Thai by Thai PERMANENTLY CLOSED

This is not like other Asian restaurants around here that try to cover several cuisines without specializing in any.... this place does Thai only and does it very well.

Menu is large (and very heavy LOL) and every dish I've had so far has been delicious. Their flavors are amazing, portions just right and prices competitive. I also really like how you don't really get one server and that everyone attends to you. No need to ask for anything as staff anticipate your needs very well. This is a really great little restaurant!

I'm convinced the kitchen in this restaurant doesn't have a can opener! Everything seems fresh and they make all their own sauces and pastes from scratch which is hard to find these days. I visit often and they're always trying out new dishes and specials that are well worth trying. They are also very flexible with their menu, so if you just tell them what ingredients you like, they'll make something for you. As others say on here, it's not fancy but it is very professional and offers some top notch Thai food and great prices. This is a number 1 restaurant for good reason!

What a surprise this was! Expected a noodle stir fry type of experience and had the most amazing meal ever. I can't say what I had as I couldn't understand what the gentleman called it, but it was a dish with crab and pork in a delicious sauce over rice. It came with a side condiment that really added some spice and a different dimension to the dish. The gentleman server took pride in presenting the dish to me and directed me on the traditional way of eating it.

I'm very impressed with this restaurant and very happy I found a great place to dine at in Palm Coast.

lunch was so so. for thia food outside of thailand was not so good. Prices are too high for what you get! The service was ok.

Thai By Thai has the right formula for great tasting food with good service at great prices. Nothing fancy here, but you get delicious food, heart shaped rice, professional service and a cozy atmosphere. This restaurant doesn't have too much style, but it does have personality and food unmatched by any other local Asian establishment.

I just wanted to let everyone know what a great dining experience I had here. The food was out of this world and absolutely delicious! All the staff pitched in and made the service top notch. Plus the prices are excellent considering the amount of really delicious food. If this restaurant has gift certificates, that's what i want for Christmas this year ;-)

My husband and I thought we'd visit for dinner to see what all the fuss was about over this restaurant. First off, it's very unassuming and on entering we were just directed to sit where we wanted. A young server came over with menus which were very heavy and took our drink orders. Another server bought our drinks and then another gentleman came to take our order. We hadn't really had time to study the menu fully but he asked us what we liked and suggested some dishes. We took his recommendations unsure of what exactly we had ordered. We ordered soups first and they came out very quickly by yet another server. These were delicious! Very coconutty with lemon grass and chicken. Our entrees arrived a few minutes apart from each other. Mine was a sea bass dish and my husband had some kind of curry dish. The rice was moulded into heart shapes and the manager gentleman gave us instruction on how these dishes are eaten in Thailand. Both of our meals were superb and we were very pleased with our choices.

We were very impressed with Thai By Thai and we especially liked how all staff members pitched in. They are true professionals and whoever was closest to us at the time would serve us. We never once asked for anything and they anticipated everything from drink refills to extra napkins (my husband was sweating from the spicy food). To top it off, the prices were good too. We will definitely be going back!

You have to credit this restaurant for doing something right! You get quick service, food is delicious, and prices are excellent. It's a no frills place with great food. Best Asian restaurant in Flagler! I also love the new big menus.

Thai by Thai has been doing some upgrades including new leather and copper bound menus and some amazing new dishes. I'm not sure what the dish I had today was called, but it was absolutely delicious and very creative. It can be best described as a Thai surf and turf. It had very tender marinated pork, crab and tiger shrimp dumplings served with noodles in a fantastic sauce. I thought all the ingredients would be overwhelming but they really complimented each other and came together as one of the best meals I've ever had. My dining partner's dish was also very good. It was a Chicken with Thai Basil over rice. It's broth was excellent and had the perfect balance of sweet, sour and spicy.

The chef at Thai by Thai is a very talented and highly creative. Service never misses a beat and prices are reasonable. We're very lucky to have this spectacular restaurant here in Palm Coast.

When we return to Palm Coast Thai by Thai is the very first restaurant we visit. My wife and I really enjoy it's food and simple atmosphere. The reviews here say just about everything I can and all I can say is that this is a top restaurant for good reason... people obviously love its food, good value and reliable service.

Not sure what this place does to its food but it's delicious! The atmosphere is friendly and staff make you feel welcome. The menu has lots of different items and everything we've eaten has been incredible. I really love the Pad Thai which is much more favorable that others I've had. My only complaint is that I wish they had a choice of better desserts. But overall this is an amazing restaurant and we go often.

This is one of those rare quirky whole in the wall joints. The decor is not the best with crooked pictures and mirrors on the wall and a specials board that can hardly be read. The staff look like they're from a United Nations meeting and the menus have stickers and hand written corrections all over them. But the food is awesome! Their pastes are hand made and the ingredients are fresh. You can definitely taste the difference compared with other local Thai restaurants. Even a simple dish like Thai Rice is bursting with flavor. It's no wonder that every time I go I see many of the same people in there... this is truly one my top favorite restaurants and obviously many others' too.

I am addicted to Thai by Thai and I absolutely love the food here. I have my menu favorites which include the curries and Thai Rice plus I often have one the specials recommended by the owner. Not sure how they get some of the flavors but they are really good and nothing else competes locally. Prices at Thai by Thai are also excellent and their service is really attentive. No wonder this is the top restaurant on all the restaurant websites. Try the squid rings and summer rolls! Delicious!

Visited with two others. I had their special which was a sea bass dish that was amazing! The fish portion was huge and was served in a delicious ginger broth with rice and vegetables. It was one of the best meals I've had! My dining partners enjoyed their Drunken Noodles and Tofu Pad Thai. Service was good, prices just right. If they could just brighten the place up a little!

Better! The food was very good to excellent! The service was excellent for a small restaurant. Viewed the owner handle a rude patron quietly and successfully.

The food here is totally delicious! Flavors are great and if you like spicy, I guarantee that they will deliver! Prices more than reasonable. Very simple but cozy atmosphere with good service. Try the yellow curry!

One piece of advice, order a heat level one below you can normally handle, because spicy in here means nuclear! Apart from that though, the food is delicious and beats any other Thai restaurant around. The restaurant itself is very humble and nothing fancy but you get good size portions at good prices. No matter how nice the decor is in other places their food just doesn't compare to Thai by Thai's. Servers are characters and seem to be a mix of Asian, Mexican and American. All good though.

Hadn't been here for a while and it was always excellent in the past, but tonight was a bit of a let down. The flavor was good, but the chicken in my curry was very tough. A new girl served me and she did a good job. Hope tonight wasn't a sign on this restaurant sliding as it really is one of our best.

Without doubt the best Thai food in the area. It doesn't have the best atmosphere or the friendliest service, but staff are very efficient and the restaurant is clean. Food is delicious and we have loved every meal so far. Prices are very good as well.

This joint is a surprise. It's not anything fancy and the owner/manager can be very moody but the food is consistently good. Servers rarely smile or small talk but they're very good and you never have to ask for refills, etc. It's very tired looking inside but it's clean and prices are very reasonable. So if you don't mind moody staff and a plain atmosphere then you can enjoy some great Thai food.
