very attentive, and lacked customer service skills. But our meal was great and we'll be back.

It was my first time here under the new ownership and I didn't notice any difference with the food and the menu looked the same, and everything was delicious. One difference was with the hospitality which wasn't as warm and friendly. Mamaling used to come around the tables chatting and ensuring everyone is happy, but all you get now is a "enjoy your dinner" when seated. Our server lacked enthusiasm. Still the food was great, just not the dining experience it used to be.

We had been wanting to try Mamaling for a long time and finally went last weekend. The lady greeting and seating us was nice but our waiter must have been new as we were very forgetful and had no personality. The inside is nice, but the 80s rock music altered the ambiance. However, the food was excellent! The broths and gravies had great flavor, the Szechuan tacos were really good, and the green curry was delicious and the best I've had. The only minor criticism of the food is that the Brussels sprouts could have been cooked longer as they were a bit too hard, but they did taste great. I'm sure once the waiter has more knowledge and confidence he'll improve, and if they can find some more appropriate music, this would be an incredible restaurant.
Highlight of visit: The green curry and the Szechuan tacos were the highlights for me but everything was delicious.

Mamaling is such a fantastic restaurant with absolutely delicious food and outstanding service. From the greeter to the servers, everyone was so gracious and friendly. The menu has a nice mix of Asian dishes that are more elevated than you'll find in other Palm Coast Asian restaurants. The Clay Pot pork dish is amazing 😋 and the chili sauce condiment that they serve should be sold in jars. The dining room is causal but has a nice 'zen' type feel about it. Well recommended!

Mamaling is a big town type restaurant in a small town that is very professionally run and has some amazing food. I had the sea bass with sweet chili and basil, and we shared some small plates, and everything was incredibly delicious. The sea bass is a top star dish! It was busy but the staff took care of everyone.

I like how Mamaling feels very Asian with a bustling atmosphere and busy servers doing a great job. And of course, the food here is AMAZING! It's more sophisticated than Asian restaurants in Palm Coast and the food pretty much spans Southeast Asia. We eat like an emperor here and always get a selection of the small plates plus an entree each!
Highlight of visit: Everything on the menu is delicious but my favorites are the firecracker shrimp, the sticky ribs, the steamed buns, lemongrass coconut curry, and the pork ramen.

Wow! What a great meal! I was treated to an early Father's Day dinner here and it was one of the best meals I've had out for a long time. We shared some small plates and then I had a coconut lemongrass and shrimp curry which was so flavorful. Service all night was excellent and the owner came by to chat which was a nice touch. I never knew a place like Mamaling existed in Palm Coast.

We heard that Mamaling has new owners but they haven't dropped a beat... dinner this evening was spot on with the same wonderful service and super tasty food. They staff make you feel special and we like the atmosphere. Most dishes may seem familiar to Asian food fans but Mamaling elevates them and adds much more flavor. Best to see for yourselves.

I'm a creature of habit and always get the pork dumplings to start and the roast pork ramen as my main plus a bottle or two of Sapporo. This meal takes me right back to my time in Japan sitting in shokudos eating the same. Very reminiscent and delicious.

I love that Mamaling has now veganized several of its dishes and the ones I've had so far are very delicious. Many more options here now for us veg heads and I couldn't be happier. You always receive professional service here and the atmosphere is lovely.
Highlight of visit: Small plates like the tofu steamed buns and Brussels sprouts are very good and the lemongrass coconut curry with tofu and honey orange tofu are amazing. Plus my old favorite zen ramen is always a great choice.

Very good and unique food especially by Palm Coast standards. They have some amazing dishes here and the service is very professional, and Mamaling often stops at our table to say hi. Good atmosphere. They aim to please here and very professionally operated.

This is a very well run restaurant with a good selection of Asian dishes. We have been here a few times now and every dish we've had has been excellent. Service has been really good and the lady of the house always stops for a chat. This almost feels out of place for Palm Coast but grateful it is here.

Simply the best service and attention and the food is absolutely delicious. This is mixed Asian food from across Southeast Asia and after 3 or 4 visits we were welcomed with open arms and on each visit we had different dishes which each got better. Great restaurants are more about just food, they personify hospitality, gratitude, and passion for sharing and feeding. Mamaling achieves all of this.

I really love the food here but to be honest I stopped coming here because I am bored with the menu as it hasn't changed since they opened! I have my favorites here but it would be nice to have something new to try. So, I go elsewhere. But for newbies this is an amazing spot for Asian fusion food and you won't find better service in Palm Coast.

Visited last night for dinner and was very impressed! Mamaling should be at least in everyone's top 5 list for Palm Coast dining. The service is very attentive and the ambiance is sophisticated yet casual. The food is superb! They manage to extract some wonderful flavors with plenty of amazing umami, and they have just the right cross of textures... The Sticky Ribs, for example, are nice and crispy on the outside but very tender inside, with a delicious sticky sauce. The Roasted Brussels Sprouts are firm and very tasty and the Egg Rolls come with an amazing sauce. The Adobo Clay Pot is a melting pot of flavors and they make the best Coconut Curry around. Don't take my word for how good Mamaling is, try for yourself.
Highlight of visit: The Sticky Ribs, Roasted Brussels Sprouts, the Pork Adobo Clay Pot and the Lemongrass Coconut Curry are all outstanding dishes.
