Very good food and service. I sat outside which is often badly serviced at most restaurants but our server was super attentive and came back out to check... read more!
Review of Metro Diner by Eleanor from Palm Coast
Old school diner type place with breakfast all day and some good dinner options too. The pulled pork waffle is an odd concoction but it works and love the fried cheese curds. Service can be hit or miss and car park is horrible.

We were without power from Milton so grateful Metro was open to feed us. Had a great and sympathetic server and our breakfasts really went down a treat. First hot meal in a few days so tasted extra special - maybe on a normal day not so much but today was fantastic. It was busy but the food came out quickly which was welcomed by impatient kids entow.

Had a great breakfast here. Metro knows how to please! Fried Chicken and Waffles is one mighty breakfast. That spicy sauce is so good. Always get great service.

My family loves going to Metro for breakfast and dinner, but I honestly don't care for it too much... it's just not to my liking, but they enjoy it and that's what matters. I get by with pancakes or a burger which are usually OK.

It gets busy here and then I don't like the atmosphere or service... kind of feels like you're rushed and part of a factory line, plus the food seems like it's cooked in haste. So now when it's busy we just go elsewhere. But when it's quiet we enjoy it and the food and service are much better.

You can rely on Metro for a good breakfast. Good service and it feels like the diners we had back up north. Large menu and good for waffles, pancakes and omelets. It definitely beats IHOP or Denny's.

The Chicken Pot Pie was good... liked the biscuit style crust and the sauce was creamy and tasty. Server was cool but slow. It's a busy spot.

Many people recommended Metro for breakfast to us but we found it disappointing. It's a busy place and not the most relaxing. The breakfast potatoes were greasy and overcooked, and eggs not as requested. My bacon was rubbery and the toast was cold. My sister had the Avo Toast which was underseasoned. It looks like a lot of people enjoy Metro but it's just not our style I guess!

It's true they have a big menu and our breakfast were quite good. Service needed to be better with drink refills. Overall a good fill for a reasonable price.

A really good place to have breakfast... we always bring guests to Metro when in town and they never disappoint. Big menu to please everyone and the food never takes long. Staff work hard here and even when busy the service doesn't waver.
Highlight of visit: Good omelets and they make excellent bread pudding.

It was super busy but we still had good service and our server kept the coffee filled. Our breakfasts were all very good except my egg were overcooked, but everything else was spot on. The booths aren't the most comfortable but I guess they don't want you hanging around too long.

Breakfast here was good, but everything was on the heavy side for me and very excessive. My daughter had avocado toast and said it was the worst she's ever had with hard dry bread and no flavor. Service was very attentive. Just not for me here but it looked like others were enjoying it.

We are a family of five with individual tastes and we all left here very satisfied. We had an awesome server who was kind and attentive. Our breakfasts all tasted great. Our two youngest ordered from the kid's menu which had some great choices and far more variety than most other places, and they were very happy. Our eldest had a scramble bowl with avocado and loved it. My wife and I thought our meals were excellent with perfectly cooked eggs and everything looking and tasting fresh. We did have a bit of a wait to be seated but it was peak time on Sunday morning, but it was well worth it.
Highlight of visit: Our server was really good and we like that they have such a variety which really helps with fussy kids.

I wasn't too impressed when I first came here a few months ago, but today was like a different experience, with excellent food and terrific service. Eggs cooked just how I asked and everything else tasted delicious and fresh. The server was so friendly and helpful and kept the coffee coming. Big improvement and left very pleased and full.

Five of us went for breakfast and we had awesome service and great food. We all ordered different items and everything was cooked as requested and tasted great with large portions. Three fussy kids and a hard to please husband were all very well satisfied. Good coffee and the restaurant was nice and clean including the restroom.

Very popular place for breakfast which is very good, but we always only seem to make it here for dinner which is also good. They do a big selection of items on the menu including breakfast for dinner which the kids like, and I like the steak tips or pot roast. Wife usually gets a salad. Servers are good but sometimes they're short staffed which can slow things down.

Went early for Sunday breakfast and was already a line but it went down quite fast. Our server was very good and she immediately brought coffee which was always kept topped up, and our food arrived quickly considering how busy it was. We're a family of four and we all loved our breakfasts. Kids love the waffles and pancakes here and hubby enjoyed the fried chicken benedict, and my omelet was tasty. Metro is a fast turn over diner type place and nothing fancy, but the food is dependable, tasty, and plenty of it. A good option here in Palm Coast especially for a family.

My wife and I had breakfast here this morning and although the food was tasty we did feel rushed. I understand that they're busy and people are waiting but we can't eat as fast as we used to and like a slower breakfast. So best not to visit during peak times if you're like us.

Good hearty breakfast! The menu has some interesting combinations. Their omelets are good and I like their bowls. Our kids like it here for the pancakes and waffles. Husband gets the breakfast burger every time. Coffee needs to be better.

I find some of the dishes here way too gluttonous and unappealing such as fried donut burgers, but for dinner tonight I had their Charleston style shrimp & grits with andouille sausage and thought it was an excellent dish. Our server could have been nicer but at least she was efficient and the atmosphere was okay.
Highlight of visit: Charleston shrimp & grits were delicious.
