We sat inside as it was chilly, although some were braver than us and sat in the courtyard. The bar area was busy and the atmosphere lively. Our server was terrific, and we ordered the Avocado Egg Rolls and Pierogis as appetizers - both were excellent. I went with Chicken Tacos and added the upgrade, which definitely elevates them, and my husband had the Blue Ribbon Burger - great choices and we loved every bite. Drinks were wonderful and we weren't rushed, which we appreciated as we were enjoying being out.

Just ate a great burger here but my wife didn't like her crabcake sandwich saying it was mushy and too "old bayish". The fries and coleslaw were good and the cocktails weren't bad. Our server was awesome.

The friendly young lady who took care of us couldn't have been better, and we thought the food was delicious and very well prepared. The scallops were superb and I loved the bisque. We first went inside but it dark and not very inviting, but the outside was lovely.

Turtle Shack seems to be adjusting well to the Euro Village now. We went when they first opened here and it wasn't too great, but last two visits have been excellent. We always get our two favorite starters here, the Bacon Bleu Chips and the Calamari with Peppers, which were as good as always. My husband loves their tacaos and usually gets them with Jerk Grouper with the upgrade option which he says takes them to another level. I like their Crab Cakes, either as an entrée or a sandwich, and I have to get a side of the Pineapple Coleslaw which is so good. Turtle Shack trains their staff well and we enjoy sitting outside at the Euro Village. We haven't been inside yet. We also drove past their beach location and it doesn't look like they have even started working on it yet, so I assume they will be in Palm Coast for a long time yet, which suits us just fine.

Review by Max, Flagler Beach 9/12/20255.0Food:Service:Atmosphere:
This was our first time at the Turtle Shack in the European Village. It felt like a different restaurant but we had the familiar upbeat service and the food was just as delicious. There weren't many tables inside with most people dining outside which is where we sat, no ocean views here but the plaza is quite nice. The waitress said there was no clear signs of them moving back to Flagler Beach anytime soon.

Great hospitality and fanatsitic service and we had the most delicious meal. Really enjoyed the setting dining out in the courtyard with good music and lively atmosphere. The food was as good as ever and their Sesame Ahi Tuna was fresh and so tasty, and mus husband was very pleased with his Blackened Super Grouper. We always get their Bleu Chips to share and now they have cocktails too 🍹

I havebene to this European Village location a few times now, and the food just doesn't taste as good as it did at the beach. I hope they get back there soon. Today I had the shrimp tacos and they were had very little flavor. The tortillas were like straight from the bag with no heating or grilling. The blue cheese chips were soggy. I think they were short staffed too. I'll wait until they go back to the beach before I visit again.

I like the Turtle Shack's European Village location but it still belongs at the beach in my opinion. Customer service was good and our food was great! The Chicken and Cilantro Lime Linguini is a delicious dish and the Crab Cake is the best you'll find. Loved the remoulade and their homemade chips. So many good things here to order.

Review by Simon, Palm Coast 7/3/20253.5.0Food:Service:Atmosphere:
We had a mixed experience here today. I had the grouper sandwich with jerk seasoning which was awesome, but my wife had the jumbo scallops blackened but the seasoning was very salty and also almost cold. The cilantro rice was good and the pineapple slaw is a nice tropical flavored side. Our waitress was friendly but we felt this local doesn't have the personality as their A1A location. I'm glad it's just temporary.

Review by Jasper, Palm Coast 6/4/20253.0Food:Service:Atmosphere:
While the food was good this location just doesn't suit the "Shack". It's got one of those awful wooden hipster themes that were trendy 10 years ago, plus the service doesn't match what it did at the beach. My burger was good but at the beach it was excellent! My wife's Chicken Linguine didn't have that "taste" it used to have. More like I'd make myself. We'll pause the Turtle Shack until they return to their old location.

We had a great experience at this new location. The food is just as good as at the previous location and our server was fantastic. I love their crab cakes and the sesame ahi tuna, and my husband raves about their triggerfish jerk style. As long as we keep getting food this good and quality service, we’ll keep coming back.

Review by Angela, Palm Coast 5/3/20254.0Food:Service:Atmosphere:
Their temporary location lacks the charm and personality of it's original beach front "shack"., but we still had very good service and our food was tasty. It's hard to explain, but everything tasted too "clean", like it lacked that sea air and the flavors of the old building, pots and pans, etc. It's fine for a temporary spot though and it's keeping staff and owners afloat.

Review by Luis, Palm Coast 4/22/20253.0Food:Service:Atmosphere:
While it was nice sitting outside at the EV, the food was not as good as back in the beach shack, and the service was ridiculously slow! It was almost impossible to find our waiter and drink refills never happened. I'll wait for the fire damage to be repaired before we eat here again.

Review by Frank, Palm Coast 3/27/20254.5.0Food:Service:Atmosphere:
The European Village really doesn't suit the Turtle Shack but they have made the next of the temporary spot and the food was just as good. I sat at the bar and had excellent service and the best grouper sandwich around.

Very busy and had about a 10 minute wait. We sat outside and had good service. The food was very good although it didn't quite have the same taste as it does at it's "shack" location. It's good to see them making the best of a bad situation and keeping staff employed.

Review by Graham, Palm Coast 11/14/20245.0Food:Service:Atmosphere:
The Turtle Shack may look a bit rough outside, but it’s super friendly inside. The staff was welcoming, and the vibe felt great. I started with the artichoke dip, which was delicious. The Bleu Ribbon Burger was amazing - loved the blue cheese and bacon inside! Overall, I really enjoyed the experience and will definitely come back.

Review by Stan, Palm Coast 7/25/20245.0Food:Service:Atmosphere:
I have been coming to the Turtle Shack for over 200 years and although it's evolved the vibe and food have remained the same. Even with a busy house the staff cope very well and the quality of food does not suffer. I like so many dishes here and from the trigger fish to the burgers everything is delicious. The Turtle Shack is a must stop for anyone visiting the area.

Review by Chris, Palm Coast 6/7/20245.0Food:Service:Atmosphere:
The Turtle Shack is my go to place when I want a damn good burger, and they always satisfy. these are gourmet burgers here and the best I've found in Flagler Beach. Plenty of other great sandwiches and entrees too. Great seafood items. Staff are great and I love its rustic beachy vibes.

Turtle Shack in Palm Coast's European Village offers a seafood-focused menu with highlights such as Crab Cakes served either as an entrée or sandwich, Sesame Ahi Tuna, Blackened Super Grouper, and Jerk Grouper tacos with an upgrade option. Their Bacon Bleu Chips and Calamari with Peppers are popular starters. Cocktails have recently been added and complement the food well. Outdoor dining in the courtyard is favored for its lively atmosphere and good music, though the interior is less inviting and darker. Service is consistently praised as friendly and attentive, contributing positively to the experience. Some patrons note that the flavor and vibrancy of dishes like shrimp tacos and burgers seem stronger at the former beach location. Overall, Turtle Shack balances moderately priced seafood with thoughtful preparation and a relaxed setting.
