Finally! The first excellent Thai restaurant since we left California 3 1/2 years ago. I'm going to be spending a lot of time at this place! Very friendly people, too; just a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

This place has the most delicious Thai food ever. Our week is not complete without dinner there at least once a week. I have tried every dish on the menu and not one was a disappointment. If you want great service ( always with a smile) , excellent food this is the place to bring you family and friends. If you need any reccomendations just ask the owner, he will drive your taste buds crazy for more.

My favorite spot for lunch when I get time by myself. And take out for the whole family when we're craving Chicken Penang or Fried Rice with anything. Friendly service.

We enjoyed this Thai food that had wonderful flavor instead of just burning our mouth off. My wife and I like spicy food, but not when you can't taste the dish. Thai by Thai prepared our dinner within our individual spice tolerance. The waitress spent time with us suggesting dishes, spice level, and ensuring we enjoyed our meal.

The menu offers plenty of variety of seafood, meat, chicken, noodle, and vegetarian dishes. The portions were large and cooked to perfection.

If you like Thai food, I highly recommend Thai by Thai.

The food is excellent. For a small city, this is a great restaurant. Lunch time is packed.

My brother from N.Y. was visiting and I brought him to Thai by Thai... he was very impressed and is somewhat of a fussy food connoisseur. I enjoyed the food and the service was extremely friendly. The only thing I would change is the ambiance which was slightly lacking.

The food here is very good, but don't go when you are starving. We have only been a handful of times, but it takes a VERY long time. I'd say each occasion we were there for 1 1/2 to 2 hours and it was only two of us and it was not busy.

Cute Place! We thought this place got a "bad rap" on this site. The food is as authentic as any other Thai place we've eaten at. We will be back! Very Good!

Thai by Thai is an awesome restaurant! Food and staff are wonderful. We go at least once a week to satisfy our craving. Flounder with three sauces (#42), Sweet and sour chicken, Seafood special, and Thai fried rice with pork are among our favorites! Yum - I'm getting hungry just thinking about it!

Great food, friendly staff. Ambience is a bit lacking. Go and your tummy will be happy.

Regretfully. one of the dishes I ordered was unavailable. The second dish was tasty but, the ingredient that was supposed to be in the dish, was not to be found. The waiter said it was scarce after serving it to me,but no substitution was ordered.
After the meal we presented a coupon and the owner said theprevious owner had honored it but he would not. We left with a bad taste for this restuarant.

Since the new owner, I have noticed a difference in the food. The service IS good but the food has definitely gone down hill.

This is not good Thai food. How can I say it any more simply?

My wife and I both just moved from NY where we grew to love Thai food. Thai by Thai's cuisine is made like the chef doesn' t think Americans know any better.

The ingredients seemed fresh, but that's about the only good thing I can say here. Thai by Thai's food is so bland, it's like eating plain noodles with unseasoned chicken. Last I checked, Thai food should be full of flavor, zest and spice.

Unfortunately, there are no Thai alternatives in our area (if anyone reading this is a Thai chef- the marke tis wide open!), but even so, we will be avoiding this one in favor of- well... just about anything.

If you really crave Thai, then get an Uncle Ben's Thai rice bowl- it has more flavor than anything we tried at this restaurant.

On this particular evening, craving something exotic, we found ourselves in Palm Harbor Shopping Village, outside of Thai by Thai.

It was about a quarter to 9, and the sign on the door read 'closed'. Disappointed, we were scrambling back into the car, when a young gentleman ran out of the restaurant and explained to us that it would be not a problem for us to still have dinner, and they would be glad to serve us, etc. After hesitating for a bit, hunger took over and we walked in. The place was well lit, small and entirely unpretentious.

The menus were extraordinarily pretty, and full of unpronounceable words. We ordered some appetizers: Spring Rolls (staying on the safe side) and Satay (grilled marinated chicken on bamboo skewers). For entrees, we wanted adventure, so my wife ordered Phra Ram Long Song (sliced beef with Thai peanut sauce), and I got the Pad Krapraow (beef, simmered in basil and chili sauce). Both entrées were excellent, and in the great tradition of the Orient, everything was absolutely gorgeous, down to the tiniest detail. With the initial hunger satisfied, we took in our surrounding. The décor could stand to be a bit improved on. The chairs could be a little more comfortable, and maybe some table liners.

There was a family of five dining next to us. The two little boys were quite a hit with the staff. They were continuously treated to various magic tricks, a few hugs, and lots of high fives. They seemed to be thoroughly enjoying themselves, if trickles of laughter were any indication. Other than the few reservations regarding the décor, our dining experience turned out to be quite pleasant. Expecting to feel somewhat like intruders, due to our late arrival, we felt quite welcomed. We will definitely be back.

I went to Thai by Thai after reading the list of comments. I was surprised to see people complain about the service. The service was incredible and they were more than eager to serve me. The Pad Thai was awesome!

Nice wait staff and good food. Their Pad Thai is one of the better ones I have had since I've been in Florida. I recommend the Beef Panang and a nice cold glass of Thai Tea. This is a great place to go even if you never have had Thai food.

We are used to Thai fare. We were excited that Palm Coast finally had a Thai restaurant. At first, Thai by Thai was descent, but then the promptness of service has been terrible of late. During our last visit, we realized there was a table of about 16 people that evening. We understand that the promptness of service may be delayed. Unfortunately, it took over an hour to receive our drinks and over an hour and a half to receive our food.I was dining with an out-of-town friend and it was quite embarrassing. The portions are demeaning to a real Asian and the prices are somewhat expensive. They do make terrific Thai tea! I must give them that.

Six of us were at this restaurant last night and waited 1/2 hour for someone to take our order, and had to wait more than another hour to receive our food. After 1 1/2 hours, we had to complain several times to get any service. The food was cold and had to be sent back to be reheated. Where were they storing it while we waited to be served? It was also poorly seasoned. I had an upset stomach all night long. I won't be back. And the rest of the party won't be back either.
