Review of Rodie's Place by Genesis from Palm Coast
We always enjoy Rodie's as we like its outside seating and atmosphere. The food is elevated versions of classic dishes with some in house specialties and everything we've had has been delicious. My only complaint is that a couple of the sandwiches, although tasty, are very messy and not easy to eat. And parking is not always convenient either - watch for ant nests on the grass verge!

Rodie's has that old Florida low country feel about it and is our favorite place for an alfresco brunch. We love the food and the service is top notch. Everything is made from scratch and very tasty. It can get busy especially on a sunny Sunday, and parking can be challenging, but it's worth it.

Dropped in for lunch and as the weather was bad we sat inside, which is no where as good as being outside, and just felt like anywhere else. Our server was really nice and very attentive and we both ordered sandwiches. My crabcake sandwich was OK but needed more flavor. Any I have never seen a restaurant charge for blackened - $1.50 extra!!! Maybe paying the extra would have given it more flavor. My wife had the Cuban and said it was authentic and tasty. I much preferred Rodies for breakfast which was much better.

We liked the setting of Rodie's and the outside seating was very enjoyable. They have a good menu and our breakfasts were good but not as great as we expected, especially for the prices. Our server was didn't check in on us very much and we went without refills. Owner/manager visited other tables chatting but didn't pitch in.

I had a lovely lunch at Rodie's with a friend and I highly recommend the Crabcake Sandwich. Our server was very gracious and did not rush us while we chatted. The ambiance is delightful and is the perfect out of the way spot.

We had been looking forward to trying Rodie's and after finally visiting, we don't understand all the hype. First, parking was not easy, second, the wait for a table was long even though I saw others arrive after us get seated, third, the service was not good, and finally, the food was really disappointing. Regarding service, we found the server to be blunt and not very attentive at all, and as for the food, it was just really nothing special and no better than usual diner food. However, they do have a nice location with some good seating areas, but it's not very practical as a restaurant. At least I tried it for myself and doubt very much I will again.

Rodie's is a classy place nicely laid out with some good outside tables with a kind of island vibe about it. The menu has many tempting items and everything is freshly homemade and doesn't taste like reheated frozen food like most places. We have enjoyed breakfast here often but today was first time for lunch and it was just as good. The crabcake sandwich is highly recommended and is all crab and not all full of breading. The service is very friendly and efficient, and although not so cheap the quality is worth it.

The owner greeted us and we were seated right away. We were there for breakfast and Rodie's did not disappoint us. The French Toast was treat and hubs loved his Corned beef and Hash with Eggs. A real gem in the Hammock and convenient if you're going on to the beaches or state parks.

Rodie runs this place like clockwork... you're always greeted, you receive great service, and the food is consistent and delicious. They have some different outside seating options from the front porch to the side areas, plus tables inside. The ingredients are high quality and everything like the potatoes, etc., are hand cut fresh and not frozen. Rodie's is well worth a trip over the bridge and I know you'll love them too.

Rodie's is like upscale rustic homestyle, if that's a thing lol Porch style or inside dining with mostly all your favorite breakfast items that are elevated and given Rodie twists. We have visited several times and never had a bad breakfast yet, and the quality of service never fails to impress. You will most likely get a tableside visit from the owner to check up on things. I know I sound like a representative but Rodie's just impresses me.

The environment at Rodie's is nice with some good outside seating spaces. Our server was top notch and the owner floats around the tables checking on everyone. The food here is very good but on the pricey side. I had the Rodie's version of Egg Benedict which is with crab meat and cauliflower bread and very tasty. My girlfriend had a breakfast wrap that she thought was okay but said it was nothing special. Rodie's is a nice unique place and I think their specialty items are the best to order.

This is an interesting spot along A1A that offers something a little different in regards to the setting and the menu, than your usual breakfast options in Flagler. Our food was delicious and you could tell everything was freshly homemade. Their biscuits were excellent. Our server was really nice and attentive and although busy we were never rushed. Very nice place and we shall return.

This is not one of those typical A1A tourist traps, it's good delicious food slightly elevated and served in a delightful setting. The service is first class and the owner stays active greeting people and attending to everyone's needs. Breakfast was a real treat here and we're so glad to have found it.

I am recommending Rodie's Place for those looking for a breakfast or lunch that's a step above the usual options. The food here is elevated and is well prepared and delicious. You also receive highly professional service and will be greeted by the owner. If the weather is nice the outside tables are a must to really get the Hammock atmosphere.
Highlight of visit: My personal recommendations are the Rodie's Egg Benedict or the French Toast for breakfast, and the Crabcake Sandwich or the incredible Foil Dog for lunch.

Sitting outside on the front porch on a warm morning is the best breakfast or lunch experience in Palm Coast! I bring my clients here and they are always impressed. The service has never faltered and although the menu is quite small, Rodie's nails every dish.

It's smaller than I thought inside, with outdoor seating in the front and the side, which is not so great in this cold weather. Parking is also a challenge as it does get busy. But on the positive side, you'll get treated very well by all staff and the owner can't be missed as he seems to try and greet everyone. It's busy because their food is really delicious. The create your own omelets are very good and they do the best French toast around. Without a doubt the best brunch in Flagler and truly excellent any other time too.

This place is a little pricey but it's one of the best spots for breakfast. The food is awesome and service is excellent. We sat outside with perfect weather and loved it here. The breakfast bowl is a must order item and my daughter loved the Eggs Benedict with cauliflower bread and crab cakes. Very unique dishes here and well worth a trip over the bridge even at $3 now!

A wonderful diner type place with a cozy seating area and open kitchen plus nice outside tables. The staff is friendly and provided very good service and the owner stopped by to say hello. We had one of the best breakfasts we've had in a long time with everything seasoned to perfection and tasting so good. The food has a Southern hint with some very interesting combinations. If you're along the A1A I highly recommend you stop here.

Very much a locals type place with a busy atmosphere and friendly service. Management/owner stopped by to chat. Good menu with their own interesting twists on popular dishes like eggs benedict and French toast, both of which were dlecious. Parking limited and had to go down the road a little. Nice location surrounded by oaks.
