Johnny D's Beach Bar & Grill UNCLAIMED

This is a very casual beachtown dive bar type of place with good priced drinks and reasonable food. We've not been late at night but in afternoons and early evenings it's a good spot to hang out with some drinks and bites. I recommend the fried pickles and wings.

Quite nice outside at the front enjoying the sunshine with some cold beers. Standard bar food was nothing outsttanding but it did the job. Inside looked dark and not very inviting.

New to the area and out looking for somewhere to have a drink and a bite and found Johnny's. I thought it was friendly with a bar that is half outside and half in, and they have pool tables. Had a laugh with some of the other customers over beers and a pretty good fish sandwich. Service was good and the bartender was cool. I like places this where you feel ok going in alone.

I like Johnny's as it's less touristy than the bars on A1A and they have better prices. Cocktails are good and I like the Captain’s Punch. The food isn't bad and staff are friendly. Darts and pool tables are cool to have too.

Easy going bar close to the beach with decent music, plenty of bar games, and friendly staff. Sit down for table service or head to the bar. ..they have a full liquor service! The food is your usual pub grub which tasted good and soaked up the beers 😉🍺🍔 I had some sliders last time that were really good.

I like it here during the day but at night I don’t care for the atmosphere and the service can be lousy. Had a good corned beef Rueben today and nice to see they added draught beer. It’s not on the beach but has a beach bar vibe.

We had a good time here and the bar staff were very cool and made some good drinks. The food tastes like it came from a bag or box but went well with the drinks. The atmosphere is casual and friendly and although there were a lot of bikers (I am not one) everyone was very chill.

They put plastic up to keep the cold which made it kind of cozy. My BF had beers and I had a couple of mixed drinks which were reasonable... they made a good Long Island Ice Tea 🍹 My Cheezesteak was very messy and needed a ton of napkins, but BF's was happy with his burger. We'd come here again.

One of those places where you can let yourself go. Food is good enough and drinks are decent. I have noticed there's been some rude bar staff lately though. Good atmosphere when there's a lively crowd in.

I visited Johnny D's about a year ago and did not enjoy it but I just went again and noticed a big improvement. It was much more friendly with great service from the staff and our drinks and food were food excellent. The quesadilla was a great drink absorber LOL Music was cool too.

They don't have the pizazz of all the of Flagler's other beach bars but we received good service and the food was decent. My wife liked her Caesar Salad and my Quesadilla was tasty albeit messy with the filling oozing out everywhere. First round with cocktails disappointed so we switched to beers after that.

Staff were not very good here and not very friendly or inviting. Drinks were good and the wrap I had was tasty. Asked for table to be wiped as it was sticky and got attitude from server like cleaning was beneath her. I just didn't feel comfortable here.

The food was not impressive and tasted like frozen but had some good drinks and liked the setting outside. Just falls short when compared to the other beach bars.

A few people around us were being obnoxious but after they left we really had a good time here. Bar staff were good and the food was decent. Mushroom Swiss burger was awesome.

The food was quite good and the drinks were Ok, but the service was very slow and nonchalant. The vibe was very flat and just didn't compare to the other places along the beach. I'd recommend Tortugas, Golden Lion, Craves or Oceanside who all have much better food, drinks, and definitely better service.

A few of us went for a night out here and had a blast! Staff were awesome and kept the drinks coming which were great. The food was good especially the wings and burger and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Everyone give Johnny D's a bad rap but I like it here. It's a fun place and they have good drinks at decent prices and the food is decent. Good atmosphere and lively when busy and the bar staff are excellent. Good place close to the beach and very laid back.

The employees here were all very cool and I had good service. Drinks were very good and the food wasn't bad at all. The Mahi Sandwich was tasty.

Service is hit or miss and the atmosphere depends on the crowd, but it's the best option for late night eats along the beach. Most other places close their kitchens early. Food is reasonable but on the heavy and greasy side. Mixed drinks are just mixers thrown together so don't expect any craft or higher quality cocktails here. I just stick with a beer in these kinds of places.

Not the most endearing place on the beachside... I should have seen the red flag when everywhere else was packed and this place was nearly empty. Even though there weren't many other customers, it still took forever to get our drinks which were not worth waiting for. Plus everyone just kept staring, which was very disconcerting. Or maybe these people haven't seen two AA girls out for a drink in here before??? No idea why it's rated much higher on Google as I saw no reason to ever return.
