China Express Chinese Food CLAIMED

This is our favorite for Chinese food. Always call in an order and even when busy it doesn't take too long to be ready. Small inside and not very good for dining in and can get crowded with people ordering take out. Staff efficient and prices reasonable.

Ordered a whole bunch of food for Christmas Eve and they did a great job at getting the order ready on time and being accurate. Impressed with the food and couldn't find fault in any of the dishes. Two thumbs up!

Ordered during the (non)hurricane and they were super helpful and accommodating. Managed to get our large and complicated order together quickly and accurately. Plus everything tasted great! They have us as customers for life. Thank you China Express.

There is very little differentiating all these Chinese takeout restaurants around town so it's best to just visit the one closest to where you are. China Express happens to be closest to my home and we've been mostly happy with it. Food is cooked to order and is always hot and fresh and prices are excellent for the amount of food you get. Chinese is our family's favorite on a Friday night so I think we've tried just about every dish on their menu. Flavors are good and service adequate. You can eat inside but it's not very nice as too many takeout orders coming and going and atmosphere is like a bus stop!

In true New Year's tradition, we ordered Chinese food for dinner. We haven't ordered from China Express since its reopening and the new location is bright and seems very clean. Staff were friendly and the menu offers all the usual Chinese dishes. Once home the food was plentiful and nicely packed in plastic boxes. The flavors of each dish were quite good but we found everything was too oily, especially the veg dishes and in particular the Broccoli in Garlic Sauce which was mostly oil and felt bad in the mouth. Not sure if the chef tonight was rushed or just heavy handed with oil, but this was excessive. I'd visit again to see if this was just a New Year's eve rush thing or not.

Highlight of visit: General Tso's Tofu was the best dish!

I want everyone to know that I had great experience with China Express! On the phone and in person, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. When I picked up my order they made sure I had everything and gave me sauces, cookies, chopsticks, etc. The food was delicious with plenty left over for lunch and prices were reasonable. This is not an eat in restaurant with just a small area up front but its clean and bright. I highly recommend you try China Express, it's definitely on top of the list of Chinese restaurants in Palm Coast. Ample parking too!
