Review of Hi Tulip Cafe by Phil from Palm Coast
This is a really great spot for breakfast with some interesting items on the menu and very good coffee, which is a must for me! Any of their benedicts or omelets are recommended. Well worth checking this place out.

Had Hanna as a waitress and she was the rudest person I have ever dealt with. I ordered pancakes when they came they had a ton of powdered sugar all over them. I hate powdered sugar. I have never heard of powdered sugar on pancakes. if I would have known I surly would have ordered them without. I asked for an extra plate so I could put the one with the sugar on it on that plate and eat the one without A problem. Hanna brought the plate and I put it on it. she walked away and I said to my husband I have never heard of powdered sugar on pancakes before. Next thing I know Hanna says "Next time order them without the sugar on them. " very rudely.
Like said I would have if I would have known. Next thing I know she tells Dawn to take over for her because I was being a bi$$h. I hadn't said anything to her.
Dawn came over and was great as always. Then Hanna comes over and said thank you and you have a nice day! to my husband. Then looked at me and said you have a better day. "just as rude as she could be. She had handed us over to Dawn. It was out of pure meanness that she did that. I did nothing to her. I didn't deserve her rudeness. I work with a lot of people and I have put it on the message board for all to see. How she treated me was grounds to be fired.
Highlight of visit: Dawn

Breakfast on Sunday was excellent. The staff were friendly and worked hard and the food was delicious. The Philly Benedict won my fussy husband over and the Greek Omelet I had was superb. It has a bit of a diner feel inside and is very welcoming. We shall be back for sure.

Hi Tulip is one of best breakfast options close to Flagler Beach... our breakfasts were all delicious and the customer service very attentive and friendly. Eggs cooked perfectly and nothing greasy like at most other places. Clean restrooms and very comfortable restaurant.

Five stars all around for a really excellent breakfast. The food was delicious and looked great too, and the service we had was top-notch. Couldn't have wished for a better server. Even the coffee was amazing. Prices are very reasonable and we thought the quality of ingredients was very high. By far the best place we've found for breakfast in all of Flagler.
Highlight of visit: We had a Philly Steak Benedict and a Portobello Mushroom Omelette and both were perfectly made and tasted great.

Our first time here and thought it was wonderful. Our server was excellent and I wish I could of taken him home 😍 and the food was so delicious and high quality 😋 Hubby loved his Cuban Omelet and said it was very original and my Egg Benedict was divine. They also make coffees like at a Starbucks but for much cheaper and tasted better and a great selection of loose teas. So happy we found Hi Tulip and we will be regulars.

Our server was very nice but the food took a while to arrive and my 9 year old son started to get fidgety but once it did arrive it was excellent. The family loved each of their breakfasts and my Crab Benedict was so delish. Even the coffee is worth a visit alone.
Highlight of visit: My Crab Benedict was so tasty and my husband raved about his Steak & Eggs.

We had a lovely breakfast here today. Our server couldn't have been nicer and the food delicious. Their menu covers so much and everything sounded good making it difficult to choose. They also have an amazing selection of coffees and loose teas. We would have liked to sit outside as that area looked nice but the weather was not very good. I believe this shall become a regular breakfast spot for us from now on.

Busy but got seated quickly. Our server was really nice and I loved the choices on the menu. I ordered the vegetable omelet and it was cooked perfectly and delicious. My husband chose the Philly steak benedict and ate every bite. They have generous portions and the prices are very good for what you get.

Breakfast this morning was fabulous and our server was a darling. Many very good coffee options which aren't offered at other diners and many different menu items too. The Shrimp and Lobster Omelet is absolutely the best 😋😋😋 and my son cleaned his plate of Steak and Eggs. Outside seating very nice.

A high quality restaurant! Had breakfast here today and we thought it was the best dining experience we've had for a long time. First off the server was fabulous and was great taking care of my old mom's fussy requests, second they have coffees to match any from a coffee shop, and lastly our food was delicious. My Tulip Benedict was a delight and my mom was very happy to see quiche on the menu which is one of her favorites and rarely seen in restaurants anymore. Hubby had Chicken and Waffles and loved the spicy Cajun syrup. We all left very satisfied, full and happy. Wish we had discovered this restaurant earlier.

I have only been here for breakfast and I enjoy its atmosphere and service. Although not anything special,t he food here is good and it is always consistent which is not always the case in other nearby restaurants. Their benedicts are good and they can make a good omelet too. Also the Monte Cristo French Toast is well worth a try. The espresso bar with choice of flavorings and syrups is a good choice too. Seating in or out and they follow CDC guidelines.

Food was excellent. Atmosphere was quaint local mom pop, very comfortable. Staff was very pleasant and eager to serve. Beyond being a friendly clean local restaurant I was extremely impressed by the covid precautions in place. As a high risk individual, after almost 10 months of not dining out or take out, I felt extremely comfortable dining here. Clean, everything wiped down, face masks, social distancing. I will be back and often. Thank you Hi Tulip for setting such a great standard and having such a wonderful staff and food.
Highlight of visit: We were three in our party and chose several different breakfast items. Cheese omelet, pancakes, sausage and gravy, waffles corn fritters. Sides of home fries, biscuits, all were served hot and delicious. Mary our server was attentive and offered several great recommendations. Can’t wait to go back to sample more dishes and hit up their lunch items.

Went for breakfast and the food was good with some nice sounding and unique items on the menu. Coffee was a let down though being weak and kind of stale tasting. Service was efficient but could have been friendlier. Nice place inside with relaxing atmosphere and clean.
Highlight of visit: Stuffed French toast was very tasty.

We always seek out smaller independent restaurants like this and will choose over the chains. Here the food and service are excellent. We had a very friendly young man greet us and our server was a delight. My Tulip Eggs Benedict was incredible and served on a croissant, and my husband enjoyed his omelet. Nice cozy setting and very clean practices. Wish were staying longer but will visit again when we return.

We ordered their special last week of chicken pot pie and salad for two, and loved it. The pie had good crust and was very tasty. Salad was a typical garden salad but was fresh. Local delivery only but they have pickup and prices reasonable for specials. Look for their 99c pancakes!
