It was a beautiful weekend day so we thought it would be nice to eat outside somewhere so we stopped by Cajun Beach, but we were really disappointed.... read more!
Review of Cajun Beach Boil and Sushi by Wyatt from Palm Coast
They had a good atmosphere and we had fun playing cornhole with some good drinks. The volcano sushi roll was good but didn't try any of the Cajun items. The locale is great and is a good summer beachside spot.

We saw their add for sushi on Facebook and t looked really good so we went for dinner, but was told the sushi chef had left for the day! I ordered a burger which was decent but I just had my heart set on sushi. I guess it should be called Cajun Beach Boil and Occasional Sushi. Good service and vibe.

The Jambalaya was quite good and the drinks were okay. Service was slow but it was friendly. The bar outside is nice and the atmosphere was very chill.

The shrimps and grits were delicious and staff were great. The cocktail I had was not the best. Their setting is nice and I'm sure it will be much nicer in better weather,

A couple of beers and some gumbo went down well. The view didn't hurt either. Service slow but friendly. Good enough to go back again.

Just sat at the bar and had the boudin balls and a Cajun hot dog with a beer, and everything was very good. Service at the bar was friendly and I chatted with a local guy who was cool. I'm sure if the weather was better that this will be a really good spot.

We did not receive a very good welcome and bar server had no hospitality skills whatsoever. Drinks were meh! We just had some appetizers which were quite good and the guy bringing them out was nice. A big disappointment though as it looked a fun spot.

We really liked the set up here with its outside bar and plenty of seating with beach views. The staff very friendly but the quality of service dropped off after we got our food and drinks. They seem to be offering a lot in the way of food and the menu is all over the place, but we went for some Cajun items as they seem to be their specialty, and we did enjoy what we had. The boudin balls are very tasty and the gumbo and jambalaya were good flavorful dishes, but the cocktails were a letdown.

Sat at the outside bar and had beers and their gumbo which is outstanding. Staff all very nice and they have a great location and set up. Great place to spend a Sunday afternoon.
Highlight of visit: The gumbo is very tasty.

Much better than it was on my previous visit!! Best experienced outside but the bar had what appeared to be some serious day drinkers who kept smoking which was off putting. Service was okay and the drinks we ordered were not great, BUT three of us really liked our food except for one of us who is vegan and just had to munch on a plate of plain fries. The Boudin Balls and Jambalaya were favorites.

Service was lacking but had some good sushi rolls and cold beers. Wife was disappointed with the cocktail. Good setup and view.

We stopped after driving past here as it looked like a nice spot, but once there it was a disappointment. It lacked atmosphere and the staff seemed very uninterested or enthusiastic. From getting a menu to ordering drinks and getting food was an effort. After a very long wait I did get my jamabalya which was actually quite good, but everything else including the cocktails was very substandard. Definitely the worst experience of our trip.

Looking for a bite along Flagler Beach we stopped here and loved it! The place is nicely laid out and we had a table outside with great views. Our food was delicious... the fried green tomatoes and the wings were so good. Great service and good music too. Got to come back for the gumbo which sounded good.

Service at the bar was not good. It wasn't very busy but bartender chatting and didn't acknowledge us. Finally got a menu then hard to get his attention after to order. The cocktails were watery and tasted weak. The gumbo was good but would have liked some bread or crackers or something. At least I got to try it but doubt I'd return.

I definitely recommend the Biloxi Boil which was excellent... it's about $46 but enough for two of us so not so bad. So much to eat and crab legs very meaty. The beers were nice and cold and the vibe was cool. We objected to the smokers though which shouldn't be allowed.

Quite a cool layout with a nice outside area overlooking the ocean that appears to be catering to the party crowd. It took a while to be acknowledged by staff and after our server was very good. They have an eclectic menu and we went with some small plates to go with our drinks. The Boudin Balls were good, the Voodoo Shrimp I wouldn't order again, and we had one excellent sushi called something like What She Said and some Bayou one we didn't care for. Overall we had a good time and enjoyed our drinks but it's not a place we'd visit for the food as there are far better restaurants in Flagler Beach.

It was a beautiful weekend day so we thought it would be nice to eat outside somewhere so we stopped by Cajun Beach, but we were really disappointed. It's basically an outdoor dive bar with lots of smoking around the food and loud bad language. very off putting and the lack of customer service didn't help. The food may have been good but we just couldn't enjoy it with the way they run this place. very disappointing.

I sat at the bar and just drinks and a sushi roll called That's What She Said which has tuna, salmon and crab and was absolutely incredible... best roll I've ever had! Drinks were good but nothing special. The weather could have been nicer and I would have enjoyed it more here, but that's not their fault.
Highlight of visit: The That's What She Said sushi was incredible!

The problem with these eclectic menus is that it's hard to get your mind around what to eat. I'm all for a variety but the food should have a common thread, but here it just seems all over the place from Cajun to Japanese with some Korean thrown in. To top it off, the food had better be very good, but unfortunately it falls flat. The gumbo I thought would be their specialty was disappointing and a dull, muddy dish, but I liked the crab cakes appetizer and the Cajun Boudin balls were fun. The setting is impressive and the service was OK, but for the high prices and portion sizes, I wouldn't recommend the food here. Thin down the menu and refine the dishes make it a really good Cajun restaurant by the beach, and I think they would have more success.

Stopped in on my own and sat at the bar. I had heard many mixed reviews of this place so had to try for myself. Very quiet when I arrived but a few came in after. Got good service from the bar lady and she made a couple of good drinks. I just ordered some gumbo and sushi, and both were quite impressive. I couldn't tell an authentic gumbo from a can of Campbells, but I really liked it. The sushi had a strange name that I can't recall, but it was basically a fusion Cajun roll which was very interesting. I would come back here and I like the atmosphere and setting, but would be much better if my wife was with me (just in case she reads this 😉)!
