Review of Green Lion Café by Beth from Palm Coast
When this closes we are going to lose the best Sunday brunch in Palm Coast! We don't have many Sundays left until then, so I highly recommend you try them while you can, as the food and atmosphere are really special.

So sad this is closing as I really look forward to lunch here after a round of golf. They have an excellent menu and the best servers, plus that back deck gives you a view of the course's activities. Love their sandwiches and truffle fries.

Hard to imagine this awesome thriving restaurant is closing soon, it really has established the golf course and I have yet to find a better 19th hole anywhere else on a public course. Their breakfasts are excellent one of their sandwiches and a cold beer go down so well after a round. Never had bad service and the verandah is one of the best places to dine in Palm Coast.

I'm a golfer and frequent diner at the Green Lion Cafe and want to praise the owners and staff for making this such a wonderful place. The food is very good, but above all, it pulls the golfing community together and without it, this course would be just another dull experience. I encourage everyone to support this worthy restaurant. Sometimes it takes more than just money and a few holes to make a great course. There's no other 19th hole like this in the area even at the expensive private courses.

Very classy place and loved everything about it. Great location with excellent menu and everything we ate was delicious. Service professional. Prices reasonable for what felt like upscale dining. Had a nice celebration meal and the entire family was impressed.

My wife and I had an amazing meal and experience here for her birthday. We sat outside and enjoyed the ambiance and the food quality was superb. My filet on Texas toast was excellent and my wife thought the seafood pot pie was delicious. Their prices are very fair and the cocktails are very good too. I highly recommend the Green Lion Cafe to anyone wanting a more elegant dining experience in Palm Coast.

The service was very good and the setting is very unique. Plenty of golfing activities to watch while dining. For lunch, the cobb salad was very good and the tuna salad sandwich was quite good but needed a little more seasoning. Sitting on the patio is far better than inside.

Don't be put off by the location - it's in a city owned pro-shop on the golf course but once inside or on the back porch it's a very sophisticated little bistro type place. The service is professional and the food is very modern and very delicious. Everything we've had from the menu so far has been marvelous and they have the best Sunday brunch in Palm Coast as well.

We have always enjoyed The Green Lion's sister restaurant The Golden Lion, so was happy to finally get to visit here for lunch and was not disappointed. Our server was excellent and the food fabulous. I treated myself to a $20 fillet mignon sandwich and it was worth every penny... so yummy! My 14 year old son ordered the hot dog and couldn't believe his eyes when it arrived! It was so big and all with all the condiments on the side it was fun for him to build it how he liked. The hand cut fries were also very good. In addition it's a fun spot too with lots of activity and beautiful views over the lawns and trees.

You won't find more professional or friendlier staff in Palm Coast. Food is consistent and always beautifully presented and delicious. The setting on the back porch is delightful and the views are wonderful. Make reservations for Sunday brunch and busy times.

LOVED the pancakes and fruit selections. Great brunch! Service started off very good but disappeared two thirds through the meal. Ambiance is sophisticated but casual. Parking was difficult with all car parks full and one golfer called us out for parking to eat when he had his golf bag to carry.

Don't compare to the Golden Lion... everything here is more sophisticated. The food is modern American bistro style and they have some great dishes on the menu. Servers are excellent and the atmosphere is very unique for Palm Coast. We've visited here several times and have loved it each time. It's off the main roads so easily missed but well worth seeking out.

Very little to complain about. The view and seating was wonderful, our server was excellent and the food tasted great. Varied menu and a good spot for an out of the way lunch. It's on the golf course but no need to be a member to enjoy. The large rear deck allows for outdoor social distancing so you'll feel safe.

Love sitting on the back deck but inside, although nice, doesn't have the same appeal or atmosphere. Service is friendly but sometimes slow. The menu is varied and the food is excellent. They also has a wonderful Sunday brunch and good cocktails. It's off the beaten track so not many know it's there but well worth finding.

Lovely outside eating area where you can enjoy a relaxing atmosphere. Service is processional and friendly and the menu has so many tempting items. Everything I've had so far has been wonderful especially the Chicken Curry. Sunday brunch looks amazing and we'll visit that soon. Cocktails are a huge plus too.
