Fun place to hang out with good drinks. For food, I will say it's not my choice for dinner but they have some good bar bites like conch fritters and calamari, plus they have some good handhelds. Beers nice and cold and mixed drinks get the party going. Also can't beat the location and setting.

Great beachside spot with awesome views. The food was really delicious with great tacos and baja egg rolls are amazing. Beers good and cold and server was a gem! Would be happy to return here again next time in town.

Some of us from work met up here and had a really good time. I like the atmosphere and the music was good. We had a great table and could see everything around including the ocean. The staff were great and our food was served fast, which was OK but not the highlight of the evening. I'd say it's a fun place for drinks and apps but I wouldn't go just to get dinner.

We were told this was the best beach bar in the area but we found it to be the worst and extremely crass. Although the other establishments may not have had the best food or service, they all exhibited more class and a far nicer clientele. I don't want to sound like a British tourist snob, but we did not appreciate dining with our family surrounded by loud swearing, smoking, vaping, and raucous behavior. When I brought this to the attention of the server, she just laughed and said it pays the bills. This is one place we would definitely scratch off our list and leave it to the loud party people.

Spent a while here drinking and eating on Sunday afternoon and had a great time. It was busy but the staff handled it well and the drinks and food were awesome! Awesome tacos and spicy calamari. Tortugas is the best place on the beach! The new sign is very cool BTW!

Good location and atmosphere but service was not great. We would have drank much more but it was so slow getting drinks. Had a few apps that were quite good but not what I would call Caribbean or Floribean.

My friends, and I ordered a sampler of wings. Teriyaki, Garlic Parm, regular, and bbq. The wings were absolutely amazing and the chef Cameron did a fantastic job. Thank you Cameron. Best wings I’ve ever eaten. Staff was very friendly, and the views were amazing.
Highlight of visit: Cameron was our chef and made a couple dishes of wings which were absolutely the best wings I’ve ever eaten between my friends and I.

How does this place get away with allowing everyone to smoke? Is it not a restaurant? People smoking and vaping everywhere around diners and they even provide ashtrays. Disgusting and unhealthy! We left before our food came out as we couldn't take the smell. I took photos and will report to the Florida Department of Health and DBPR.

Loved it here! Really awesome setting and the service was the best. We ordered a selection of starters instead of a main and they were all incredible especially the firecracker shrimps and bacon plantains. Drinks were awesome and the key lime pie is well worth ordering at the end.

A bit of a tourist trap type place but I like the feel here and enjoy the food and drinks. Service can be hit or miss but they have good views on the upper deck and the couch type seating is nice. I could eat their Baja Eggrolls all day long LOL Good burgers too.

I love hanging at the beach places as I really like the whole beachy vibe thing, and this is one of my favorites. Lots of different seating options and their food is very good... their Baja egg roll are awesome and I like their tuna tacos and burgers as well. Great drinks and the place has a fun energy with good music.

Their lobster mac n cheese is incredible but burger was about average. The key lime pie was awesome. Their drinks were really good and the beachside daiquiri is a great cocktail. Our server was excellent and the atmosphere was very cool.

Review by Mikey, Palm Coast 3/5/20224.0Food:Service:Atmosphere:
The place was jammed so service was kind of stretched and slow. Cocktails were quite good but tasted different each time so maybe someone different making them. The food tasted great although portions could have been bigger.... really liked the Tuna Tacos! But up charge for sour cream? It's also very adult so don't bring young family... at least it was on this visit.

Food quality went way down. Ordered fish tacos, received a quarter size piece of fish in each of 3 tacos. It seems they are only interested in selling drinks. The rest of the people in my party were also very disappointed in their food.

It looks really nice from the street but when you get up close it's kind of run down. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks and food but was put off by the smoking and loud foul language by staff. Normally I wouldn't of minded the language so much but i was with my niece who was embarrassed. Just expected more class from bar staff but I guess this isn't that kind of place. That aside, the drinks were quite good and the food tasty... their French fries are particularly good and an unusual shape that dip well.

Tortugas in Flagler Beach offers a lively Latin and Caribbean dining experience with notable views from its upper deck. Popular dishes include the Big Kahuna and Hemingway burgers, firecracker shrimp, jerk chicken, and fish tacos, alongside flavorful appetizers like conch fritters, egg rolls, and bacon plantains. Guests appreciate the well-crafted cocktails and cold beers, with servers often providing good recommendations. Live music adds to the busy atmosphere, which some find energetic and others a bit loud, especially when the crowd is lively. While service generally meets expectations, there are occasional reports of slow or inattentive moments. The outdoor spaces and pet-friendly policy are added draws. Some minor drawbacks include inconsistency in food temperature and occasional issues with restroom cleanliness, but overall Tortugas delivers a spirited beachfront spot that blends good food, drinks, and a casual vibe.
