Dani's...so close, yet so far away.
This is the kind of place that one could get excited about, if they really knew what they were doing. We had been anticipating going there for a while and even more so when we read the menu and ordered our food. In the end, we left mad, sick and disappointed.
My sister's Cuban was horribly prepared as the inside was cold (not just "not done" but "not cooked") The pork had been precooked but not warmed up before being put in the sandwich. It's one thing to not have melty cheese, but another to have food that hasn't been heated up according to standard food-safety. She spent the whole night in the bathroom...
My wife's "Arroz con Pollo" was just the Spanish rice that we all got as a side with a couple of dried out, overcooked chicken medallions on it. That's just lazy. It wasn't a dish as much as it was two sides mashed together and executed poorly. The chips they serve before the meal, overdone and seemed as if they'd been cooked much earlier in the day. Meanwhile, the AC was broken, service was lackluster and unenthusiastic and prices were a little high for the caliber of food we were getting.
There were positives (my food was good, the salsa was delicious, live music pushed the hot atmosphere to 2-star, etc), but I can't go back here or encourage anyone else to when I know that someone back in the kitchen doesn't know basic kitchen prep/safety.

I had my mother's birthday party at Dani's. Our meals were served on a promptly manner. The food was delicious! Desserts were fabulous. It was a Friday nite. Mario"s music complemented for the ambiance. Ocean view scenery. Everyone in our party of 30 were delighted that we choosed Dani's. Most of us went back the following day
We danced to Mario's Music with his band.
It's a good thing there is Spanish food with home cook flavor and good Latin live music to dance! In Flagler Beach!

I tried the restaurant based on the previous review and my desire for authentic Puerto Rican food. This area has many restaurants but they all serve similar food. I was excited to have a Spanish restaurant close by. The location was beautiful with great ocean views but unfortunately that is as good as it gets. The dining room was clean but very warm. Other patrons were complaining about the temperature but the waitress said they were having AC problems and that a repair man was scheduled for during the week. It is Florida, we have AC repair men that work around the clock. If you want to keep the doors to your restaurant open then you need a functioning air conditioner.
The service was SLOW and the waitress seemed overwhelmed. A table of older customers were complaining that it was taking too long for their food. It was lunch time and there were only 4 tables of customers so I am not sure what the hold up was.
We ordered arroz con pollo and OMG it was horrible. There is honestly not a good thing I could say about it. GOYA rice in a box would have been much better. It was overcooked and over seasoned. The chicken tasted like it had been microwaved it was chewy and of poor quality. The table next to us ordered hamburgers and they were served on 99 cent buns. The man actually commented that it tasted like the bun was baked in 1946 the year he was born. It did not look much more appetizing than the slop that was on my plate. The maduros were the only edible thing on the plate. I was hoping for much better, and the neighborhood deserves better. I gave it a try but I will not be back!

We tried Dani's because we heard via word of mouth about a Spanish restaurant on the beach! We were not disappointed at all; the food was delicious and presentation was very nice! Owner was superb and wanted serious feedback! When sitting on the main dining room and looking towards the beach through the very large windows,
It felt like we were at a restaurant in Puerto Rico! We will definitely be back!
