Del Castillo Pizzeria CLAIMED

I recommend their Special Cuban Sandwich. Comes with Roast pork, ham and beef, and was tasty and filling. French fries were freshly made. Good service and the dining room is clean and tidy.

I am staying close by and wanted pizza but not a franchise one, and this Del Castillo showed up in the search. For a small strip mall shop it's nice inside and I like that they have tablecloths and place settings. No English spoken in here but I got by with my high school Spanish. I tried their pizza that is advertised as Cuban style which I had never heard of before, and it turned out to be a thicker pan style, and although it was on the sweeter side, it tasted very good. Even with the language barrier I would stop by again whenever I'm back in town.

Dropped in for some breakfast while waiting on the laundromat. It's a small place but it's actually very nice inside but with the two ladies working in there, neither spoke English. I just pointed on the menu at scrambled eggs wth ham croquette, bacon and cheese. It was tasty and a good breakfast for about $10. The coffee was OK. They say it's a pizza shop but no real evidence of that inside, so I guess they switch focus out of breakfast hours.
