Review of Tomahawk Tavern by Shawn from Palm Coast
We had a really fun time here and highly recommended it for anyone looking for something different to do in Palm Coast. The food is awesome and my steak was cooked to perfection and loved the sides plus great drinks from the bar. The ax throwing is a lot of fun the host was very cool.

Food was good but just too expensive for me to eat here often... $15+ for a burger and $30+ fr a steak is a bit too much for me especially for the kind of place it is. But the staff were really nice and the beers went down well. The axe throwing looked fun and would like to try that one day. This is the kind of place like bowling that is better with a bunch of people.

Very cool concept with really good food and cool drinks, but didn't care about the atmosphere much -- it felt like I was in an old VFW hall or hunting lodge! The service was good and they have an interesting menu -- good to see poutines on there which I haven't seen in Florida -- my steak was cooked just right and had good flavor. Not sure who orders the $75 ribeye though!

Looked it over. Looks so nice, but husband noticed no draft beers! 🤔 It's pretty hard to find places in Florida that have like Bells two hearted beer. But sadly they do not have any on draft.

Meeting friends at this place and had trouble finding it especially in the rains. Barn type building but much better inside than it first looks and the staff were welcoming and liked it at the bar. Chicken sandwich was very good and pretzel bites great with awesome sauce. They also make a good Manhattan 🥃 and Espresso Martini 🍸. Didn't throw any axes but maybe will next time.

Mixed feelings after leaving here... on the positive side the food was delicious and drinks very good... the Bourbon and Peach Glazed Pork Chops were excellent. On the negative side service was scattered, forgetful and a little condescending! Two of us had items missing from our dishes to be told by our server that we asked for them to be removed, which wasn't true at all! Also, the axe throwing area was cramped and we didn't get to do that, but would like to try one day as it looked fun.

Food is excellent. Bar staff great. Just the best place we need in the Palm Coast area. Off the beaten path on US 1 in Bunnell. If you're into "axing", this is your Nirvana. The location is where the Moose was and Black Cloud Saloon. Highly recommend.
Highlight of visit: Jason at the bar was great. The burgers are the best in town.

Really impressed with the food and their cocktails are excellent. They have poutines which is awesome and the steak was delicious and well cooked. The staff are super friendly and they have a great open barn type of feel space. Didn't get to throw any tomahawks but will be back to do that and eat some more soon.
Highlight of visit: The chimichurri ribeye was really good and their poutines are a must try.
