Review of Carrabba's by Dean from Palm Coast
Went for dinner and food and service were very good. Greeter was welcoming and server was friendly. Everything appeared nice and clean and we felt safe. Their bread and olive oil is always great to have plus I had a Mussels appetizer and the Mahi Wulfe for an entree and both were really delicious. Boyfriend had his usual Ribeye and said it was cooked perfectly. Only negative was neither of us were too impressed with our cocktails and both took a long time to arrive. We'll stick t wine next time. No room for dessert.

We always like the food here although we rarely have the same experience twice. It's not consistent with food or service, and although never very bad, it goes from average to very good. That being said I do like their Veal Marsala and the Polla Rosa Maria. Both very tasty when done well. Bread is good with the dipping oil. Atmosphere is OK depending on where you're seated.

Carrabba's is the only chain restaurant I go to as it really doesn't feel like one and the food tastes like comes from a small neighborhood Italian place. Service very efficient and never had problems. Everything seems very fresh and love the menu options and their flavors. Only miss for me are the cocktails which haven't been so good. But they do have some nice wines and beers. Prices reasonable and the atmosphere is lively but relaxing.
Highlight of visit: My wife enjoys the Pollo Rosa Maria and my favorite is a Fillet with Bryan Topping. So delicious!

My husband and I were very disappointed with our recent dinner at Carrabba's. The food quality was not what it used to be. The Marsala sauce was very blah, the sauce on the side spaghetti was chopped canned tomatoes, and the chicken Parmesan had no side dish. We wonβt be back.
Highlight of visit: The waiter was fine.

We ordered one of their Family Bundles on GrubHub and although it took longer than expected, the ordering system and food were great. We had the Chicken Marsala Bundle and the system let's you pick all your options such as sides, salads, dressings, etc. Everything was nicely packages and we will use again.

My wife and I dined here last Saturday evening and had a wonderful meal. The Calamari appetizer was very good and our entrees of Chicken Bryan and Fettuccine Weesie were both excellent and superbly cooked. Our waiter was very polite and highly efficient and our complaint was that the bar drinks took a very long time to arrive. This was an anniversary meal and we're happy we chose to Carrabba's to celebrate at.

Went there last night at 5ish and they were already packed. We were given a table but after 10 min we still did not have anyone take a drink order. We said something to the Manager Keith who apologized and immediately sent over Brian to take our order. He was amazing as he not only took our drink order but our dinner order as well and didnβt write anything down! Brought our apps, drinks and bread quickly and we were happy!! Keith came back to check up on us and we had a great one on one.
Highlight of visit: Brian our server and Keith the Manager were amazing. I was a waitress years ago and the pressure these people are under to accommodate everyone is very stressful! We will back again for sure!

Went here recently with some friends from Canada.. The food was decent but what really turned me off was the absolutely horrendous service. I had to get up and look for someone to take out order. Like I said, the food was good, but I doubt if I will ever return. The service was awful...and.. that was reflected in the tip.. We left one dollar per person.. won't be back
Highlight of visit: The food was good but the service was crap!

Went during quiet time and service was very bad. Server had no enthusiasm and acted the whole time like it was an effort to serve us. Food took a long time to arrive and came all at once. I must admit that it was delicious and we have no complaints about the food whatsoever, but service here needs some work. I thought as it was so quite things would have been much better. I can't recommend as although the food was very good the experience was very negative. 3 stars!

Ordered take out and again had missing items. The last time the manager, Keith, told me put a note on the online order. That did no good!

What happened Carrabba's? Hadn't been here for a while until last week and noticed a big decline. Many empty tables and atmosphere flat. The service was slow and had no enthusiasm at all. Menu not really changed in years and food quality seemed to of gone down. Cocktails not very well made and tasted weak. For the money we didn't feel like we got much value and could of got better at almost any other Italian restaurant in Palm Coast. Very disappointed!

Visited last weekend and although the food was quite good the service really let it down. We had a short wait and was shown to our table by a very pleasant young lady. Our server greeted us almost immediately then disappeared for about 20 minutes. When he finally came back he offered no apology and acted like it had only been a few minutes. We gave him our drink, appetizer and entree orders all at once. A while later he brought our bread and the appetizers together but still no drinks. He said the bar tender was backed up but we hadn't even received our water yet! Entrees arrived and our small table was piled with bread, appetizers which we had only just started and now the entrees. The server was nice enough but just not efficient at all and very nonchalant. Our meal was all over the place, timing was terrible, cocktails arrived after entrees, and the table was cluttered. The food tasted quite good but honestly just not worth the hassle. We left disappointed and will not bother with Carrabba's again. We did get the bill in a timely manner though!

Have never been to this place so we decided to go. Waited for a while before we were seated and then we sat and talked waiting for a server.... Noticed several servers at the bar chatting and playing "Grab Ass". No one ever came to our table so the four of us just got up and left..As we were leaving we were approached by one of the servers. We just kept on moving out the door... never to return !! j

Visited on Friday night which was not too busy. The girls that greeted us were very nice and seated us in the bar area. Took a while to be acknowledged by a server but once he did, he was friendly and knowledgeable and offered advice. He bought water but our cocktails took forever, and looking over at the bar they had one barman who was busy chatting. We hadn't been to Carrabba's for a few years and really noticed a difference in prices. For a chain restaurant they have become expensive! We wanted a pitcher of Sangria but $32 is ridiculous! Food took a while to arrive but it was good. Our Caprese appetizer was especially good. Overall a good meal but the bar was the biggest hold up... every drink ordered was very slow coming out although they do have some good in-house cocktails. Also, if you're vegetarian lie my wife, choices are very limited here and even their marinara sauce contains anchovies.

Visited last night with work co-workers and we all had great meals. Server was busy keeping us happy and all our food tasted great and was hot and fresh, but my soup was too salty for me. A couple of our drinks were weak tasting but the Sangria was excellent. Busy atmosphere and prices fair. Use the online service before you go for getting seated faster.

We haven't been here for a couple of years and stopped in the other day for a quick bite and had a great time. We sat at the bar and just had appetizers and a spaghetti with Sangria and everything went down really well. Food was fresh and no complaints and Sangria was one of the best I've had. I won't leave it so long next time.
Highlight of visit: Sangria and calamari.

We don't visit here too often but always had a good experience whenever we have. Food is a little 'rich' for me so I usually just pick the more plain dishes such as the spaghetti with tomato sauce. My wife usually gets the Chicken Bryan which she always enjoys, and the starter salads are fresh and crisp. It does get busy during peak times but that just adds to the atmosphere. They also have some good specials that are worth signing up for. Sangria Sundays are good value. Servers are courteous and speedy.

What is it with this restaurant ,salad came after the main dinner and the salad had no dressing on it, only cheese. I am trying because it's the best restaurant in Palm Coast. This is the 4th time we had problems, such as no sauce on the pasta, hard to get butter for the bread and cold dinner. Please stop saying your sorry, sorry Per Chris Herrera or Keith White and so on "do something " I want to come back but its a problem.
When I said above that Carrabba's was the best restaurant in Palm Coast, the key is 'was', I hope it will be again, but its not now. Service is fine, for the most part the food is very good, Its timing. It would be nice if the salad came before dinner plus when you ask for extra something it came with the meal. I don't understand why its so hard to get it right. Perhaps the MGR. needs to take a harder look at the problem and stop coming over to the tables and running our dinner with friends.

I am not a big fan of the chains but one thing I expect from them is consistency and after about 3 or 4 visits here, they are not consistent. Each visit felt like a different experience where something was always wrong or staff member made us feel uneasy. Our visits have been weeks if not months apart so there wasn't any staff we recognized from before. The food portions have become smaller and the one appetizer and dish I particularly like is the calamari and the Chicken Bryan. The calamari on our last visit on Sunday was a lot smaller than before and was just like a bunch of tiny overly fried pieces. The Chicken Bryan was OK but didn't seem as tasty as I remembered. My husband, however, really liked his Veal Marsala and the barman made good cocktails. Server had a bit of an attitude and prices getting too high for reduced portion sizes. It is a nice restaurant inside though and we do like the atmosphere.
Highlight of visit: They make a great martini :-)
