Hammock Grill by JT's CLAIMED

Hammock Grill is one of Palm Coast's better restaurants and our favorite for date nights. The menu is varied enough to visit often, especially with weekly specials, and the outside is nice on warm nights. Many of the staff have been working here for years. They have some good housemade relishes, chutneys, etc. which raise the dishes.

Tonight we had a family reunion dinner here. It was comfortable sitting outside and the staff kindly shoved two tables together to accommodate our group. I heard glowing reports from everyone about their entrees. The fresh fish and chips of the evening was flounder. Every bite was devoured. I chose the panko shrimp and found them lightly fried perfectly! I absolutely loved the balsamic glazed Brussels sprouts. Best I’ve ever eaten! I highly recommend this restaurant!

This restaurant remains one of our favorites as they not only have a great menu, but we look forward to their weekly specials, which are always the best, and not just in value, but are very creative and appealing. We've enjoyed all the food here and the drinks are very good too. Staff are welcoming and attentive, and both the indoor and outdoor areas are very enjoyable.

Highlight of visit: Look for the specials. They really are special.

We visited last week for Valentine's, and although the dinner and drinks were excellent, the highlight for us was the desserts, especially the espresso creme brulee. Our server was wonderful and they set the atmosphere inside just right.

Great nachos and wings. Chimichurri on the nachos works really well. Good flavored wings. Beers and drinks went down a treat. Good service and cool atmosphere.

We shared a mahi appetizer which was excellent and came with a delicious dipping sauce, and I had a burger and my wife a salmon wrap, both very tasty. They were slow coming from the kitchen but our server was very nice and kept us updated. We sat in the front by the windows and enjoyed the atmosphere.

The food here is very flavorful. The crab dip and Minorcan gumbo were delicious, and the pork chop was juicy and nicely seasoned. They also have some good looking cocktails but I was driving. Their service is professional and the restaurant has a relaxing feel about it.

I recommend the grilled fish sandwich which had large pieces and a tasty remoulade. Fries were very good and it all went down well with a cold beer. Cocktails looked good but driving so had to pass. Customer service was attentive and friendly and the place is nice inside.

First time here since the management change and renovations, and the difference is night and day. Everything tasted great and was much fresher, and they have some good specials. Our server was very attentive, and the bar drinks are more of a focus now. I flike us you weren't so impressed with the old JT's, I highly recommend trying the new one as it's like a different restaurant.

I had a business lunch here and only chose JT's as it was the most visible in that area for my client to find. We were seated at a good table, which was quiet with plenty of space. The waitress picked up on us being in a deep conversation and minimized her interactions without sacrificing good service - very professional of her. The food was excellent and I was really impressed with a tuna onigiri starter. I will return with friends so I can drink and focus more on the food, as the menu has many tempting dishes.

This place is quite sprawling out back with outdoor and patio tables. Our server was terrific and we really liked our food. I had a special BLT with tuna that rocked! and my friend went with a grilled cheese with pulled pork which he said was unique and tasty, and we had a cocktail each that were very good. It's in the Hammock so we don't get to come that way often but we'd definitely visit again.

We were a little apprehensive at first by seeing the outside but the inside is much more welcoming and the greeter and staff were very friendly. The menu has a mix of the usual dishes with some Southern items too like Jambalaya, grits, and catfish with collard greens, plus a couple specials, one of which I had, a chicken dish and it was a good choice. My wife had pasta and said it was excellent. We don’t come to the Hammock area often but now we have an excuse to visit more often.

I had the double smashed burger and the Gourmet mac & cheese and I was surprised how good both were. The burger was Angus beef with the usual toppings but the caramelized onions were a good addition and their house shack sauce is superb. The mac & cheese is elevated with a silky cheese sauce using aged cheddar and a nice crunchy breadcrumb topping. This was a perfect comfort meal for me and it went down a treat.

The stuffed flounder was excellent and came with a delicious wine sauce. My husband really liked the Jambalaya and we were both impressed with the drink creations from the bar. The customer service here is friendly and we were treated very well. JT's is the kind of place you can be a regular and be remembered each time you visit.

The last time I stayed here this location was not so good, but they've had a revamp with new owner and it's much improved. Staff are professional and the atmosphere is more fresh and appealing. My tuna dish was excellent which had a tasty sauce, and the Brussels sprouts were outstanding. The cocktail was good but too sweet for me. My wife loved it though. We'll definitely stop by again the next trip here.

Top scores for the food and service. Everything was fresh and delicious and even our picky son ate every bite of his smash burger. Our waitress was very attentive and kept our drinks filled. The band were very good and we liked the atmosphere. We don't come over to the Hammock very often but now we have an excuse to do so more often.

My wife and I visted JT's for dinner and we both had special menu items which were excellent. I had a NY Strip dish and my wife a snapper dish, and both were elevated and delicious. My wife really liked the sauce on the snapper and everything on both our meals was cooked to perfection. Our first time here and we left with a great impression, and we look forward to returning.

We expected it to have more seafood, but we enjoyed the food nonetheless. The bartender was great and the shrimp and grits were excellent. My partner had the catfish platter and said it was good. Drinks were awesome. Good atmosphere and nice area outside.

Driven past this restaurant many times and finally stopped in for lunch. All of the staff were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant has a nice feel about it. We were happy with our meals and I found the blackening seasoning to be just right while still being able to taste the fish. My friend liked the Jambalaya and we both had a good cocktail.

Have had 2 great meals there recently and the fresh fish has been delicious both times. Love the live music and the staff is very attentive. We really enjoyed our bartender Cathy!! We look forward to coming back and having her serve us again!! Great experience!.

Highlight of visit: absolutely will be back to see Cathy! loved the mahi mahi, so fresh.
