Review of Bronx House Pizza Hammock by Dean from Palm Coast
This is my kind of place. Love the pizza and food and the service is excellent. It has the vibe I like especially when busy as it feels like a pizza parlor I'd frequent back home. I've had a few pies here and all have been very good. My wife orders pasta dishes or salads and has enjoyed all of those. Keep up the great work Bronx!

I love the building and interior and the vibe they give off, which is very similar to the places back North and something I miss. Also the food, especially the pizza is very reminiscent of from up there too. Without a doubt the best pizza I've had in Florida and their cheesecake is a delicious finish. They also have a full service bar with some good priced wines and cocktails. This restaurant is a gem!

The Nuts & Bolts Detroit deep pan is a really awesome pie! Impressed with the Lasagne Balls starter too! Service was excellent and the decor and vibe are spot on. I parked around the back by the wine place but no big deal. Couldn't be happier that Bronx House is here!

I'm not a pizza guy so I ordered the Brushetta which was fresh and tasty and the Chicken Marsala which was very tender with great flavors... Loved the wine sauce and the pasta was just right. The Hammock Mule cocktail hit the spot. The service was excellent and the atmosphere couldn't have been better.

We finally had a chance to try this new pizzeria and couldn't have wished for a better experience. Our server was the best possible and the atmosphere is spot on and just what we need around here. As for the food, it was all fabulous. From the appetizers to the pizzas 🍕 everything was so delicious, and not forgetting the amazing mixed drinks 🍸 So happy they opened here and raised the standard for local dining.
Highlight of visit: You have to order the Burrata appetizer - it's so good 😋

Very impressed with everything about this new restaurant. The building is beautiful and the staff that works there are well trained and professional. I visited with my wife and we shared a Bruschetta starter and a NY Style Big Al pizza, which were delicious. We also had some excellent cocktails including the best Espresso Martini I've tasted.

We thought everything about this place was excellent except for the limited parking. The ambiance is awesome and it does not feel like you're in the Hammock, and the staff appears to be well trained and knowledgable. We ordered personal pizzas each which are just the right size and our party of 4 were all happy with their pies. My choice was the Big Al NY style, which I thought was the best NY style pizza I've had in Florida. This was a very good first time here and I hope they maintain the quality of food and service.

We go out for an experience, not just a meal. First time here, walked in and was very impressed.
Pizza was good, not sure we got the extra cheese we ordered but that is ok. Our issue sitting at the bar!!!!! Our drinks sat empty while the bartender was talking to other people.
At least 30 minutes with one person and another 15 with another, that is 45 minutes without her EVER serving a beverage to ANYONE!!!!. And when I did get her attention, she just told another bartender to serve us????? So...... rather than having more drinks and leaving a MUCH larger tip, we did without more drinks and left a minimal tip. Something I NEVER DO!!!!

Very professionally run place with great service and delicious well made food. The environment is welcoming and has a good vibe. The menu has excellent pizza choices plus your usual heroes, calzones, and pasta dishes, plus they have a full bar which is a big plus. Our Butcher Shop Pizza was superb and the Nonna's Meatball starter was great to share. Our server couldn't have been better and we can't wait to return.

This place continues to impress. Friendly and inviting atmosphere. Our server was very friendly and attentive. First visit I enjoyed the organic chicken parm, three medallions topped with the appropriate amount of sauce and fresh mozzarella. My friend had the fried lasagna balls and although I didn’t try the presentation was top notch, they give a ** here. My son loved the wings. Second visit we had the haymaker, my husband is still talking about it. Also love that there is a full bar and I can get a cocktail so close to home. Can’t wait for the beer garden to open. Overall 5 stars for a casual pizza house.
Highlight of visit: Dirty Martini, Haymaker, and Chicken Parm!

I finally got to try this new place today and it was everything I hoped it would be. Staff immediately greeted us and we had a nice table close to the bar where we could see all the action. It's a bustling place that creates quite an urban atmosphere which I have missed. We ordered the burrata for starters which was so good, and a Haymaker Detroit pan pizza that was perfect in every way... bacon jam yum! And the best part is that they have a full liquor bar with some incredible cocktails... the Strawberry Fields was delicious! Our server knew her stuff and never stopped smiling. Overall an awesome experience and I will definitely return.

We occasionally cruise down the scenic road from St John’s down to Daytona. As a Bronxite I was excited to see a NY pizzeria was being built. We were cruising down today and noticed the restaurant opened. We had the Greek Salad and Cauliflower pizza our way, it was all very delicious.

Dinner last night was superb and loved the place. The eggplant parm was delicious and not greasy like at most places, and my daughter loved her tortellini alfredo dish. You have to try their espresso martini too 🍸 You're greeted by staff as soon as you approach the door and everyone was so nice and helpful.

We have enjoyed Bronx House in Port Orange for over a year and are even more impressed with this location. This location is larger than the Port Orange restaurant and the decor is charming. The food was awesome, bruschetta, pizza, ziti, bolognese and especially the tortellini. We will make the drive back soon.
Highlight of visit: Tortellini was the best.

A very good addition to the Hammock and was impressed with the quality of the food and professionalism of the service. Our pizzas were all delicious - NY Style was spot on, and our young son ate every bit of his ziti. The atmosphere is very urban and doesn't feel like it's in the Hammock. We are looking forward to coming back and recommend you try it too.

The management and staff are very attentive and professional to their customers. Have been there several times and the food and drinks were great. Much better than any other restaurant in the area.
Highlight of visit: Margaritas, meatball subs and greel salad.

Fantastic service, uncomfortable seats. interesting that a Florida menu would have no ice tea! Food was a let down, chicken parm which is a staple was way over breaded and doughy. I may try again in six months if they get it together but until then, I will stick with Joes. This place may be part of the Joes family but based on my experience, a distant cousin at best. My opinion.
Highlight of visit: August is a terrific waitress. fun, friendly and attentive.

I've been here twice already and loved it both times. It's atmosphere is awesome and is definitely unique to the Hammock and their service is highly professional. Their pizza is, without doubt, the best I've had in Flagler, and they make a superb Chicken Marsala. The Garlic Knots were fresh and have a garlic and herb butter to die for! This area has a revolving door of restaurants, but Bronx House is one of those places you just know will be around for a very long time.

I live close by and can't tell you how much we needed a good place to go that didn't cost an arm and a leg and served just really good non fussy food. As soon as you walk in you're warmly greeted and treated special. They have a great dining area with a nice bar and big covered patio out front. It has a Bronx feel with red brick walls and subway tiles and has great energy. I had Detroit Haymaker Pizza that was so good and my daughter loved her Cauliflower Pizza saying it was the best she's ever had. This is a top notch restaurant and one I know we'll be visiting frequently.
Highlight of visit: The Detroit Haymaker is highly recommended which has a delicious bacon jam.
