Review of Portugal Wine Bar & Grill by Jeremy from Palm Coast
Not much curb appeal but once inside it had a good vibe and our the staff were amazing. The food is very European, colorful, and delicious. Portugal Grill really took me back. Only tip, don't get the cheaper wine, not good!
Highlight of visit: Their Bitoque and the Seafood Rice Stew are amazing dishes.

This is a wonderful restaurant with a great crew running it. I LOVED my meal which started with Flambed Chorizo and the Grilled Trout with Roasted Potatoes as my entree. The wine was divine. My husband is still talking about his meal. I will admit that it was expensive but well worth it, and I highly recommend you try Portugal Bar & Grill.

We love the food here and never had a bad meal, but it is pricey and we can't afford to go too often. My son took us recently and the food was excellent and the service very attentive. The grilled cod and garlic tiger shrimp was cooked and flavored perfectly. For an authentic Portuguese restaurant you can't go wrong here.

I just come here for the vegetarian paella and it did not disappoint. The flavor was great and was very filling. Rice cooked just right and veggies tasty. Not much else for vegetarians in here but I'd come back for the paella again.

My wife and I had a great meal here this past weekend and were impressed by the high food quality and service. For a neighborhood strip mall restaurant it is very professionally run and produces some delicious authentic Portuguese dishes. The Seared Duck Breast in a Port Cherry Sauce was rich, tasty, and very tender, and the Seafood Rice Stew was full of flavor. The Portugal Grill really highlights and elevates traditional Portuguese food and raises the bar with customer service in Palm Coast.
Highlight of visit: As mentioned, the Duck Breast served with a Port and Cherry Sauce was a spectacular dish, and my wife's Seafood Rice Stew was flavorful and a feast on a plate. Our waiter was professional and very courteous.

This was an amazing find and very unexpended from its unpretentious exterior. The staff were immediately engaging and our server was very attentive throughout the meal. So many things on the menu were calling out to me and I took the server's advice and tried seafood rice stew and garlic octopus appetizer, and everything was superb. The octopus surprised me the most... so good. My time here was very special and I can't wait to bring my friends here.

First time I came here they didn't have a table for us so this time we had a reservation, an dit was well worth it. It has a very lively European feel inside and wait staff hover around the tables doing a great job. The food is delicious! The fried sardines and flambe chorizo starters were excellent, and the grilled octopus and cod fish were amazing dishes. At $40 for an entree I was hesitant, but it was well worth it. The pitcher of sangria complimented our meal very well.

We've been coming here regularly for a few years now and even though they've changed owners over time, we have always enjoyed every meal here and the service is always exceptional. We love the food especially all the seafood and fish dishes, and the flambe'd chorizo is a showstopper when prepared tableside. The atmosphere is nice and is fun when busy.

We enjoyed our evening so much. From the steam clams in garlic (have bread ready, its great dipping!) & yummy bruschetta. The Picadinho Mixto is mywas terrific and I'm brining home half for lunch during the week (win win!). My friend tried the Portuguese steak and loved it as well. It was hard to pick a dessert from the cart but the chocolate mousse was perfect! Our server, Patricia was friendly and quick to assist as were the bussers and other servers. They really excel in service.
Highlight of visit: Picadinho Mixto is my favorite dish, I love it so much that it's hard to not to get it each time.

This restaurant was a great find and we very much enjoyed the food and received amazing service. The Octopus Salad was bright, tasty and tender, and my Pork Ossobuco was delicious. It was slow roasted to impart rich flavors and was a gem of a dish. My friend chose a Seafood Rice Stew and raved about it. With wine, the bill was not cheap, but considering the quality of the food and service it was well worth it. If you are looking for something different or somewhere for a celebration or to impress a date, then the Portugal Bar & Grill is your place.

My wife and I were driving around town to find a place to eat dinner and settled on this place. We have never been here before and were made to feel very welcomed and appreciated by the staff. Our server was incredible and as we were in a mood for seafood, he made some recommendations that turned out to be great choices. We're not familiar with Portuguese style food and what they do with the fish and octopus is outstanding. The flavors are very rich and they treat seafood much differently than all the other places around Flagler. The wine we had perfectly complimented the food and we enjoyed the atmosphere.
Highlight of visit: The Seafood Mariscada is a spectacular dish and the Portuguese Style Paella was very flavorful and rich with lobster, scallops, calamari, shrimp and clams.

From the soup to the entree everything was delicious. Loved the kale soup and the octopus was superb and even the potatoes tasted amazing. They have a big focus on customer service and our waiter made us feel very welcome and appreciated. The atmosphere is quite nice but I think our table by the door was a bad choice. We really enjoyed the food and service and will return.

This is a good restaurant with some excellent food and top notch service. They're very good with seafood and I really enjoyed the Grilled Octopus although it was pricey! The Sardines and Cod Fish Croquettes apps are highly recommended. My wife had a Cod baked on clay which she loved. First wine we were recommended was awful but the second was so much better - don't go for the cheap one, just not worth it. The final bill was a bit of a shocker but was worth it, as we left very happy.
Highlight of visit: The Grilled Octopus was tender and very flavorful and all the apps are excellent.

I came here with a craving for Paella as I heard they had the best in Palm Coast. It was very good but not the type of Paella I was expecting, this is not the Spanish style but Portuguese style which is more like a risotto. Nice flavor though with a generous amount of lobster and shellfish. This restaurant also has excellent customer service and I enjoyed the recommended wine. I discovered a new dish that I liked but I still need to find Spanish Paella around here though.

Food and service were amazing and the ambiance was very nice for Palm Coast. I'm not Portuguese so I can't say validate how authentic it is, but I can validate how tasty it is. It was nice to have some dishes to try that we hadn't before, and definitely found it a nice change to the usual offerings we get around here. You get top notch service and I was impressed with the Portuguese wine. This restaurant knows how to transform a piece of fish! If you're looking for something different to try in Palm Coast, I recommend you check this place out.

Good restaurant with some authentic Portuguese dishes, but a few details let it down. The meats and seafood were high quality and cooked perfectly, the sardines were excellent. The sides were a disappointment though such as the fried potatoes that tasted old and soggy, and linguini overcooked. We were a table of four and all agreed that the seats were uncomfortable. Our waiter was fantastic and highly professional.

I left with mixed feeling about this restaurant. Firstly, the service is very attentive but we idn't like the atmosphere too much, or at least where we were seated. There was intimacy and very trip mall'ish. The food had a lot of flavors but was also very rich and oily. I could feel my arteries complaining as I ate! I would go again but maybe request a better table and select lighter foods.

I would like to really recommend this restaurant. The first thing you notice is how professional and friendly the staff are. It was quite busy and had a good atmosphere with loud chatter and clinking of cutlery and wine glasses. Nice many with many good sounding items and I ended up ordering the waiter's recommendation of the Pork Ossobuco which was tender, rich and very flavorful, and my wife had an Octopus dish on a clay tile that she said was excellent. The Portuguese wine we had was very good and overall it was a superb evening.

My wife and I tried this restaurant for the first time and had a very enjoyable dinner. The service is top notch and we went with our server's recommendations of the octopus and Portuguese steak, both very tasty and we liked the olives and bread they bring out. Wine was nice as well. The prices are on the high side and on par with fine dining rates.
