We ate inside and for a small Chinese takeout type place, it was very nice and clean and we had great service. We ordered crab rangoon, bean curd with mixed veggies, kung pao chicken, and shrimp and scallops in garlic sauce to share, and everything was very flavorful and tasted freshly made. The food was hot and we had leftovers to bring home. It was nice to eat Chinese food at the restaurant for a change, as most of the places around here are takeout only.

As China cafe is close to home I order from here about once a week, but I stick to the dry stirfry type dishes as many with the sauces are just too oily or sweet. The guy taking the order is mostly OK but some days he's off.

This place is starting to look a little worn down inside and could do with a coat of paint. The guy serving was nice. The General Tso's needed a bit of heat and spice as it was basically just a red sweet sauce and wouldn't order it again. The moo shu veg with pancakes was good and I'd order that again. The white rice an odd taste, not bad, just not normal.

I just dropped in and had the Hunan Beef lunch special which was very tasty and had a decent amount of meat. Good value for around $10. The restaurant is clean and I had good service. I liked it and will return again.
Highlight of visit: The Hunan Beef lunch special was very good.

Bit of a mixed bag of dishes with some good and some that could do with improvement. Chicken in the chow mein small and broccoli tough. Pork Egg Foo Young very good. Staff was friendly and the restaurant appeared clean.

I've noticed a big improvement with the food here and the quality of customer service is much better. Food tasted very tasty and the ingredients were fresh. Their sauces are excellent and I really liked the egg rolls. It's also a very nice and clean restaurant with tables, but I always get to go.

My wife and I went for lunch and her Lo-mein was under-seasoned. They only gave me 2 pieces of shrimp with my chicken and shrimp special and the rice was cold as well. The quality has gone downhill and we'll never set foot in there again. I strongly advise anyone to leave this place alone and let it fail. It sucks! đź’Ż

Called in my order and it was ready when I arrived. Food was still hot when I got home and good size of portions. The house lo mein was very good and the Szechuan chicken was tasty, but the beef with broccoli didn't have such great flavor and the meat chewy and broccoli very tough. Like most Chinese restaurants it's good to learn what they do best and stick to those dishes.

Decided to try it after stopping at Publix. Ordered the Beef LoMein. Took it home, it smelled good but as soon as I took a bite I could clearly taste "seafood " within the beef LoMein. Now, it wasn't horrible but if I order Beef, why would I clearly taste seafood? Is the wok cleaned after each order so as not to contaminate the next order? I ate it but not sure if I'd come back or maybe I'd give it another try as one questionable meal doesn't define the restaurant. We shall see. Oh, and then to top it off the complimentary fortune cookie was rubbery thus past its born on dating and was tossed. Quality control concerns here.
Highlight of visit: Restaurant was clean.

Ordered take out from here which was easy and ready fast. The Shrimp in Garlic Sauce was tasty and the Beef Lo Mein was quite good. Egg Rolls are not too bad. Overall good enough and had enough left over for another meal.

Ate in for lunch... nice and clean inside and the guy serving was very friendly. The food came out quite fast and was hot and plentiful. Everything tasted good and wasn't too greasy. Thought the prices were reasonable.
Highlight of visit: The Shrimp Chow Mein was tasty.

Ate in and really liked it. Small seating area but nicely done. Food arrived fast and was hot and steaming. All of the dishes tasted great with the Szechuan Beef being a standout. Nice crispy Egg Rolls too and rice cooked well. Not far from the beach and easy to grab take away.

Good sized portions and the food tasted great and really liked the Moo Shu Beef. We had very good service and the place is clean and actually has nice tables.
Highlight of visit: The Moo Shu Beef was very good but comes with pancake so you'll have to order rice if you want it. The Dragon & Phoenix has good flavors and offers a variety on one dish.

My GF works close by so we often meet here for lunch. It's a nice clean little cafe with friendly staff and the food is delicious. The Chinese places in Palm Coast are ghettos compared to China Cafe. Not greasy and meats are never gristly and I like that it's always consistent. This is the only Chinese restaurant in the area that I will recommend.

We have eaten from here once or twice a week over the last few years and have rarely had a bad experience. It's not greasy at all and very tasty. Egg rolls fresh and not stale and hard like most places. Their Lo Mein is excellent.

Made a large order for a bunch of people I had over and was impressed they actually got everything in the order correct. The food was all packed well and still hot and fresh when I served it. Everyone liked the food and I didn't hear any complaints and I personally thought it was far above the average of other Chinese places around. Portion sizes are large and overall good value for money.

China Cafe in Flagler Beach offers a small, clean dining space with friendly service and a menu featuring classic Chinese dishes. Customers often praise the egg rolls, dry stir-fry options, and items like Moo Shu vegetables and pork egg foo young for their fresh flavors and reasonable portions. Sauces generally receive positive notes, though some find certain dishes, such as General Tso's and beef with broccoli, underwhelming or lacking expected spice. Some diners mention occasional issues with overly sweet, oily sauces or tough vegetables, and a few have noted inconsistencies with seasoning and shrimp quantities. Overall, the cafe provides good value for lunch specials and takeout, especially if patrons choose from well-loved items. The casual atmosphere and effort in service contribute to a mostly enjoyable experience despite minor quality variations.
