Dashi Sushi PERMANENTLY CLOSED

Small place but has a nice atmosphere and wonderful food. Only problem is it always seems closed when I go there as it's a family run busy and I think they open around kid schedules. The Lava Roll is amazing as is the Sea God and my wife goes crazy for their Hawaiian Roll. They also have nice beers and the location is good. Check their opening times and visit them soon. It's good sushi.

Dashi is not your typical zenny sushi restaurant with table side service but more like a counter service place. However, the rolls are very good and are among the best I've had in Flagler area. I was impressed with the quality and how well they were made. It seems family run and everyone was friendly. Prices are about the same as other sushi restaurants even though you don't get the service or ambiance. But I do like it and no other choices like this exist in Flagler Beach.

Although you can get much better sushi in Jacksonville or Orlando, this is a good choice for local sushi. They have a good choice of rolls including all the usual options and our rolls were well presented and ingredients tasted fresh. The location is nice and prices are very reasonable. Servers friendly. Will go again.

So glad I found this little place!! It's hidden away up a side street off A1A and is a cozy friendly family run business with awesome food. I've been here a few times now and each visit was very good and food consistent. Rice on the sushi is seasoned just right and the rolls well made and taste fresh and amazing. They have a ceviche dish that is well worth trying and fits well with the location. All their items let the ingredients do the talking and they're not over dressed or fussy like many sushi restaurants. Try the gyoza dumplings too which are the best I've had. Can't wait to go back and very grateful they're here in Flagler Beach.

Don't expect your typical zen atmosphere Japanese/sushi experience here! It's a no frills simple place that fits with its beach location and has food that will knock your flip flops off. Great selection of very fresh sushi and each we had was awesome at reasonable prices. This is a nice little family place that deserves much more attention. Go support them and have some wonderful sushi at the same time.
