The pros are the location, the view from the top, the drinks, and the jerk chicken was good. The cons were it was loud, other customers being obnoxious and smoking/vaping, the restroom was nasty, and one of us had a burnt and dry burger and his fries were cold. Service was good but didn't really care about our complaints. Better run places in Flagler Beach to spend your money, but if you're up for this type of place then go for it.

We had a fun time at Tortugas last night... the band was very good and the vibe very lively. It was very busy and the servers kept up. We had some good drinks and split some appetizers which were all good... I really liked the egg rolls and conch fritters. Plenty of outside space and upper deck too... A great place.

We often stop at Tortugas for drinks and a bite when we have the dogs as they're pet friendly. We like their starters but they are entree priced and the fish tacos are very good. Cocktails are reasonable and the beer selection is very mainstream. The layout is very nice and the views are good, but the pier construction equipment gets in the way now.

My brother is town and we hung out here for the afternoon and had a great time. Service was excellent and the food was awesome... tacos and burgers are tops! We had some good drinks and were never rushed. Construction for the pier kind of kills the vibe but that's the price for progress.

They have a cool beachy Island kind of feel about the place but the service was slow and forgetful. The stuffed avocados were very good and I liked the fish tacos. My wife had a salad and spicy chicken sandwich which she enjoyed. Beers were good and cold but had service been better we would have ordered more. The band was OK but just background and not very engaging.

The views here are impressive and our server was awesome. I got a great burger - the Big Kahuna which was worth its $20! My wife was extravagant and had a lobster reuben and she said it was delicious. Add some good cold beers, a decent live band, and a fun atmosphere, and it was a great evening out.

We had an excellent meal and time here and were impressed with the food... the firecracker shrimp are awesome and the voodoo surf & turf was superb. Drinks were great and beers ice cold. The staff were busy but gave us enough attention and food came out is a reasonable time. The view and the outside seating were outstanding.

Great beachfront location... a little touristy but not a tourist trap... still good food and a fun atmosphere. Our server was friendly and drinks were good... the Bacon Plantains are a delicious app and the Rasta Penne Pasta is an awesome dish... overall we enjoyed our time at Tortugas... it's a good spot on Flagler Beach.

We like it on the second floor as we seem to get better service up there and the views are fantastic. I usually get the Hemingway burger which is awesome and my wife likes their firecracker shrimp or tuna tacos. Great drinks and a good beach bar vibe.
Highlight of visit: The Hemingway Burger is awesome! Always great when you get a fried egg on your burger!

I meet my brother here most Sundays for burgers and beers and always have great food and service. Great spot along the coast road with awesome views. Cool bar and seating area and a good place to socialize and chill.
Highlight of visit: Great burgers and usually get the Hemmingway. Their Egg Rolls are awesome as well.

They have a nice patio downstairs with relaxing seating and upstairs gives you much better views, but a different atmosphere. Service can be slow but we like the food here and the mixed cocktails drinks are very good. Just a good beachside restaurant that has a little os something for everyone.
Highlight of visit: The Baja egg rolls are so awesome I sometimes get two orders.

We always like the atmosphere here and they make some great drinks, but you have to be choosy with the food as some dishes just don't quite hit it. Their tacos are good and we love the firecracker shrimp. Fired food never tastes that great here. Service lacks when busy. Always great views and plenty of people watching as they go by.

The Hemingway Burger is a masterpiece!! $18 but worth every cent! Great service at the bar and awesome place to spend time on a hot Sunday. Great music too! Tortugas sums up Florida beach bars and is my kind of place.
Highlight of visit: The Hemingway Burger of course.

We sat on top and although it was busy we got served quickly and drinks arrived fast. The food though was a challenge as both of our first choices were not available, so we had to settle for other items which tasted quite good, but just not we originally wanted. The views of the Atlantic were nice and it had a good beachy atmosphere.

This is one of the main restaurants/bars along Flagler Beach A1A and there always seems to be a crowd there, so we finally got around to trying it for ourselves. It has nice couch like seating in the front and a bar area, and an upstairs deck with another bar. there is also and an inside section but we didn't go in there. On our visit it appeared like most were there for the bars. We just ordered beers and some appetizers which were good especially the Plantains with Bacon. We intended to order entrees after but the server never really came back except when she saw our empty starter plates and asked if we wanted the check. It kind of felt like we were being pushed out for the next group. It was getting a little party heavy for us with smoking and drinking so we decided to just pay and leave and eat elsewhere, which we did at Next Door. I think if you come where earlier or during the day it may be more of a restaurant, but as it gets dark it turns into more of a party or drinking place, and unless you're ordering up the cocktails you don't get very good treatment. It's a shame because the appetizers were very tasty.

Enjoyed the atmosphere and the views are awesome. Server was very distant and seemed bored with her job. Our food was quite good but could have done with more seasoning especially the fish tacos and fried shrimp. The drinks were good.

Fun place to hang out with good drinks. For food, I will say it's not my choice for dinner but they have some good bar bites like conch fritters and calamari, plus they have some good handhelds. Beers nice and cold and mixed drinks get the party going. Also can't beat the location and setting.

Great beachside spot with awesome views. The food was really delicious with great tacos and baja egg rolls are amazing. Beers good and cold and server was a gem! Would be happy to return here again next time in town.

Tortugas offers Latin and Caribbean flavors with a beachside twist in Flagler Beach, featuring notable dishes like fish tacos, jerk chicken, conch fritters, and burgers such as the Big Kahuna and Hemingway. Guests appreciate the inviting patio and upper deck seating for scenic ocean views, alongside a lively vibe often enhanced by live music. Drinks, including well-made margaritas and cold beers, receive positive mentions. Service can vary, sometimes slow or inattentive, yet many find the staff friendly and accommodating, especially on the second floor. The menu leans toward entrees priced for starters, and pet-friendly policies make it a casual, approachable spot. While occasional noise and the presence of smoking customers have been noted, Tortugas maintains a relaxed atmosphere suitable for socializing and enjoying outdoor coastal dining.
