A quiet and unobtrusive place with great service including the chef coming out to check on customers. Relatively standard Italian/American menu items... read more!
Review of Don Luigi's by Max from Palm Coast
We had a very nice night here and was impressed with the quality of the service. The food was good but needed more flavor and the pasta was under seasoned. I had to request salt & pepper as there was none on the table. Some nice touches though and it has a lovely atmosphere.

Cute lace with a good atmosphere and staff were very professional. Although I wouldn't call the food gourmet it was quite good. The Stuffed Salmon was very good but the Lobster Ravioli tasted pre bought. Good bread. Not the best wines.

My son brought me to Don Luigi's for an early Mother's Day dinner and it was a lovely experience. They have a nice elegant yet casual atmosphere and so many delicious sounding items on the menu. I ordered a veal marsala dish which was full of flavor, tender, and looked beautiful on the plate. The sauce was rich and tasty. The bread and oil, small side salad, and tiramisu were all excellent. They also have drip espresso which was strong but smooth. The staff made everything special and thank you to my son for a great restaurant selection.

Good Italian food. Usual dishes and not much unique or creative on the menu. Our server was very good and it’s a cozy little place. Good for Palm Coast.

We've been coming to Don Luigi's for a couple of years and have never had a bad meal here. There are so many dishes on the menu to choose from that offer a good variety. Sometimes I get something simple like the Penne Genovese and leave more than satisfied, or I may get one of their excellent seafood dishes. Either way, Don Luigi's doesn't disappoint especially with their attentive service and cozy vibe.

The name says it's 'gourmet' which I would disagree with, but it is definitely very good homestyle Italian food. Service was friendly and our server took great care of us, but food was slow coming out, which was fine as we were not in a rush and we enjoyed relaxing between courses. Wine selection is basic but we did have a reasonable Chianti. We would put this on the list of Palm Coast's better restaurants and will happily return again.

Superb Italian food and professional service. Had the Penne alla Genovese with Chicken and it was superb. My wife loved her Mussels with Linguini dish. This is a very good restaurant that cares about its food and quality of service. 5 stars all around from me.
Highlight of visit: I'm a simple guy so just had the Penne alla Genovese with added chicken, and the flavors were superb. Also the Antipasto Caldo was an excellent antipasti.

My wife and I visited for dinner Saturday and enjoyed our meal, although we were disappointed with the pasta. We expected homemade or at least on the flat pastas, but they're all bought dried pasta which puts them in the same category as Olive Garden or Carrabba's, and not close to the likes of Osteria Rustica. The food did have some nice flavors but this is not elevated Italian food. Service was very professional and ambiance quite nice but a little cavernous.

Tucked away and easily missed when driving by, but it is well worth seeking out. It's small, cozy, with excellent service. The food is really delicious. From the fresh garlic bread to the pastas to the desserts, we loved every bite. The lobster ravioli was so good and reasonably priced too. The chef here definitely has a magical touch.

An intimate dining experience with highly attentive staff and very tasty food. The Bruschetta with Shrimp antipasti was very good and the Veal Masala was excellent. The Richhi Merlot complimented the meal well and a bottle was reasonably priced. I didn't give the food a full five stars as they don't have any fresh pasta and only boxed. Fresh would take the food to a whole new level.

This is a first class establishment with elegant table settings and professional service. The ambiance is calm and a great place for a romantic night out. Their soups are always a great start but you can't go wrong with any of their antipasti, and my favorite dishes are the seafood over linguine or the shrimp in white wine sauce over fettutini. A top notch experience every time!

This small, romantic restaurant serves delicious Italian food and has wonderful service. My husband and I had a date night here and we both loved it. He was very impressed with the veal Francese and my Penne alla Genovese was very tasty. The tables are quite close but it's still a very intermate experience. We thought the prices were good for today's costs and considering everything is made to order and not premade like most franchise Italian restaurants. We have added Don Luigi's to our list of favorite local restaurants.

A quiet little restaurant with professional service and a relaxing ambiance. The menu has many standard Italian dishes and although our food was quite tasty, it's really just slightly elevated pizza parlour type food. The pastas were just boxed type and not homemade, which was a letdown, and there's a lack of any in-house specialty dishes or anything that you can't get elsewhere. Frankly, the food was tasty as it goes, but rather boring. We left full at least.

Many very appealing Italian dishes on the menu that all sounded tempting. I really like raviolis so I went with the Lobster Ravioli with a Shrimp Sauce that was absolutely divine đŸ˜‹ My partner ordered a Roasted Chicken with Rosemary and Garlic which was juicy and had a nice flavor. I also recommend their espresso which is dripped at your table that went so well with the Cannolis. Service was prompt and friendly and overall a very tasty and satisfying meal.

The calamari appetizer was excellent and the lobster and ricotta ravioli were delicious. The service was very professional. Small place and the atmosphere is quite nice. Prices on high side but so is everywhere these days.

Everything was delicious and well made, from the soup to the veal I really enjoyed the food here. Service was terrific and we had a nice table to the side which was quiet. This is one of those off the track places we all try to find. Go visit you'll like.

This is one of those hidden gems that offers attentive service, amazing food, and a lovely ambiance. My husband and I stopped by while out shopping for a quick bite and ended up eating a three course meal. We started with an antipasto of meats and cheeses, then for an entree I had the Marsala Scaloppine that had a wonderfully rich and flavorful sauce, and my husband enjoyed a seafood dish in a spicy pomodoro sauce, and we couldn't resist tiramisu for dessert which was very decadent. We have driven past this restaurant many times but had never noticed it before, and very glad we finally found it.
Highlight of visit: My Marsala Scaloppine was an amazing dish. The fillets were tender and the marsala wine sauce with portobellos was so flavorful and rich and not at all heavy.
