Quite good sushi and the tuna tataki appetizer was tasty. Not impressed with the server who seemed angry about someone. Food came out quick and I liked the Phoenix Roll, but $19? The decor was nice, but the bill was not so nice.

The food was very good and I really liked the poke bowl and sushi roll. Both were very fresh and tasted great. Miso soup was nice but needed to be hotter. Service was attentive enough but not very friendly. The decor is nice but the atmosphere was kind of flattened by the waitstaff attitude. Hopefully this is a one off as I did enjoy the food.

Visited between lunch and dinner so I think the staff were hoping for downtime, as they seemed to spend more time sitting on their phones than serving on us and we felt like inconveniences. However, the chefs were happy to work and did a good job with the sushi that came out looking great and tasted very good. Not a large restaurant but the decor is cool but some music would of made the silence better.

Skilled sushi chefs that create some very good rolls. Big variety and hard to choose just a few. Japanese beer was excellent. Our server was Ok and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. You can see the chefs working which is nice.

Went here with friends and had some truly amazing sushi! Everything looked so pretty and modern and tasted very fresh. Our only problem was with the service, which wasn't very friendly and we had to keep asking for everything. The restaurant has nice vibes and decor. They just need to improve their customer service.

We have been to Sushi99 several times now. We loved the specialty sushi, very fresh and well presented. Nice touch was the first small sushi pieces on the house. Service was very nice but some smiles would make the experience even better. I also highly recommend the Poke bowls which you can “design’ yourself.

Highlight of visit: Poke bowls

It has nice decor inside but the service was not very friendly... no nice greeting or smiles from anyone. I was on my own for lunch and ordered a couple of sushi rolls that tasted good but were small pieces and I didn't feel I got much for my money. No soup or anything else offered.

Thought the food here was quite good but expensive for portion size. The tempura veggies had a nice batter and all of the our sushi arrived looking beautiful but some just had no flavor and really needed the soy sauce and wasabi to give them any taste. Others were very good though. I guess you need to learn what is good and what's not here. Nice atmosphere and our server was good.

One of the best dining experiences we had in Palm Coast! The service was very professional and the food was superb. The Shumai, Shrimp Tempura, and Soft Shell Crab appetizers were scrumptious, and our sushi rolls came out looking like a work of art. So beautiful, and so delicious with the Fire Tuna Roll being the standout one. Not a large place but has a cool modern Asian vibe. I definitely recommend it.

We had an excellent waitress who really enhanced the meal and we liked the decor and atmosphere. Our sushi looked and tasted amazing and the Pork Katsu was tender and tasty, and my friend loved the Hibachi Salmon and Shrimp. This is a nice spot in Palm Coast and a relaxing place to enjoy good Japanese food.

Good sushi and hibachi but I think they were short staffed. The rolls were nicely made and presented well, but could have had more flavor... the raw salmon had no flavor at all. The Lobster Roll and Shrimp Tempura Roll were both tasty and the Vegetable Hibachi was good.

I must admit that when the sushi came out it looked much better than it tasted. It wasn't bad but just didn't wow us and some really didn't taste of anything at all. But there were a couple of rolls that stood out and the Yaki Ebi and Beef Negimak appetizers were good. Nice ambiance and staff stiff. Overall it was decent enough but have definitely eaten better.

A Group of four of us went and ordered a whole bunch of different sushi and some appetizers to share. The order was wrong somewhere down the line and an appetizer missed, but they corrected eventually. The majority of the sushi were very tasty but a couple of them were not so good. Gyoza were tough but the rest of the appetizers good especially the tempura. Staff could smile more... they look so serious and make you feel uneasy. Deco is nice and it's very clean.

The yakitori app was very good and the sushi was delish and looked so beautiful. The restaurant is very elegant inside but the atmosphere is very dull and not in a zen way, and the waiter was like a robot without any personality. Liven the atmosphere up here and hire staff with some enthusiasm and you'll have a five star sushi restaurant.

We like the atmosphere here and always get good service and the sushi is really good. They have a great variety of rolls to choose from and they're all reasonably priced.

Highlight of visit: The Sweet Heart and Volcano Rolls are my favorite.

I liked the atmosphere in here and their sushi was very reasonable. Server was nice but we found service to be slow and it wasn't very busy. Ingredients on the sushi seemed very fresh and it was nicely presented, but flavors were very mild... some of the raw rolls had no taste at all. The Fancy Q Roll was our favorite and that was delicious. The gyoza tasted frozen like I buy from the Asian market... skins rubbery.
