Sushi 99 Sushi & Grill UNCLAIMED

A Group of four of us went and ordered a whole bunch of different sushi and some appetizers to share. The order was wrong somewhere down the line and an appetizer missed, but they corrected eventually. The majority of the sushi were very tasty but a couple of them were not so good. Gyoza were tough but the rest of the appetizers good especially the tempura. Staff could smile more... they look so serious and make you feel uneasy. Deco is nice and it's very clean.

The yakitori app was very good and the sushi was delish and looked so beautiful. The restaurant is very elegant inside but the atmosphere is very dull and not in a zen way, and the waiter was like a robot without any personality. Liven the atmosphere up here and hire staff with some enthusiasm and you'll have a five star sushi restaurant.

We like the atmosphere here and always get good service and the sushi is really good. They have a great variety of rolls to choose from and they're all reasonably priced.

Highlight of visit: The Sweet Heart and Volcano Rolls are my favorite.

I liked the atmosphere in here and their sushi was very reasonable. Server was nice but we found service to be slow and it wasn't very busy. Ingredients on the sushi seemed very fresh and it was nicely presented, but flavors were very mild... some of the raw rolls had no taste at all. The Fancy Q Roll was our favorite and that was delicious. The gyoza tasted frozen like I buy from the Asian market... skins rubbery.

Slightly mixed experience here which cost them a star. First the positive; it's really nicely decorated and has a cool atmosphere plus the service was really good. We had a selection of sushi and was very impressed with the presentation and taste of each. On the negative side was their ramen bowls which were a big let down. They tasted like puddle water and only luke warm and the noodles were just a really big glutenous ball. At least I know what not to order next time and just stick to their sushi.

Very good selection and beautifully presented. Ordered just sushi and loved every roll. Looked and tasted excellent. Waitress was good and love the decor.

Quite a cool chic place with very good selection of sushi and teppanyaki dishes. Everything looked and tasted awesome and only let down was the soup, which wasn't very warm and just tested like salt water. Staff efficient and nice environment. Leave room for the fried Oreo's!

Sushi 99 definitely has the best selection and tastiest sushi in Palm Coast. So many great choices of rolls and all taste very fresh. Gyoza and Tempura are excellent appetizers and the Miso Soup is perfectly seasoned. Service is spot on and prices reasonable. Cool decor and lighting inside. Ample parking.

We had hibachi and sushi. The hibachi was not anything overwhelming but the sushi was excellent and I'd return for that any day. Very fresh, well made and presented, and tasted awesome! Great atmosphere and service. Well worth visiting if you haven't yet.

Come here with co-workers often for lunch. Sushi isn't the finest you'll find but still quite good and they have a large variety. The Hibachi dishes are good too as are the Tempura. Polite and efficient service and attractive decor. One of my favorite lunch location around Island Walk.

Highlight of visit: The Vegetable Hibachi lunch special and the Sashimi & Sushi combo special (4 pieces each).

Good sushi selection and liked all but one of our choices which was dry and fell apart. The space is well done and service good but slowed down later in the meal.

Fantastic service and cool atmosphere. For me the menu selection is awesome and I had plenty to chose from. For me vegan wife, she was very disappointed with lack of veggie options and found very little to eat. My sushi was very good and nicely presented. Soup had a bit of funny taste though. Maybe like other sushi restaurants they would like to consider some veggie rolls.
