Nice place with potential. Ordered the eggs benedict which was quite good but hollandaise sauce was almost broken and the potatoes needed browning and... read more!
Review of Barnhill's Bar & Grill by Terry from Palm Coast
The restaurant is much bigger than we expected with different levels, rooms, and outside patios and decks, plus a nice bar lounge area. We arrived early for breakfast and the hostess was very pleasant and our server was very upbeat and patient with us. We ordered the Corned Beef Hash Cakes and the Crab Benedict and latte coffees. The lattes have a large selection of flavors to choose from, and our were delicious. Our breakfasts were wonderful. I really enjoyed the Benedict and my husband was very pleased with his Hash. We though the food to be a step up from most other local breakfast offerings and combined with high quality service and a nice atmosphere, Barnhill's is our new fave breakfast spot.
Highlight of visit: Both the Crab Benedict and the Corned Beef Hash Cakes are highly recommended.

We went for lunch and enjoyed the atmosphere and service, and the food was very good. We returned for breakfast and it was disappointing. The service was still very good, but our crepes were rubbery and almost slimy - hard to describe. I had a mixed berry one and it was very messy, and my husband a chorizo and egg one, and he like the filling just not the crepe itself. We'll come back to Barnhill's for lunch or dinner but we have better breakfast options in Flagler Beach.

Lots of wood and windows make it feel more like an Aspen resort than a Florida beach town restaurant, but it feels good inside and the staff were all friendly. We had the crab cake sandwich and a smash burger and both were very good. I really did like the burger. The tostones starter was tasty. The breakfast items looked great and I would like to come back to try.

Very disappointed. Ate there this evening. Parking within blocks is unavailable. Food and wine menu are severely limited. The bartender was indifferent and inattentive. I ordered a chicken pasta dish that was less tasteful than Marie Callendar's frozen dishes of the same or similar ingredients that was moister and more flavorful. Never again for me. I will no longer
believe Daytona News Journal restaurant reviews. She must be being paid off to give positive reviews.

The first I went I had a crepe which I really didn't like, I found it too greasy and it had a strange almost slimey texture. But today I went again with a friend and had the avocado toast which was delicious. It was more elevated than most with a lovely tomato garlic topping with poached egg and balsamic. on both visits the service was excellent and I love the atmosphere of the place.

Far better than we expected! The dining space is very unique for Flagler Beach and the menu borders on upscale. The Tostones appetizer was delicious and the Sea Bass entree was excellent. A slight point was lost for the cocktail, which was not too good. The staff all friendly and our server was really good.

We went to Barnhill's for dinner and found it has a much different vibe and style than other places in Flagler Beach, which we liked. It almost feels like a cabin restaurant in the mountains. It also has a different type of menu which is slightly more upscale and refined. We shared the Potato Petals as a starter and I recommend adding the chorizo. For entrees, I chose the Grilled Salmon and my husband had the Crab Cake. My salmon was delicious but slightly over cooked, and my husband was very happy with the crab cakes. Sauces are charged extra and the portions are not big but about right for the price. Staff were all excellent. I think when the new hotel opens next door, Barnhill's will be very popular, so enjoy it now while it's more peaceful.

Food was great.. We were celebrating an anniversary and birthday... little disappointed they didn't do anything special for us. The atmosphere was lacking for fine dining prices but a nice place.

The place is very nicely done with multi levels and outside and roof top deck seating options. Service is also very professional, friendly and attentive. We visited Barnhill's for dinner previously and very much enjoyed it, and then this weekend for breakfast, which was not as good. My wife ordered a crepe which was way too oily and did not agree with her, and I had a crabcake benedict, which was too soggy and mushy for my taste. I will rave about dinner though, with a delicious salmon dish and an excellent fillet, and the potato petals with chorizo starter was very good. I will also say that it is pricey here, but dinner was definitely worth every cent.

Loved the food and service but our server could have been better... he moved like he was hungover and didn't really offer much assistance. The Corn Croquettes and Burrata starters were awesome and the chili crunch scampi was outstanding! Nice vibes inside and I wish we could have sat on the upper deck... maybe next time.

While the food is good, it's the service and the setting and decor that make Barnhill's special. We have been here 3 or 4 times now and food has been hit or miss. Crepe was oily and rubbery, Crab Benedict very good, a grouper special with grits was amazing, the grilled salmon was like a frozen supermarket meal. They're still relatively new so I understand we can expect off days, and I'll continue to visit because I really do like it there.

We've been to Barnhill's for breakfast and enjoyed it and tonight we went for dinner, and had a very good experience. The staff are very friendly and like to chat, and the food was a big surprise. My wife's Curry Bowl was delicious and you wouldn't know it was vegetarian, and my Chili Crunch Scampi was unique and very tasty. The cocktails were a little disappointing and not very creative. The atmosphere is sophisticated and they know hospitality here and will make you feel welcome.

This is a beautiful restaurant with highly polished service and a lovely atmosphere. I have visited twice and the food is close to perfect but little details have held it back. On my first visit, I ordered the Chorizo Egg & Cheese Crepe which had great flavor. However, the cheese was not melted and cold and the crepe was rubbery. On last Sunday's visit I had the Crab Benedict which was slow coming out and tasted very good, except the potatoes were way undercooked and nowhere browned enough. I'll keep coming back as I do enjoy Barnhill's and I'm hoping they will work out the kinks.

Barnhill's has the best breakfast in Flagler Beach. Amazing sweet or savory crepes, omelets, benedicts, you name it, and you won't find better service in town. The restaurant has multi levels and seating options and is nice and bright and airy.

Barnhill's offers a very pleasant dining experience over most of the other Flagler beach establishments, with a relaxing atmosphere and very professional service. The food at Barnhill is superb and we have enjoyed them for breakfast and lunch. Lots of smiling faces here from staff and customers.

Our server was excellent and we enjoyed the atmosphere. We came from breakfast and I had a lox crepe and my husband had some kind of spicy chorizo bowl, and we both thought our dishes were delicious. They also make some good lattes with a lot of flavors to choose from. It took a long time to open this restaurant and I believe it was worth the wait.
