Review of Flagler Fish Company by Matty from Palm Coast
At first glance of the menu we thought it limiting, but it allows you to create many dishes and our were truly incredible. It's prices are quite high but the seafoods are fresh and you can see the effort they put in each dish. Server was very friendly but could have checked on us more often. We sat outside which would have been better if not for inconsiderate smokers standing by our table. We would definitely like to return as the food is excellent but would sit inside next time.

Sat outside in the beautiful weather and had great service from Chris. Our food was really excellent and the fish was very fresh and tasty. The chowder and their coleslaw are fabulous. We drove from St. Aug and it was well worth it.

Visited Sunday and sat outdoors on the side. Our waitress came out and checked on us often and although it was close to the traffic we enjoyed sitting there. Their bisque was so good I could have drunk a bucket full, and the fish dishes were fabulous and so nicely seasoned. They really know their seafood here and it's no wonder they're one of the top fish restaurants in Florida.

This is a great restaurant for fresh tasty seafood. We have visited a few times now and tried several dishes and never had a bad meal. I will admit that service is on or off at times, but we're never in a rush and it's all about the food, which is very good. Their seasonings and sauces are all on point and the seafood is top quality and reasonably priced.

I liked the food here but thought it was pricey plus the service was not very good. Our server was friendly enough but not attentive and was hard to flag down. As mentioned I did enjoy the seafood from the oysters to the fish cakes all were delicious. I get prices are high these days but good service is required when you pay a great deal for a meal.

We received a friendly welcome and were seated quickly. It's smaller than I thought but had fun seaside decor and artwork. The dip appetizer was very good with a nice smokey fish taste. For my entree I had grouper and scallops sauteed in a butter wine sauce that was superb. The savory grit cake side was unique and delicious and their fries are nice and thick. Overall I found this a very charming place with delightful staff and fabulous food.

We have been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time and finally did so last weekend. I'll start by saying all the food was excellent and very fresh, well prepared and cooked with good flavors. However, the service was very slow and although our server was very friendly and apologetic, there seemed to be a hold up somewhere along the line. Also, the menu was not what I expected. It is much more a la carte and we found it very confusing and overwhelming. Lastly, the place itself is looking very tired and it felt very cluttered. Ultimately a restaurant is about the food which is good here, but the overall experience needs some work.

Definitely understaffed right now and I know it's a general wide problem so I understand. As soon as you enter the smell lets you know you're in a fish restaurant! Had a few service issues from GF not being able to get silverware to drink refills, but our meals were awesome and was impressed with the freshness and the Cheese and Grits Cake side is delicious. Fish isn't cheap these days but I thought it was quite good value here. Hope they find some help soon.

Stella food and hospitality and had a wonderful meal here. It was busy and after quite a long wait it was uphill from there on. Our server couldn't do enough to make sure we were taken of, and once the food arrived we were delighted by how good it was. The scallops are amazing and not only the largest I have had they were super tasty and tender. Hand down the best seafood on the beach (or close to) with a vibrant atmosphere.

Staff was really good and food was reasonable. The smoked fish dip appetizer tasted good but was too runny and chips didn't seem too fresh. A1A Fish sandwich was tasty but fish got lost with everything else in there. Wife's tilapia was very good and she enjoyed creating her own style for it. Would be nice to add descriptions on items, such as what is Hong Kong Sauce? Not bad seafood overall but you can definitely find better around Flagler including the new Crab Shack in Bunnell which really offers great seafood at a lot less $ than here.

Best fresh seafood and side dishes on the beach! Always a large selection of fresh seafood prepared in a wide variety of ways. The restaurant is small with minimal atmosphere but worth it.
Highlight of visit: Carolyn's catch is Always good and the Asiago potatoes are great.

Great place for seafood done right. Had the grouper and it was delicious and the side of potatoes with mushrooms and Gorgonzola went so well with it. Everything tasted so fresh and was cooked perfectly. Outstanding service and prices very reasonable considering the quality and freshness. Key lime pie for dessert was also very good. So far this is by far the best seafood I've had in Flagler Beach and I recommend to everyone.

Best fish in the region, for carry out of dine in. Love it and it’s a regular place for us. Try to avoid Friday nights, or just do carry out then. It can be too crowded. Mahi, grouper, yellowtail, shrimp, it’s all good. The crab wrap with asparagus is amazing too.
Highlight of visit: Carolyn’s Catch fish sandwich is great with whatever fresh fish they have.

I have gotten pickup from here twice now since the lockdown and enjoyed it both times. Only problem was with the Shrimp and Grits that were a bit messy in the container, but still tasted good. I like this restaurant but the most of their food doesn't too well for take out and has to be eaten almost as soon as you get it home.

Although the seafood was some of the best I've had in this area, I really didn't care for the build your own type of menu as I much prefer to see a creative menu of chef prepared dishes. The service was professional and it has a good beachside seafood market atmosphere. They seem to be as much of a steakhouse now too.

I have to say how much we enjoyed our meals here last weekend. Had to wait a while but it was worth it. Seafood is fresh and flavors very nice. Homemade chips were awesome! The shrimp and grits was excellent. Also some good non seafood items as well. Service was good up until the end of the meal when the server kept walking past us. Quite small inside but cozy and close to the beach.

We visited for the first time last weekend and really enjoyed the food, but waiting for a table, which I understand when it's busy, was strange as we felt in the way wherever we waited. Once seated we also found the service slow and food took a long time to arrive. However, once it did arrive it was excellent and we enjoyed every bite. You basically choose your fish, tell them how you want it cooked such as blackened, then select a sauce, and pick your sides. The fish seemed fresh and we thought was worth the cost.

I drive up from Daytona Beach to visit this restaurant at least once a month and have never been disappointed. It's a true gem of a fish house with awesome service and a menu full of enticing dishes. Wait staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. Most dishes are very creative and equally delicious but if you're a traditionalist you can still get your full of fried fish. Make sure you leave room for dessert because they are just as good as the mains. This is as close to fine dining you can get while in a relaxed seaside atmosphere. If you're a seafood lover like me then you can't miss this great restaurant.

We're new to the area and still trying all the restaurants and this is the best so far for fish. They have a small seafood counter inside where everything looked very fresh and they inside and outside seating options. I had a grouper dish and the fish itself wasn't anything to shout about, the sauce really was very tasty and made the meal. My wife had the lobster roll and bisque and thought both very good, although lobster roll was small for the costs. Overall a good meal and will go again after sampling some more local delights.
