I've visited here a few times and had some good sandwiches and wraps, but the dog burger special I had today was a disaster. I knew from the name it was a mistake to order it! Very messy to eat, unappealing, and just way too much. Didn't even eat half until I gave up!

The new remodleing is nice but we found the seating uncomfortable and the metal chairs are not good for the cold weather. The server was not the best, very slow and dull. The food was mixed, the BBQ sandwich was very good but the fish dip was a fail and tasted like cat food. The clam chowder was good. My friend was disappointed with her wrap, which fell apart as the tortilla was too dry. I guess you need to know what is good and what's not here.

I thought it was good here. The decor is very cool and the lady serving was very nice, and I took her recommendation of the cowboy burger which was loaded and a challenge to finish. The fries were good too and if this wasn't a work lunch, the cocktails looked tempting. It's very hidden from the road and you have to in the airport entrance to find it.

First time here since it was Highjackers and it's not so good. It does have an upgraded interior but it's lost the personality it had before, and it's also very echoey making it hard to converse. The food was ok but nothing outstanding or memorable. The mixed drinks weren't that great either. The staff were good though. I would visit again but more of a place with friends for beers and burgers.

Review by Joan, Palm Coast 9/9/20253.0Food:Service:Atmosphere:
We thought the atmosphere was very good and the service was friendly and efficient. However, the food was about average. The Chicken Marsala was bland, its sauce was thin and did not taste of marsala at all, but the chicken was tender and the mashed potatoes were good. My friend had the Blackened Salmon and said is was dry and over cooked. I would come here again but would probably stick with a simpler item like a burger or a wrap.

Came for lunch yesterday (on a Sunday) and we had a great experience. We shared the ahi tuna appetizer which the best ginger wasabi dressing, and I had the Cuban panini which was huge and tasted awesome! My wife went with the Thai chili shrimp wrap and thought it was unique and delicious. The new renovations are very nice and created a cool atmosphere, and the outside area with the kids playground was full of people having fun.

Food was about average. The shrimp tasted like and had the texture of being frozen. The beer cheese soup was too cold so goopy. I don't like goopy soupy 🥴 The Ahi tacos sounded and looked much better than they were, which was quite tasteless. The server was dull and needed fire up his a$$. Great spot next to the airport though and the new updates are an improvement. Glad I got to try it but so many other choices in Palm Coast.

Very nice remodel, good food & good service. I just wish that a former Highjackers employee would drop off the Black Beans & Rice that I used to get at Highjackers. ðŸ˜
Highlight of visit: Everyone was very nice, professional and courteous.

I know this place can do better and maybe the cooks are still trying to find their groove. Nachos were a plane crash! My sandwich a sloppy mess! My husband liked his haddock and chips but didn’t think they were worth $22! They did have a good crowd in there and the new layout is nice but the food needs improving and prices to quality ration is way off.

Stopped in with a friend bites and drinks and had great service and our sandwiches were very good, but they need a new bar person here! Our drinks were bad! They really destroyed my friend’s margarita and don’t ask for a cosmo! The new updates are a big improvement and the kid’s play area by the runway looked fun.

The upgrades are nice and I especially like the new bar but it’s quite loud. The food is about the same as before. Wings and shrimp were good but fries were not so great. The service was slow but I guess they’re still working out the kinks.

Review by Stephan, Palm Coast 5/6/20253.0Food:Service:Atmosphere:
I like the location and sitting outside watching the airport activity is very cool, but the service and food need improvement. Staff were friendly, but they let us stand around for a table even though there were many available and the service was slow. The food was about average and lacked flavor. Bottled beer was warm! I adit they did a nice job updating this restaurant but they need more work on the food and service. I'll give them more time until I return.

Glad that they're reopened and the place looks awesome. Our server was an older lady but had a lot of energy and was very friendly. The menu isn't that much different from before offering all the usual burgers, handhelds, wings, etc. The coconut shrimp were okay but the raspberry sauce was too sweet and I'd prefer something more spicy, and a fish sandwich which tasted good. My husband liked his burger which was huge!

This is a good place if you have kids. It's at the airport which offers some interest and if you sit outside they have a great playground next to the runway. The food and service are good. We usually just get sandwiches and their paninis are tasty. We often meet up here with friends for a lunch/play date.

I wasn’t very happy with the peel n eat shrimp… tasted frozen and they rely on the dipping sauce for heat, but the wings were very good and I had a great wrap here too. Servers are great and of course the setting is a lot of fun and the planes are something to watch while eating.

I like the airfield location and the decor is a lot of fun, plus the service was very good. The food was good but a little turbulent! My wife had the Chicken Marsala and the chicken was on the tough side and the sauce had an odd taste. But I had a Black and Blue Burger and thought it was excellent. The chips and salsa were nothing special. The bar also needs some work and a drinks menu would be a great addition.

This place always had bad names LOL Highjakers for an airport restaurant? Landing Strip? Seriously? Some images don't mix with lunch 😲🙀 Server was enthusiastic but kitchen seemed slow and the bar needs a fridge or more ice as beers were not cold. We just grabbed sandwiches which were OK but my panini was greasy and my friend had the Italian burger and said it was very salty. The location really deserves better, and a better name.
