Favorite place on the beach. Consistently great service, best bartenders in Flagler, and the food is amazing. I’ve never had a bad experience here. The staff and owners genuinely care about their patrons and it shows!

Great all around experience from the food to the service to the views. Burger was fantastic and drinks really good. Staff were all great and everyone pitched in. The view from upper deck is incredible and the outside seating area downstairs is awesome.

We like Tortugas and love its location, views and atmosphere. But on our visit this past weekend we felt very unsafe with large crowds of people and staff not wearing masks and with no social distancing. It's very irresponsible of management to permit this under the current circumstances and demonstrates that they don't put customer health as a high priority. We had our drink, cancelled the food order and left. However, previously we have always enjoyed everything here and the food has always been very good. Staff usually very friendly and atmosphere fun and lively. We shan't return until things get better. Have rated based on average of visits.

    Highlight of visit: Firecracker Shrimp

Went this past weekend and thought the location was excellent and the atmosphere had a relaxing vibe, and we really liked the seating arrangements for a group of people like we had. Food was mostly good especially the Jerked Chicken and Plantains Wrapped in Bacon... but one person in our party was very disappointed that they didn't offer many vegetarian choices. Beers were good but cocktails were watery. Service was very attentive. This will be a great place for a night out when the evenings get warmer.

Nice atmosphere when there's a good crowd. Service usually good but occasionally it can get sluggish. The drinks are decent and they have some good food... especially the Baja Egg Rolls and Hemingway Burger. Happy Hour is a good deal and the water views are awesome. However the smoking is terrible here and a designated area would make it much better. It stops my wife from coming with me.

OK, so the food is good, the service is good, the entertainment is good the atmosphere is good, the drinks are not so good. Best food is their is the tacos especially mojo pork and pineapple! Servers are busy and get the job done. Music is always great and with the torches and fire pit make the stetting very cool and enjoyable. My only complaint is that the drinks are not the best and taste watered down. They are OK, but not as good as they could be and let the rest down. I go for the atmosphere, location and people but would spend much more on booze if they did a better job.

Highlight of visit: Mojo Pork and Pineapple Tacos!

Like most of these beachside bar/restaurants, you go for the atmosphere and vibes and not for the food. Here you get mediocre food, okay drinks and scattered service. I found the food kind of sloppy and over seasoned. Cocktails were inconsistent but beers good. The servers were a little cold and slow. We did like the atmosphere though and besides the food and service we actually had a good time here. The crowd was cool and the band entertaining. But beware if you don't like smoke! They let people smoke and vape around diners which really sucks!

We hit Tortugas often mostly for drinks and the atmosphere which is great when busy, but on the occasion we've had food here it's been mostly disappointing. Actually, one of the biggest problems is with the service which often seems like we're more of an inconvenience than customers. Food can often be slow coming out too! But we do like the drinks and some of their appetizers are very tasty. Just wish they would get it more together as a restaurant and have servers who want to be there.

To start, we had a nice seat facing the ocean on the 2nd floor. They thoughtfully brought water before asking us what we wanted to drink. Remember when all restaurants did that? It was nice. My hubby's burger was very good. I thought my jerk chicken sandwich would be spicier but it was good anyway. The bun was good and toasted just right but way to big for the size of the chicken. I loved my crinkle cut sweet potato fries. But the best part was the key lime meringue - yumm!! You might think $8 for dessert is a little high but the slice was so big, we both shared it and still had some to take home! Oh, and our server was great, she was always right where we needed her.
