A no frills type place with traditional breakfast items which we really enjoyed. The service is extremely friendly and attentive, and our food was delicious. The front patio has wonderful views and we were not rushed like at other beachfront restaurants.
Highlight of visit: The Veggie Benedict was excellent and their pancakes are fluffy and light.

A friendly beachfront cafe with outside seating. Our server was very nice and we enjoyed our breakfasts. My omelet was so good and my husband said they have the best bacon he's had.

The food here was quite good and it was lovely sitting on the front patio watching the ocean. I highly recommend their pancakes. Server was very attentive and it was a wonderful place to start to our day.

I had a very good BBQ pulled pork sandwich here with a side of smoked corn. Wife liked her Turkey Club. Nice spot outside overlooking the ocean and the server was highly attentive.

We always like trying new places and By the Sea Cafe is a nice quiet and relaxing spot across from the beach with a front patio offering good views. The service here was very welcoming and efficient, and the breakfast menu is your standard American style like pancakes, omelets, eggs, etc., and our breakfasts were cooked fresh to order and tasted good. This is not a fancy place but we did enjoy it and we left well satisfied.

Stopped by here on a whim and glad we did... service was friendly and we had a really tasty breakfast. It's right across from the beach and has a very low key but charming atmosphere. Good prices.

I am recommending By The Sea Cafe for its good food and service. It was too cold to sit outside so we sat in which is small and homey. Breakfast was served quickly and cooked well. The pancakes were especially good and very fluffy. No complaints from me.

They have really good pancakes and omelets. Owner was doing the cooking and is a great guy and trained chef. Good view out front or the inside is cozy and there's a small back patio too. Service makes you feel at home. Good peaceful place for a nice brunch on Sunday.

We thought this was a good place along the A1A to enjoy a fall lunch outside. They make some very good BBQ and my wife enjoyed her turkey avocado wrap. Attentive service and we liked the atmosphere which made a change from the usual beach type places nearby.
Highlight of visit: BBQ combo platter was very good.

I had a delicious Veggie Benedict here this morning and enjoyed the lovely setting and quirky decor. The service was attentive and super friendly. Outside seating did have some annoying flying bugs so spray yourself before you go.

Great food-super friendly staff. Fun place full of character you don't see at first. But walking around inside and in the screened in side eating spaces, you'll see all kinds of cool vintage things. Salt Life Vibe is strong here!
Highlight of visit: Club Sammy is delicious, homemade Key Lime Cake is out of this world good eats

This is a small beachfront cafe with a good outside dining area. We went for a weekend breakfast and ordered an omelet each which were quite tasty and good value. Service was slow and the food took a while to come out. It's a nice enough place for a reasonable meal if you're not in a rush.

The waitress was so geeked out she could barely talk for jerking her jaw back and forth. At one point she just started whispering which was seriously weird. The fish tacos were ok, except for the strange mustard/cheese/wtH sauce that I couldn't identify to save my life. It was gross. A simple sour cream with lime zest would have made all the difference in the world. Not at all worth what I paid for it :(

Quaintish place with warm vibes but to me it has a few problems - we arrived early and sitting outside was lovely and the views of the ocean were beautiful, but within 20 minutes others arrived parking their big trucks and a even a camper out front and now no more views! Plus some were smoking out there which was disgusting around our food. Also I think they were short staffed and service was slow. But I could see they were trying their best and the food was very good. My apple pancakes were light and fluffy and my husbands meatlovers omelet was made perfectly. I don't want to sound like I'm nit picking and I know many restaurants have staff shortages right now that I get, and they can't control who or what parks out front, but the smoking can be controlled and it appeared to me they are trying to please everyone but at a cost... it's 2021 and no longer acceptable to allow smoking around dining customers.

We visit this cafe often for breakfast as it's dog friendly plus we love the food and atmosphere. It's a rustic place with lovely views and they serve the best pancakes and omelets. Haven't been for their BBQ yet but plan to soon.

Located just across the A1A so has good view of the ocean. Server had a wonderful attitude and we got our coffee and juice almost immediately. Food took longer than expected to arrive and was quite good. Potatoes were overcooked but the omelette was superb. Husband's eggs were on the under cooked side (ordered over easy) but thought everything else was good. Server apologized and offered to correct but we had waited so long for the food and had to get going. If the kitchen could work on their timing it would be a much better experience.

Visited Sunday morning for breakfast and was quite busy. It's very small and rustic with some outside seating if the weather is nice. It's also right on the A1A so it has some lovely views. The staff is very friendly and welcoming but service was a kind of slow. It's a very typical menu and we both had omelets... hubby had a Meatlover's and I had the House. Both tasted good and a good size but quite heavy and not so light and fluffy like I prefer. Their unsweetened ice tea is excellent which is hard to find around here. Overall a nice breakfast and setting but nothing very extraordinary.
