A definite improvement over the former Martin's but still some room for more. Service was slowish and the food could do with a little more care. The calamari... read more!
Review of Crave's Coastal Kitchen by Mattie from Palm Coast
We have been in Palm Coast for 21 yrs. We went to Martins 21 yrs ago and were not impressed with the owners at all. So we never went back until the new owners came. We LOVE the prime rib and I always get 2 sides of collard greens. They are amazing!!
Highlight of visit: Queen prime rib and collard greens.

This place by far is overcharged and NO good food at all. Bland food, steak not cooked to temperature type, and no compensation was offered to us or having a manager come by to apologize. We just moved here out of state and it was very disappointing with our entire family who agreed this is bar food that is over priced, along with pre frozen food that is served. Will never return here again!
Highlight of visit: Nothing was worth returning, even fountain drinks had a gross aftertaste.

Loved it! My steak was top notch and everything delicious. The server was very cool and her cocktail recommendation went down a treat. Nice oceany vibes and bar area was buzzing.

I was super excited to try this new restaurant. Don’t bother. Bland, tasteless overcooked bar food at premium prices. Shrimp was dried out, scallops were anemic with no brown color at all. Broccoli was frozen microwaved overcooked. Whole meal was just blah! I really wanted to love it but was not good.

This is our first visit since the renovations and we were impressed with how they have converted the place into a very lovely welcoming space. We started with the Halfmoon Mozzerallas which had a tasty marinara sauce, then for a main I had the crab leg special with baked potato and slaw. The crab legs were perfectly cooked and dusted with just the right amount of seasoning which I assume was Old Bay. My husband splurged on the Craves cut prime rib with a lobster tail which he thoroughly enjoyed and said it was worth the cost. I also treated myself to a Key Lime martini which I do recommend and husband stuck to his usual beer. The service was very good and we were very happy with our time here, but for us it is pricey and was a holiday treat which we couldn't afford to do every month.

Went to Craves with family today & we all had the queen cut prime rib. Was delicious & cooked as requested. Service was great. The upgrade of the restaurant looks fantastic. What a view from the upstairs dining area!
Highlight of visit: Prime Rib

Amazing rebranding and remodeling job. Food today was very good and new menu items look good. The staff are attentive, friendly and very efficient. Barmaid mixed some great drinks. It was busy so glad that it's getting popular.

Dinner tonight was amazing! The place was packed with standing room only in the bars but staff kept everything coming in a timely manner. The prime rib was awesome and their new drinks are awesome. The recent updates are wonderful and really changed it for the better. My hat is off to the new owner for turning this place around.

We stopped in for lunch and sat by the window. The first thing we noticed was that the windows are now clean and everywhere is looking so much nicer and more inviting. All the employees were friendly and the new owner stopped by to greet us. The food was very good and tasted much fresher and not as heavy as before. The Halibut special was sublime. Also, they have some wonderful drinks on the bar menu and I highly recommend the Key Lime Martini to finish off the meal. The new people here have made a great effort to improve this once neglected place and it's become our new favorite along the beach.

Used to come here often but haven't been here since before the pandemic, and with the new renovations, it does feel much nicer than it did before. Not sure if much has changed with the menu and the food was how I remember it. Server was OK and the drinks were decent. No lunch on weekdays. The outside needs something to make it more inviting. But went here for a good prime rib and I did get that!

It's been updated here since I was last here and it feels more clean and brighter, but the menu is basically the same and I thought the food was a slight improvement. The prime rib is still big and they have a very good aus ju and my wife enjoyed the maple pecan salmon, but prices as with everywhere have risen. Our server was awesome and very friendly. I wish they were open for lunch though as this food is getting too heavy for me to eat later in the day.

Vast improvement over previous ownership! Our meal was superb with delicious food and top notch service. Steaks and seafood dishes were all cooked to perfection and tasted great. Bread, salad and sides all fresh. A lot brighter and much less dank inside.

I vowed never to come back here again after several bad experiences, but as they have new owners and management my husband persuaded me to try it again and so glad we did. The new people have definitely made some big improvements and it no longer feels so moldy and musty and the service is now very professional. They have kept a similar menu as I remember it and I ordered the prime rib with shrimp which was good quality and delicious, and my husband ordered a T-bone and ate every bit. The Clam chowder had just enough spice and was very tasty too. I'm very happy to see this restaurant has turned around I hope they can maintain the improvements.

Awesome service and the best prime rib I've had for years. We were a bunch of bikers and were treated very well and with respect. All of us had either prime rib or steaks and we were all impressed with our food with everything cooked perfectly and tasted great.

Our waitress said they have a new owner that has been making some much needed improvements and it definitely shows. It feels fresher inside and the food is certainly better. My steak was cooked right and the sides good but the chowder needed to be hotter as it was barely warm. The salad was fresh. Looks like Martin's is on the up and hope it continues to improve. Maybe a name change would of been needed.

They are finnaly giving this place a much needed painting and it's starting to look a lot nicer. The prime rib was very big and had a good flavor and added a lobster tail which was worth it. I think the prices has gone up here but still good value considering.

This has to be the least inviting restaurant in Flagler Beach - with its very plain and drab exterior I drove past it twice thinking it was just an office building. Inside is a definite step back to the 70's with a lot of signs of wear and clutter and even had customers with their feet up! It seems to go beyond a relaxing atmosphere here and definitely not somewhere you'd take a date to impress. But the staff were nice and we sat by the window which allowed us to escape for a while as we gazed at the ocean.
We wanted steak and that's why we came here, so I had the Martins T-Bone Steak and my wife the Prime Rib. We both had a cup of Clam Chowder to start. The dinner rolls provided looked very anemic and needed more time in the oven to brown. The chowder was good and more delicate than I expected. Our steaks arrived we gasped at the sizes! My T-Bone, ordered medium rare, was a bloody mess on the plate and my wife's Prime Rib lacked seasoning. Neither tasted very good with almost no meat flavor, just the grill taste. No much choice of sides - so I just had a baked potato and coleslaw. Drinks tasted watery so we quickly switched to beers.
Looking around people appeared to be loving the experience, but alas we couldn't say the same. You get a mass of inexpensive food here so don't expect passionately cooked steaks with a nice sauce. If this is your idea of a great meal then please enjoy. We're visiting this area for an event, and was recommended Martin's by the hotel and will make a point of letting them know of our experience. Maybe it would be better as an office building.

On the beach and cheap, what else would you want? They have cold beer. Nice people and a southern charming place. You want better steaks go two Daytona and pay 3 times the price. God please stay safe.

Why does everyone bash this place? Nowhere else around here can you get so much steak or seafood for the money. It's not 5 star inside but prices good and service and atmosphere adequate. Always leave full and satisfied.
