Nicer and larger inside than I expected and the service was very good. The food is typical diner style, and I'm sure a lot of it is from cans and packets. My wife had eggs benedict which had a hollandaise sauce that was so yellow it could glow in the dark, definitely a packet mix. But at their reasonable prices I wouldn't expect chef created sauces. Nonetheless you get a good solid breakfast here and generous portions. We would visit again.

Come to Sammy J's for a great reliable and filling breakfast. Servers treat you well and you get a nice old school diner type atmosphere. Generous portions and good value.

We were told they have the best breakfast here and it was good, but it tasted very much like gravy and hollandaise are canned or from mixes. The hollandaise was an unnaturally bright yellow. I don't think much here is made from scratch. Very filling and reasonably priced and the service was very friendly. We arrived early and it soon got busy.

This is a great local breakfast spot with traditional comfort food with warm and friendly customer service. The place is homy and relaxing and you're not rushed. The biscuits and gravy are very good and they make some excellent homefries. My husband raves about the ham florentine and also likes their benedict. I'm disabled and can't walk far so we like that they have plenty of close parking here unlike the beach restaurants.

Sammy J's is hwere the locals eat! Great wallet friendly food and friendly service. The staff remember you and treat you like friends. Fresh ingredients and everything always cooked perfectly. Hard to find a better breakfast in Flagler Beach or Palm Coast.

If you're looking for somewhere to have breakfast this morning, we just ate at Sammy's and highly recommend it. Great prices and the food was excellent and service is quick and they keep you coffee cup filled.

This is one of those places thaat the locals know about and you don't see listed on the tourist sites... known for its good homestyle cooking and warm hospitality. There are tons of great items on the menu for breakfast and lunch and none will break the bank. We eat here at least twice a week and always see other regulars in there too... that says something.

The first time I went there I did like it I have to admit. But the second and third time went downhill from there. The third time, especially the service was horrible, and I have never been back since and never will go back again.

Sammy's is where you come for the best breakfast in Flagler Beach if not Central Florida!! The crew are all amazing and will treat you like family, and the food will really hit the spot!! I personally build a loaded omelet and being of Portuguese descent, I always add linguica. Perfect!!

Staff always make you feel at home and the food is delicious. I have visited weekly for years and always get a great breakfast.

My advice is to skip Dennys or Metro or any of those chain diners and come to Sammys instead. The food here is so much better and the staff will treat you right. No place better for a good hearty and delicious breakfast in Flagler!

Strip mall location and went in with few expectations but left very impressed. This is homestyle wholesome food done very well and at a reasonable price. You don't get views of the ocean but you get a very warm greeting and an opportunity for nice conversation (remember those?) with your dining partner.

A hidden gem tucked in the corner of a strip mall that has the best breakfast in Flagler Beach. Friendly and warm service and the food is cooked perfectly. Everything delicious. Never had to ask for refills, fresh coffee kept coming. Great prices as well. A real gem!

An excellent breakfast spot with very satisfying food just the way I like it. Come here often and the food and service are always consistently good. Prices are very good for these times and the only downside is that it's next to the tax collector office 😱

Tried Sammy's for breakfast today and it was a great choice. Husband and I have been looking for a great breakfast spot since coming here and this is the best so far. It's not fancy but very homey and feels like the old style places we had growing up. The staff are warm and friendly and the menu has so many wonderful sounding options. I had the Eggs James which is a version of a benedict and was amazing, and my husband had his usual NY strip steak and eggs that he was very happy with. The check was very reasonable and we left well satisfied.

No oceanviews or bloody mary's but you will get an incredible breakfast and service. Never had a bad meal here and just love their omelets, and their homefries are nice and crispy. Hubby always gets his pork chops and eggs.

I used to call Sammy J's the best kept secret for breakfast in Flagler Beach, but judging by how busy it was, the secret is well and truly out!! Great food and friendly staff all in a casual atmosphere. Never rushed and the food is always delicious. Ssshhh, don't tell anyone else 😉
