The Anchor has a nice nautical theme inside and a casual atmosphere and the staff were friendly, but we felt rushed halfway through our meal as they started to close up and move chairs, and clean up, etc., around us while we were still eating! According to the closing time we still had nearly an hour! But the food was tasty although portions could be larger for the price. The jumbo scallops were not what I'd call jumbo! The crabcakes were very tasty.

Wow prices are really going up! $32 for crabcakes and $36 for a grilled fillet! $14 for 6 shrimp appetizer! The food was good but just wasn't worth the cost. The service and atmosphere were ok but not for fine dining prices. Maybe I'm living in the past but the total cost here was way more than I'd expect to pay for a place like this. My ratings are based on the taste of the food service and didn't adjust for cost.

We were driving the beachfront and decided to try this restaurant as it's one of the few we haven't tried in Flagler Beach yet. We found it felt a little old fashioned when we entered but the greeter was very nice and our server super friendly. The menu had many dishes that appealed to us and I ended up ordering the Seafood Potpie and my friend the Crrabcakes. Both dishes tasted good although my friend thought the balsamic didn't quite go with the Crabcakes. My Potpie was very tasty and hearty and reminded me of similar I had back in New England. They are located right across from the ocean but there isn't much of view of it, or at least not where we were seated. We did enjoy our meals and the restaurant does have a charm about it but it was pricey at over $30 just for the Crabcakes.

Tried to make a reservation not enough staff to take care of customers. Now we will need to scramble to find someplace else to eat.

I'm recommending The Anchor to anyone looking for a great seafood dining experience in Flagler Beach. We have been trying different places and this has been our best meal and service yet. It has a very nautical theme and the staff was excellent at making us feel at home and catering to our needs. Their menu has many choices and my blackened mahi mahi was moist and delicious, and my husband was very pleased with his broiled platter. The smoked salmon dip is a great appetizer and the bar made us some wonderful drinks. It is located right in the middle of Flagler Beach with lots of parking all around. Wish we had time to return but maybe one day we will be back in this area.

I highly recommend the Seafood Pot Pie which went down so well on a chilly evening at the beach... creamy sauce and fillings were delicious. Our server was very cool and was good at checking in on us often. Good prices for seafood.

A complete disaster, coconut shrimp overcooked, escargot smothered in sauce that rendered escargot tasteless, spinach overcooked to tasteless glop, shrimp flatbread covered in red sauce and cheese so that shrimp couldn't be tasted, the only good thing that was the server "Karina"? And a 90 dollar bill for 2 dinners! Overcooked and Overpriced!

"Brian" waited on us both nights we went and he was the best. Food was great and service was great. Looking forward to our next trip to Fl.

Great food and service and love everything about it. Chefs know how to cook seafood and barman knows how to mix a great drink! Staff always on the ball and atmosphere is casual and relaxing. In y opinion the best seafood on the FB strip.

This place is very good for seafood. Had a great meal here today and everyone in the dinner party loved it. Casual with a nautical theme gives it a nice feel. Our server was on the ball and the prices fair. We have been to most seafood places in the area and this our favorite so far.

Highlight of visit: My broiled platter was very excellent. Good sized lobster tail.

This is a family favorite of ours for seafood and we visit often. Very good value for seafood with a wide variety of dishes with views of the ocean. More of traditional seafood restaurant with good service and a relaxing atmosphere. Everything tastes fresh and prices very reasonable. Good pours on the wine too. Our family ranges from 12 to 82 years old and we all enjoy it.

Highlight of visit: Try some of their pasta seafood dishes. All excellent.

Our favorite restaurant. Excellent food (all of the time). Excellent, friendly service. Excellent atmosphere; charming, ocean view, with karaoke on Mondays.

Highlight of visit: Everything we have order has been excellent; the fish and chips (fries) is the best around. The waitresses are always polite, friendly; we always get great service.

This restaurant has a fun rustic nautical theme inside with a lively atmosphere when busy, especially around the bar area making it a nice place to chill with drinks and bar snacks, my favorites being the the shrimp or mahi tacos or the lobster flatbread. The seafood pasta dishes are good too but a little heavy for me. Service good and prices reasonable. Just steps from the beach too if you want to walk off dinner afterwards.

Highlight of visit: Shrimp or Mahi Tacos

My wife and I went for dinner last Thursday and enjoyed ourselves. Nothing special about the place other than it has a friendly staff, it is clean, and has reasonable priced food. Try the "early bird specials"!

    We will go again.
