Love this restaurant In our hometown of Flagler Beach. My wife and I particularly enjoy sharing the Mulcajeta specialty dinner. Served in a special Mulcajeta flaming serving dish it contains Steak, chicken, shrimp and chorizo sausage with peppers, onions, tomatoes, and jalapeños. Also there are sides of refried beans, salad w/sour cream, pico de gallo, rice, and three tortillas. We ate until completely full and took the rest home. Great salsa, chips and margaritas too, served in a beautiful holiday Caribbean setting with great service. We will keep coming back again and again!

Shout out to the crew here who work hard on Taco Tuesdays. The place was jammed yet we still had good service and the food and drinks came out in a reasonable time. Margaritas are too good 🍹 and their tacos are amazing 🌮😋

Highlight of visit: The Pineapple Steak tacos are excellent and the Tropical Island Margarita is soooo good.

No question this is the best Mexican food in Flagler County! Love the flavors and the drinks are stunning (literally)!! The food and the restaurant all look great and the staff is on the ball and friendly.

My wife and I visited Margarita Island last night and loved everything about it. This is the best Mexican restaurant in Flagler... the food was awesome and we loved the atmosphere. Our server was great and her recommendations were spot on... especially for the margaritas! It was busy and we got the last table before they started to wait, so arrive early.

Highlight of visit: The Carne Asada and the Skirt Steak with Chimichurri were awesome! The Florida Sunset is a great Margarita.

Busy and noisy and the service on the slow side especially for drinks, but it had good vibes and I really liked the food. The surf and turf burrito was excellent and loved the sriracha ranch sauce on top. Great nachos too.

By far the best Mexican restaurant in the area. Great margaritas. The food is great. I have had the cheese enchiladas and the taco salad and dying to try the fried ice cream. Fresh homemade chips and salsa, not too hot, just right for someone like me who does not like over-the-top hot. My only reason for giving three stars for service is that both times we were there, we ended up sitting at the same table and got ignored until, finally, someone came over to us. Maybe it's just the table.

Highlight of visit: Good margaritas, awesome homemade chips and salsa, can't wait to try the fried ice cream.

I highly recommend the chorizo tacos! Really delicious and I like that they use real corn tortillas. The rancheras enchiladas were awesome too. The staff are on the ball and the vibe is very cool.

Margarita Island is a big improvement all around from the previous Mexican place in there... better food, service, and ambiance. Their drinks are amazing and very strong!! The burrito verde was delicio! Two thumbs up!

Our meal here was a complete success. They had the best tacos in town and the staff and vibes were all great. Liked how they rebuilt the interior... much better... and the service is much improved. Cudos to the new people! Will be back soon.

Again, not considerably authentic and very Americanized, but still very tasty and the best I've had in Flagler so far. The food is colorful and tasty and those margs send it over the top. Been twice now and the staff very good each time. Very cool decor.

Had an enjoyable meal and good margaritas. Plan to go back soon. The decor has been refreshed with new furniture and nice color scheme. Like the dining room being separate from the bar area. No televisions blasting all over the place, just in the bar area.

The food, service and ambiance were out of this world. We are so happy we found a restaurant that puts such effort into their food, drinks and service. We are lifelong customers. Thank you Margarita Island.

Highlight of visit: We had the Bacon Goat Toreados, Island Nachos and Molcajete, they were all so delicious. We loved it so much we returned and had them all again.

The new look is much nicer and more relaxing than the previous Dahlias. Our server was terrific and took good care of us throughout. The food is beautifully presented and tasted really good. It is still very Americanized Mexican food but not as dumbed down as most places with some good flavors. The margarita was probably the highlight of my meal and was very strong. Overall Margarita Island delivered and I was very satisfied with everything here.

Highlight of visit: The Island Nachos appetizer are a meal on its own, and the Molcajete was a superb feast.

I ordered the ceviche and was disappointed. The presentation was gorgeous. The only fish were whole shrimp that were tough as shoe leather. The room was very noisy even though the restaurant wasn't full.

Sat at the bar for lunch and had really good service. The food here is really delicious, and the large margarita was a challenge to finish lol 🍹 definitely recommend this new place!

So happy to have Margarita Island, the best Mexican food in Flagler County. The Goat cheese stuffed peppers are amazing. Have loved everything we have tried. The new design is beat and our server, Madison, was great. Can’t wait to try more dishes. Love!!!

Love the new place. Brook Anders is one of the best bartenders in Flagler county. We go there just to see her. The food is delicious. Definitely a high recommendation. You have to go and see for yourself.

Highlight of visit: Queso dip with s amazing and the flantas. I’m a Tito’s girl and love the way she makes them. So good.

The food and atmosphere are fantastic. In addition, the bartender, Brooke, makes you feel very welcomed with her big smile and warm personality! She is definitely the heart of this restaurant! I suggest you sit at the bar and grab a drink before being seated. I definitely recommend having a drink and dinner at Margarita Island!

The first time we went to Margarita Island, shortly after they opened, was because one of our favorite bartenders, Brooke, is working there. The redecoration is very very nice. More relaxing atmosphere. Bar stools are much more comfortable! Food was excellent. Brooke was very attentive as always, helping us make adjustments to our orders since all four of us are on Keto diet!! She also makes great 'Skinny Margaritas!'

Highlight of visit: The Fajita Taco salad is very good, great size for lunch. Lunch fajitas were more than enough food and very good also, even with no beans, no rice or tortillas (keto diet) !!!
