Uncork'd Wine Bar CLAIMED

This is an unassuming yet stylish wine bar hidden in a strip mall a block or two from the ocean. The people are friendly and the other patrons were a nice bunch. We shared a very good bottle of Cali Chardonnay that was reasonably priced. Please note that I rated 5 stars for the wine and not the food, as I don't think they serve any. Uncord'k offers a pleasant relaxing respite from the heat without the brash bars crowd.

Wine selection is not too adventurous with predominantly CA domestic wines, but a few interesting ones and the bottle we had wasn't too bad. Staff is very friendly but dim the lights... feels like a showroom in there.

A small and peaceful place to relax with some good wine. The staff was friendly and shared favorites. This would make a good pre-dinner warm up spot.

A friend and I enjoyed a couple of hours here with some good wine and conversation. Nice crowd of people and the staff are excellent. They definitely love their wine here but it would be really nice to have some tapas offered.

I had no idea this place existed until my GF wanted to meet me here! It's at the end of a small strip small and is quite unassuming inside and does not have the typical wine bar setting. In fact, it felt a bit like being at an office party. But it's immaculate with some lovely artwork and fun bits around, and the service is warm and friendly. I don't know if they have a food menu, but we just had a bottle of Chardonnay which was very good and reasonably priced. It's a nice place to sit and catch up with a friend as I did.

Not very fancy but staff very passionate and knowledgable about wine. Atmosphere could be more intimate and they need more food options.

Very nice place to sip and relax and enjoy good conversations. The staff here is amazing and you quickly feel at home. They have an interesting wine list but I'd like to see more options for food... It was a great place to have some tapas for example. Because of that, it's not somewhere I'd like to spend a whole night but a great spot for a couple of drinks away from the beach crowds.

My favorite place to go! A woman can go there alone and feel perfectly comfortable. They have a great selection of wine.

Good wine selection with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Wife and I sat and enjoyed a couple of glasses each which were very good. The setup inside is nice but the atmosphere was kind of dull as it wasn't very busy and I think it would be better with more people.

Quite a stylish place with a good wine selection and very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Needs more food choices! Can't drink much wine without... it doesn't look like they have much of a prep area or kitchen though.

Visited with a girlfriend and I guess we were kind of expecting more with maybe some tapas and more of an intimate wine bar type atmosphere instead of an open gallery feel, but still enjoyed it and thought the staff was very welcoming and the wines very good. Just felt like something was missing.

Excellent wine choices. Julie and Keith are wonderful they know all about their wines. A wonderful place to relax in a great atmosphere.

Staff was very attentive and made some great suggestions with offers of sampling to make sure we chose the right wine! We’ll be back!
