Best breakfast and views at the beach!! Vibe awesome and staff cool and friendly. Shrimp & Grits are killer and better half loves the Breakfast Flatbread. Their version of Bloody Marys are amazing with shrimp, cheese and Slim Jims... sounds weird but it works very well. Wish I could have this every day!

They have the best viewing deck in Flagler Beach which is large with unrestricted views. Fun place to eat and drink and watch the beach goers. Many delicious items on the menu but I favor the Caribbean Combo with Mahi Mahi. Drinks are also awesome and I recommend the Funked Up Mary which is a bit pricey but is quite a slow drink. Service can be lacking sometimes and funny enough usually worse during slower times.

Love the food and location but the service needs some work. Been here many times and yet to experience good service. Either long waits to get seen or attended to, drinks and food take forever, server in a pissy mood or wants to talk politics more than take our order, one we asked to speak with a manager and I'm convinced she just got a friend to come over and talk to us!!! BUT the food is good and we like sitting outside here with the views. This is not like Finns or Golden Lion where you're hundreds of feet away and across the street from the beach, here' you're right on it, so you can really smell and taste that sea air! Makes everything so much better.

Our server was over opinionated and negative really ruined the meal, which was a shame because the food and setting were both top notch. She made us feel uneasy and we would go again but will request another server if we got her again.

All the other restaurants along the A1A in FB claim to be beachfront but this the only one that truly is!! The location is fantastic and you get the best views here without sitting on a tight roof. Food is amazing and we come for lunch most weekends. Service can sometimes be not so good but no complaints on anything else.

Had to wait for a table but was well worth it for the amazing view and delicious food. Our party of 5 all raved about their breakfasts and the Mimosas and Funked Up Mary's were so good. My Crab Cake Benedict was excellent our server was really on the ball. Could not find fault in our experience here and can't wait to return.

Incredible ocean views and love sitting outside at dusk. Food is delicious and drinks are awesome. The Poke Salmon Tower is amazing and the Caribbean Combo is soooooooo good. Really good mixed drinks and make sure you try their Orange Creamsicle specialty. One of Flagler's best restaurants hands down!

Highlight of visit: Poke Salmon Tower - Can't get enough!

Always have a good time here with its fun atmosphere and great views. Nice to watch surfers and beach goers as you dine. The Shrimp and Grits and the Jambalaya are awesome and their cocktails can be really over the top but all have tasted good. We've never had a bad meal or service here and we visit often.

Highlight of visit: Maddie's Shrimp and Grits

Been a few times and always like the food and love the views and setting. Service is on or off though. Wife loves their salads and I like their Fish Mac sandwich. Good mixed drinks and cold beers.

One of only a couple of restaurants in Flagler that are actually oceanfront. The atmosphere is fun and the food is quite good. The Twisted Mac & Cheese is awesome and well worth trying! Service friendly but can be slow some days but who cares when you have that view!

Went here with another couple. The view of the ocean is nice, but the service ? Not here. We waited for about a half hour and no one showed up... we then decided to cut our losses and depart... never to return.

I have eaten here a few time but last night I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. I love sitting on the deck and the wait staff were awesome. But the food was dry and over cooked. If I have to be honest the food isn't worth the price. We had the gator bite and calamari for appetizers. It was OK. I wouldn't have it again. While my kids had the chicken tenderloins, I had the Caribbean Combo and I do not recommend it. The fish was dry and over cooked along with the shrimp. I personal wouldn't not return here anytime soon. I think their are better restaurants on the beach side.

I've been coming to the Funky Pelican restaurant (previously The Pier restaurant) in Flagler Beach for breakfast every year for almost 10 years now. We love the ocean view and enjoy watching the surfers in action. Today’s visit has changed that tradition. I won’t be back. We checked in to breakfast at 10:15. we waited to be seated for over 20 minutes. Once seated, we waited over 20 minutes before a waitress came and took our order. Then we waited for almost another 20 minutes until we got our food. It was a little crowded, but there were 5 empty tables inside and more outside on the deck. When we received our food, they didn’t bring my hashbrowns with my meal and it took me 10 minutes to flag down my waitress for me to ask for my hashbrowns. They were served quickly after that however, they were cold. Eric and Heather‘s toast was burnt on one side and they didn’t want to complain but I said something to the waitress. she said “oh it’s not burn, it’s just what it looks like when it comes off the grill”. Huh? It wasn’t mine but if it was I would’ve been scraping off all the black that was on one side of the toast. either that or ask for a new piece of bread.

My wife and I went here recently for Dinner. We sat down and about thirty minutes later we left. Never got served! Never ordered food so I can not review the menu. BUT I know one thing for sure... the service is horrible! Will I return? Not Likely!

Highlight of visit: Never Got served... Oh wait.. we did get water.

You can't better the view here which is especially enhanced with a nice breeze on a beautiful day. Plus the smell of the ocean definitely increases your appetite! We really like the food here for breakfast but other times we find it about average. But they do have a good variety on the menu and portion sizes generous. Drinks are always good. They have a fun theme and service is friendly. Just make sure you sit outside.

Highlight of visit: Breakfast is excellent.

The views are the main reason to dine here with by far the best restaurant location in Flagler Beach, but the food is quite good too. We have been several times and breakfast is by far their best meal of the day and we've never had a bad one. For lunch and dinner (and in between) we've had a couple of disappointments and the mixed drinks have been a let down sometimes, however there's also been some real hits and service has always been great. There can be a wait but order a drink and enjoy the view until your table is ready.

Unbelievable!!! The bartender tried to double charge me for my drink. Since my friend was there and saw me pick up the change, including coinage, she insisted that money was from the man sitting there before me. My friend and I arrived to a clean bar. There was no money or tab on the counter. I offered to pay again if it was that big of a deal since it was 4th of July and I didn't want to create a scene. Instead, they got the manager... who said that, to my relief, they had video tape of the bar. After waiting about 15 minutes, the manager came out and said, I'm going to have to ask you to leave and the cops were there to escort me. Really? I asked the cop what this was all about and he told me that the manager stated he had asked me to leave and he did not. The scum bags lied to the cops. I don't know what kind of scam that they are running here, but I will be seeing them in court. Their kitchen guy came out of the back door and was disgusted at the way I was treated and 3 other people who had witnessed this scam, approached us later at Finn's with equal disbelief. I'm not letting this one slide.

A late lunch at the Funky Pelican two Saturday's in a row. Good service both times. The burger and mahi mahi fish tacos were good. The Parmesan shrimp were a little heavy on the sauce. You cannot beat the view from the deck on a warm sunny afternoon. Be careful to take the hostess' advice if the no-see-ums are in the area.

A friendly place with a great ocean view whether from inside or on the deck. Great service and in my (humble) opinion the best fried shrimp and fish in the Palm Coast area. I have only lived in Palm Coast for 7 months but have dedicated myself to sampling all of the local cuisine with emphasis on sea food and so far the Funky Pelican is number one on my list. Casual dining with a great ocean view, add good food and cold beer and the Funky Pelican is hard to beat.
