Tomahawk Tavern PERMANENTLY CLOSED

The wings and burgers were really good. The burger was a monster and tasty! Potato chips and fries were not the best. The drinks were great. Service was good but could have checked on us more. They've made some improvements inside since our last visit which are much better.

We stopped in mid afternoon and it was very quiet so I think it would have a much better atmosphere with more people. A table close to us was empty but no one had cleared it yet, but otherwise it was clean everywhere. Staff served us between what looked like having their own pizza, which is fine but we felt like we were bothering our server whenever we needed something. I will say that the food was good though and I had an amazing burger. It was pricey at $18.95 but was impressive. I guess our timing was off and would try again in the evening with more people around, as it was a nice place and looked like it could be fun with the music, pool and axe throwing.

They've done some work here since my last visit and it's much better now. They have pool tables in front and the restaurant area is more together and not so spread out. They have some good drinks and we liked the new pizzas, and they have awesome nachos. I still can't throw an ax for shit but it's fun nonetheless.

With 10 people in tavern, the 1 female bartender was rude and obvioisly cannot multitask. I waited 20 min to order a pizza to go beacause no one answers when you call. After finally getting served from another staff member, i waited almost an hour for my pizza, which was clearly raw. Nothing impressed me. This place will clearly be out of business soon with their poor staffing. Horrible customer service.

We were impressed with the food here... wings and the sliders were awesome and their pizza is really good. Drinks went down well and they had a good deal with beer + pizza. Server was great and it was a fun place... they have pool tables now too which gives it more of a bar than a restaurant feel. We like dit here a lot and plan on returning.

BF comes here for the steaks which he loves but I'm not much of red meat fan, so I just had a shrimp alfredo dish which was good but I didn't like the pasta they used, I would of preferred fettuccini and this was more like white mac and cheese with a few shrimp on top. Our service was very good and it's a fun place. BF paid but it is pricey in my opinion.

The steaks are top quality and huge! The Jalapeno Poppers are addictive! Cocktails were good and great staff. Didn't throw but looked fun.

No room for lightweights here... this is where you eat and play like a Viking! Very meat heavy menu and little in the light side which just isn't to my liking, however, my husband was in heaven and had a huge steak that he loved. I kind of grazed on a salad which I wasn't really in the mood for. Axe throwing looked fun but we didn't play. They do have a really nice big bar which is where we sat, and we did get great service.

Nice place and good people. Had a great burger here for lunch. The steaks looked amazing so will have to come back one evening and get one. Out of the way but I think they're worth heading out for.

I think the problem with this place is that it's too big so when there were only a few customers like when we went it didn't have any atmosphere and felt like we were dining alone in a big hall. But our server was awesome and I had a really good burger! The axe throwing looked like it would be fun but we didn't have time.

Went tonight for tacos and they did not disappoint. Great prices with tacos ranging from just $2-4 and margs for about $4. The steak tacos were awesome! Service was friendly and we enjoyed sitting at the bar. It's easy to forget about this place as it's out of the way, but we always enjoy it when there.

I got the M-Axe & Cheese with chicken and it was perfect! Chicken was good, not dry by any means, and the pasta was cooked perfectly as well. I called in my order, walked from next door and it was ready! The bartender was sweet and everything happened in a timely manner❤️

Definitely a unique place! Set in front of the campground and feels like a large rustic lodge and out of place for Palm Coast. However, the food was really good and we had a very fun time. We had steaks and they were perfectly cooked and drinks were good too. We didn't get to throw and exes but that looked fun. This is one of those places that you'd appreciate more with a group of friends.

This place should be called TraumaHawk Tavern! We thought we'd check this place out as it sounded fun. We arrived and there were some people outside smoking and when we went in, just two couples were sitting at opposite ends of the long bar but no staff in sight. We stood around for ages but no one came to see us... no greeters, servers or even bar staff! Then finally a server came out and handed food to one of the couples sitting at the bar, looked our way and completely ignored us! No acknowledgment whatsoever! F that! It looked like it was some big old hall inside with a flat atmosphere and not inviting at all. We just turned around and headed to Texas Roadhouse where we had a feast with great service.

I have to be honest, I really didn't like the vibes here! I will admit that the food was much better than I expected, but the atmosphere fell flat and our server didn't do much to enhance the experience. It feels like some kind of remote Saskatchewan lumberjack hunting lodge which just doesn't appeal to me, especially for dinner. I also see that it's up for sale so hopefully it'll become something more inviting.

Fun place with great steaks, AND axe throwing! They have a full bar, but wasn't impressed with my Dirty Martini. My New York Strip, on the other hand, was fabulous! In addition to axe throwing, there was a corn hole tournament going on that night, right in the middle of the restaurant! It ain't a fancy steak house by any definition, but you can go and have a great night out, enjoy a great steak, and hone your axe throwing skills!

Highlight of visit: A New York Strip is normally a very good cut, but mine was thick, and juicy, and cooked to perfection.

Best place to be on Taco Tuesdays! They have the best tacos in town and great drinks. You get to throw some axes too!

It was quite empty when we were there but the service was still sluggish and the atmosphere very dull. However, the food saved the day as it really was very good. The menu is not very big and doesn't offer much variety but my wife and I's steaks were incredible and my son raved about his burger. If service was better this would be a 5 star review.

We came here as it was recommended for its steaks and we weren't interested in the ax throwing. We didn't really enjoy the atmosphere or the decor but we did receive terrific service that was friendly, polite and efficient. The menu isn't very large and is on the expensive side especially as it's far from being a fine dining experience. However, we ordered our steaks which were huge and had excellent flavor and were cooked exactly as requested. My fires were a let down though but my brother said his roasted potatoes were very good. Overall, we did enjoy our meal and the service but it's just not the kind of place we would visit too often and I think it's much more suited to a younger crowd.

This wasn't quite what I expected from its ads which made it look like a lively really fun and happening place, but it was quite empty and the atmosphere kind of dull and even the staff didn't have much enthusiasm. However, we made our own fun and the food was very good, with the apps and sides actually being the best choices and my tacos were excellent. The only complaint from the food in our party was that the Chicken Sandwich was dry and tough. We all thought the Mac & Cheese was awesome. Iced tea was not good and had an odd flavor. It was on the expensive side and as mush as I'd paid for a fine dining meal without quality service.
