Green Lion Café PERMANENTLY CLOSED

This restaurant is an asset to Palm Coast and one of the best we have. They have a wonderful menu and their Sunday brunch is the best around. The atmosphere is friendly and sophisticated with great views and staff make you feel welcome.

Highlight of visit: The Charcuterie Board is highly recommended.

Very good lunch and brunch spot with great view of golf course. Nice to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere. Food is very good but service can be slow at times. Drinks not too bad and although on the pricier side the quality and presentation make it worth it.

We went for Mother's Day and really enjoyed it. It's in a public golf course clubhouse but you don't need to be a golfer to enjoy it or the atmosphere. The back deck porch is wonderful to dine on and there's plenty of activity to keep you entertained. The brunch buffet was the best I've had in Palm Coast and although it was busy it truly made the day memorable. Such a nice place to have here in town.

I read all the great reviews and so we decided to give it a try. We went there recently for dinner with some friends from Canada. It took forever to get waited on and when we did, only half of our order was ready.. I had to wait another ten minutes for my Steak. Which was over cooked by the way. My wife had to get up from the table and get her own utensils. The waitress never came by. Sorry... not a very good experience. Probably just not our day.

A complete unexpected surprise! Without question the best brunch spot in Palm Coast! We arrived with few expectations but were blown away with the setting and food. It's in a very unassuming building that looks more like a triple wide golf shop but once on the veranda you're treated to amazing views and a great ambiance. Their Sunday brunch is amazing with stations for food and drinks... go for the omelette bar and Bloody Mary bar! They're all you bottomless! Mimosas too! Not enough people are aware of this as it's hidden away but I highly recommend you search it out. Top marks!

I didn't expect this place to be as good as it was. It's a sister restaurant of the Golden Lion in Flagler Beach but is much more sophisticated with an elevated menu and unique setting. We visited on a warm winter afternoon and the view from our table on the verandah was wonderful with lots of green and large oaks. The server was professional and knew the menu well and made some good recommendations. Food is a little on the pricey side but once it arrived we thought it was well worth it and good value considering the quality and presentation. The curry dish was superb and I enjoyed every bite. They have cocktails too which is a big plus for us and we were never rushed unlike many other local restaurants. I highly recommend the Green Lion and we will back for their Sunday brunch that sounds amazing.

We visited last Sunday for brunch and couldn't find fault. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. The large deck is a great asset and offers gold course views surrounded by mature oak trees. The food was delicious and cooked very well. Drinks were an excellent value for the all you can drink brunch specials. The Green Lion is an excellent use of this city facility and I recommend it highly.

We wanted to try someplace new for breakfast so dropped in here and very glad we did. The setting is magnificent and it was wonderful to dine on the large deck watching all the golfing activity. The food was great too. Not a huge breakfast menu but so much better than Denny's or IHOP! Much more fresh and creative. Service was spot on and prices reasonable. We'll try for lunch soon.

Been there three times already for dinner. Grilled Cheese is best I ever had, burgers are real good. Easy laid back and staff are so nice.

Stopped in to The Green Lion for lunch and was very pleasantly surprised. The inside is not very appealing and feels just like sitting in any public golf course clubhouse, but we had a break in the cold weather and we sat outside which was lovely with nice views across the course with beautiful oaks. Our server was charming and enthusiastic and the menu was a surprise too with several enticing dishes. Our food was presented very well and modern and tasted wonderful and very fresh. It was a nice sunny day and it was fun to see all the activity of the golfers. We are very happy to see this open in the area.

Went to the Green Lion Cafe at the Palm Harbor Golf Course in Palm Coast and the food was FANTASTIC! The Clam Chowder is absolutely one of the best in the area; the Salmon is AWESOME and our server Michelle was absolutely WONDERFUL!! Would highly recommend this place!

P.S. Hope they can persuade the City of Palm Coast to re-install cleats on the dock down by the canal so we can get there by boat.
