Fun nautical and fishing theme inside and our waitress was very nice. We found the food to be seasoned just right for us and everything we had was perfectly cooked. The Stuffed Flounder was very good and the grilled Mahi Mahi was moist and tasty. The mimosas were only $5! We enjoyed our lunch here and we'd like to come back.

The Anchor has a nice nautical theme inside and a casual atmosphere and the staff were friendly, but we felt rushed halfway through our meal as they started to close up and move chairs, and clean up, etc., around us while we were still eating! According to the closing time we still had nearly an hour! But the food was tasty although portions could be larger for the price. The jumbo scallops were not what I'd call jumbo! The crabcakes were very tasty.

Wow prices are really going up! $32 for crabcakes and $36 for a grilled fillet! $14 for 6 shrimp appetizer! The food was good but just wasn't worth the cost. The service and atmosphere were ok but not for fine dining prices. Maybe I'm living in the past but the total cost here was way more than I'd expect to pay for a place like this. My ratings are based on the taste of the food service and didn't adjust for cost.

We were driving the beachfront and decided to try this restaurant as it's one of the few we haven't tried in Flagler Beach yet. We found it felt a little old fashioned when we entered but the greeter was very nice and our server super friendly. The menu had many dishes that appealed to us and I ended up ordering the Seafood Potpie and my friend the Crrabcakes. Both dishes tasted good although my friend thought the balsamic didn't quite go with the Crabcakes. My Potpie was very tasty and hearty and reminded me of similar I had back in New England. They are located right across from the ocean but there isn't much of view of it, or at least not where we were seated. We did enjoy our meals and the restaurant does have a charm about it but it was pricey at over $30 just for the Crabcakes.

I'm recommending The Anchor to anyone looking for a great seafood dining experience in Flagler Beach. We have been trying different places and this has been our best meal and service yet. It has a very nautical theme and the staff was excellent at making us feel at home and catering to our needs. Their menu has many choices and my blackened mahi mahi was moist and delicious, and my husband was very pleased with his broiled platter. The smoked salmon dip is a great appetizer and the bar made us some wonderful drinks. It is located right in the middle of Flagler Beach with lots of parking all around. Wish we had time to return but maybe one day we will be back in this area.

I highly recommend the Seafood Pot Pie which went down so well on a chilly evening at the beach... creamy sauce and fillings were delicious. Our server was very cool and was good at checking in on us often. Good prices for seafood.

A complete disaster, coconut shrimp overcooked, escargot smothered in sauce that rendered escargot tasteless, spinach overcooked to tasteless glop, shrimp flatbread covered in red sauce and cheese so that shrimp couldn't be tasted, the only good thing that was the server "Karina"? And a 90 dollar bill for 2 dinners! Overcooked and Overpriced!

We were visiting our friends that live in Palm Coast this month and this happens to be their favorite go to restaurants and now has become ours every time we come to visit. "Brian" waited on us both nights we went and he was the best. Food was great and service was great. Looking forward to our next trip to Fl.
Highlight of visit: Brian impressed us and the seafood was the best

The Anchor in Flagler Beach offers a welcoming seafood experience with a nautical-themed interior and a warm, attentive staff. Frequent diners appreciate classic dishes like clam chowder, oysters, shrimp tacos with mango salsa and citrus aioli, and specials such as shrimp and grits or grouper with Grand Marnier sauce. The bar serves well-crafted martinis and unique cocktails, including a popular salted caramel White Russian. Though the decor feels a bit dated to some, the cozy atmosphere and friendly service create a relaxed vibe. Portions are generally generous and seafood is fresh and well prepared. While there are occasional comments about heavy breading or plastic sauce containers, the overall value and quality make it a reliable spot for casual seafood meals and occasional steak choices. Key lime pie is frequently enjoyed for dessert.
