Denny's Restaurant PERMANENTLY CLOSED

Had great service and food was a big improvement from my last visit. Big breakfast at a reasonable price. I don't expect anything high end from Denny's but it's good value and tasty, server very friendly, and restaurant was conformable and clean.

Just had breakfast here with no complaints. Pancakes very good and coffee fresh. Clean areas and staff friendly with good knowledge of the menu. We were early so no waiting and food came out quickly. Priced reasonably.

Went here a few years ago and it was a terrible experience, but returned again today for Sunday breakfast and had a much more positive experience. The restaurant felt cleaner and the service friendlier and more efficient. The food was fresh and cooked as expected. I hope it remains at this standard.

Been here two times now and everything is about average hence the 2.5 stars. Not great and not bad and that goes for the food, the service and the atmosphere. The menu does have just about something for everyone except those wanting to eat healthy! The cook seems heavy handed on the salt too so watch out. Other customers were very old and all looked very glum LOL I've been here twice but unless it's 1 am after some drinks I doubt there will be a third time!

I came in with 3 friends on Friday night and Greg the manager on duty on staff did an amazing job with our food and service. The All American burger was the best I got another to go. Greg invited us to come back and bring 15 more people and I said OK if he would cook for me. Soooo I came back the next night with 24 people from my church group. Surprise! lol Debbie did a great job as our server but Greg went back in the kitchen and knock everyone's meal out perfect. I just wish some of the drinks had free refills but that is really a complaint. I will be back again and so will several other people in our group. Thank you Denny's for getting your staff on track. Whatever your doing keep doing it!

This place is AWFUL.... nasty floors.. .nasty tables.... the worse service I have ever had! We waited 15 minutes to be seated....10 minutes to order drinks... .another 10 minutes for our food orders!

We never GOT our orders! We waited 50 minutes before we left. Not one sorry! I asked to speak to the manager and a very rude man said you can't see him he is cooking. Sure they will say they were busy. But 6 tables around us got their food. Our waiter should not be waiting on people. Checked on us one time in 50 minutes. This store ought to be closed! I am also sending a report to the health department... Better Business... and calling home office of Denny's to see who this franchise belongs to.

I have given this place 3 tries and I am done. It's always dirty, the staff act like I am their inconvenience and Veterans Day 2017 couldn't have been worse. Not only did they post the Veterans Day notice in the door, but they attached a note saying "sorry, not today." Well as a vet, I was there, so may as well just bite the bullet. When I went to pay, the other customers and I had plenty of time to compare notes and if you are a AARP you can get a much better discount than the Veterans discount on Veterans Day. God bless America.

I never go in to a Denny's with very high expectations but I do at least expect it to be clean, service friendly and the food to be as described on the menu. I didn't get either of these at this Denny's. How it got so grimy after recently being renovated shows a complete lack of concern for the place by management/staff. Also, getting a glimpse of the cook was a shocker! Just the sight of this unkempt dirty man preparing my food was enough. I think this place only survives on the ate night drunks and stoners. Respect what you eat and move on to the next place.

They took so long to update the interior which is a vast improvement but it's the same old greasy spoon menu. Service was good and friendly but the food is just so outdated and unhealthy. I'm glad they finally made the effort to clean this restaurant up after years of taking peoples in money in truly awful conditions. No reason to ever visit here again!

What a difference! New great look and very clean... will be going back.

I recently wrote to the home office of Denny's complaining that the restaurant's condition was awful and that it's probably hurting their business.. Well today we visited and found that Denny's was closed for a week in order to remodel. WHAT a difference a week made. The place looks great with new tile floors, new booths, tables, chairs, better lighting and a new ceiling. The place was packed so service was a little slow but the food was a good as ever and our waitress (poor thing) was tired but attentive. So, you should give it another try.

We moved here 4 years ago. We started going to Denny's for breakfast a couple of times a week and have continued to do so ever since. Yes the place has been in bad need of repair and upgrading. New ownership and things are starting to improve in process of remodeling etc. However, we go to Denny's because of the outstanding staff and have always gotten fresh coffee and a hot quick satisfying breakfast and will remain loyal to this Denny's. Look forward to the must needed remodeling as does the staff.

Hands down the most disgustingly, dirty restaurant I have ever been in. From greasy seats, tables and floors. To roach crap smeared all over the walls. Seriously!!!! I can not believe the health department hasn't shut this place down yet. My son could not even eat he was so disgusted. That is just ridiculous.

This Denny's is the most dirty disgusting place ever to eat. I love going to Denny's, but not this one. The bathrooms and kitchen are not clean, beyond filthy. Owner doesn't seem to care. I wrote the corporate office and no one contacted me back. I told the manger the day I was there, poop on toilet seats, dirt every where, dirty glasses. He said I will get someone on it? Yet the next time we tried it one more time and just as dirty, and I contact Corporate again, no call back. This place needs Restaurant Impossible to clean it up!

The staff are good and seem to be the only thing holding this place together. Food is absolutely terrible! It's greasy, salty and nasty. In this day I don't understand how these kind of crappy old diners still survive. I can still taste the old grease and stale coffee two hours after leaving.

The place is packed, because not where much to go and eat in Palm Coast. The food is OK, but takes a long time and not happy to pay almost $10 for a tuna sandwich that had about 1/8 of a can of tuna on it with a few pieces of fruit. The pancakes, french toast and some sandwiches are OK. But this Denny's is not as good as the others I have eaten across the US.

Went 8/3 early P.M., for lunch. It was a very busy day with travelers and locals. In spite of the large number of guests, service was quite good. they have a way of cooking grilled chicken breast and it is the best around. BUT, to look around the floor had not been cleaned in quite a while which can ruin your desire to eat. Plus the place is in such bad repair, was told the AC was not up to par and they wont fix it. The remodel date has been changed a number of times but no one can say when. Of course with Perkins closed the travels haven't got much choice but the appearance I an sure can leave a bad taste in their mouth about Palm Coast.

Went on Christmas for lunch, I have never seen Dennys so crowded, but it is the only game in town other than Chinese. The work effort by the entire service crew was excellent. They never stopped delivering platters as soon as soon as they were ready.

Remember that the waitress crew for the most part had been there since 6:00 AM and still going strong. Great effort on everyone's part. The mgr. was even on the dishwasher.

Now if the Corp. behind this Denny's can finally get this place rebuilt and updated, maybe they will get more regular business and a place we can be proud to go to.

I went to Denny's with one other person, expecting a simple enjoyable breakfast. We arrived there at approximately 10:30 and were seated, given our menus and our drinks. I immediately noticed the horrible smell coming from the booth we were seated at. It smelled sour, like urine, and I then quickly noticed that the restaurant was very dirty. Floors were dirty, booth was dirty/sticky, utensils had some weird residue on it and the menu had brown stains and had an odd odor coming from it. I've eaten at dirty restaurants so I overlooked it. Our waitress came back quickly after giving us our drinks, asked if we had decided on anything and we said we would need a couple more minutes. She left and proceeded to ignore us for about 20 minutes. It took about 30 minutes for our food to be ready, but our waitress looked way too busy chatting with her coworkers and ignoring her tables to deliver our food. We were ready to walk out when she finally gave us our food, and sadly it wasn't really good at all for the money we spent on it and we barely ate any of it. Overall, our experience was horrible.

This Denny's is dirty, slow, and is not worth going to. I'm pretty sure most of Denny's business comes from people who are too under the influence to care that it looks and smells the way it does.

I go for the chicken noodle soup with a coupon special. I had the salad with it, just average and without a fat free dressing. Their bacon specials do nothing for me at all, not healthy.

Tired of hearing excuses on not fixing the place up, it is just old and worn out, wall paper falling off, front door needs painting, grills need cleaning and on and on. Yet they have some of the best servers in town.
